While we were not able to achieve what I wished, Darren made everything clear, kept me informed, was interested in my needs, and was professional at each encounter. I contacted other providers who spend a lot of money on TV ads. The ads are misleading because you must be near death to make things happen. From day one to minute one, Darren explained and answered all the questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dan provided exceptional service. He always said what he would do and then did what he said. Very proactive in his communication and professional through and through.

Geof could not have been better to me. Very patient. I would email him with 'just a couple of questions' and proceed to write several very long messages. He always got right back to me, followed by more messages from me. I really needed this settlement and felt like he was on my side. I just poured my heart out to him. Normally not something I would do, but felt comfortable enough with him. Unfortunately my settlement didn't come through but definitely felt that he had done as much as he could. I believed him when he said that he was sorry that it didn't come through and would check up with me to see if anything changed with my medical issues. Unfortunately I know many women who are dying of breast cancer, of course there is a FB group with thousands of members. Many are struggling financially also. I will reply and tell them about this company and tell them to ask for Geoff.

With my Term Life Insurance Premium's skyrocketing to 4-digits per month, I talked with my financial advisor, he said there were companies that bought policies like mine. I researched online, found and vetted, OVID Life and the regional director, account services, Dan Winegrad, called me within 24 hours to discuss the process. I previously had a very stressful review a few years back--the company had me going in circles with supplying information--saying they were not getting access to my records etc. it was time wasting, and they never gave me a decision or any follow up. Dan communicated often on the progress of my evaluation, he answered my questions in a timely fashion. He spoke with my financial planner, and as my health records indicated after review -- my policy would not fit OVID's buy profile, Dan went carefully over the results with me today. I am very pleased I would highly recommend OVID and Dan Winegrad.

I have a story to tell - My name is Richard Neville and I am a CPA and my wife and I live 6 months in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and during the Winter we live in Sarasota County, Florida, in a gated community, where we play golf 3 times a week. I am 77 years old.

Since the age of 22, when I received my CA ( Now a CPA ), I have been paying for a $250,000 term life insurance policy with Manulife Insurance. Until the age of 55, the premium was very reasonable. Now it is approximately $1,000.00 per month. That is ridiculous and what is clear is that Manulife just wants me to drop the policy ASAP. SO......I wanted to sell my life term policy and convert it to cash.

Therefore, I called Ovid Life Insurance and was put in contact with Darren May. I have now spoken to Darren a couple of times. He has been more than helpful in explaining exactly what " Selling One's Life Insurance " means and what are the steps to go about it. That being said, Darren has informed ,e that after a little bit of research, unfortunately. Ovid Insurance cannot do business in Ontario, Canada.

I just wanted to say that although that information is not what I was expecting to hear, I do want to " Thank " Darren for ALL the great advice/knowledge he shared with me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH DARREN. To his management team.....in my opinion, he is an asset to be retained within your ranks.

Don’t waste your time with these people. All dealing with them did was cost me an additional $267 premium when I would have been letting it lapse. They should have been able to tell they were not going to make an offer within a week instead of taking over a month; Especially since they had dealt with my insurance company before. Save yourself the hassle and just move on.

Greg Bates assisted us throughout the entire process, keeping us well informed and updated at each step. He was professional yet very personable.
