Good service and support.

Being a client for multiple years, I rarely had any issues. Recently sent 2 tickets regarding two different, but related, issues and both of them were treated in a very professional matter.
Not only did they call me by phone to try and understand better my problem (ticket CS15383270 wich was resolved after that call), they also considered and accepted my request regarding my contratual commitment after migrating servers (ticket CS15383312).
So far I'm happy with the quality of service and support.

Tive uma péssima experiência…

Contratei um servidor para testes iniciais de um site simples. Durante esse período, o projeto recebeu um pequeno pico de acessos (algo totalmente esperado em fases de validação), mas o ambiente aparentemente não suportou nem mesmo um tráfego mínimo, resultando em instabilidade e, pouco depois, no cancelamento do serviço.

O mais estranho foi que, mesmo se tratando de um volume baixo e legítimo de acessos — sem qualquer ação automatizada ou uso indevido — a solução adotada foi simplesmente encerrar o servidor, sem oferecer alternativas, ajustes de configuração ou qualquer análise mais cuidadosa do cenário.

O valor pago é irrelevante, mas a experiência deixa uma impressão ruim: falta de preparo para cenários básicos de teste e nenhuma flexibilidade para novos clientes que ainda estão avaliando a plataforma.

Para quem pretende iniciar projetos ou validar aplicações antes de escalar, esse tipo de situação gera insegurança e frustração logo no primeiro contato.

Cancelado sobre alegação de ataques

Minha primeira experiência com a OVHcloud foi bastante frustrante.

Contratei um servidor para testes internos, que nunca chegou a ir para produção, sem acesso público e utilizado apenas pelo desenvolvedor. Pouco tempo após a contratação, o serviço foi cancelado sem reembolso, sob a alegação de “tráfego malicioso nos primeiros dias”.

Mesmo após explicar detalhadamente o contexto do ambiente, informando que:

o servidor estava em fase de testes,

não havia usuários ou clientes,

utilizamos Cloudflare no domínio,

não houve qualquer indício de invasão ou uso malicioso,

a OVH manteve a posição de quebra de contrato, sem abertura para uma análise técnica mais profunda ou consideração do cenário apresentado.

O valor envolvido é baixo (€8), mas o principal problema é a falta de flexibilidade, diálogo técnico e bom senso, especialmente para um cliente em sua primeira contratação.

Infelizmente, a experiência transmite insegurança para quem deseja testar ou iniciar projetos na plataforma.

We’re truly sorry that your first experience with OVHcloud was frustrating, especially during the testing phase of your project.

Our teams repeatedly requested clarification regarding the UDP traffic detected by our Anti-Hack system. Even in a test environment, no server is completely immune to potential attacks, and the traffic observed did not match a typical installation pattern.

Without detailed technical information, our network administrators can't remove the restriction or confirm a false positive, in accordance with our strict security procedures designed to protect all customers.

We completely understand your disappointment and remain at your disposal. If you have additional details to share, please reply to the last email you received so our teams can review your case as quickly as possible.

Outstanding Customer Support and Professionalism

I have spent many years in the tech industry, working with both ISVs and IHVs, and collaborating closely with various support organizations, including managing my own support team. I can confidently say that I have never experienced support of this quality.
From my very first day, on December 31st, 2025, when launching a critical test project, I was met with individuals who were consistently available, professional, and genuinely supportive. Today, I once again received outstanding support from the team in Lisbon. This truly reflects an exceptional level of customer service and customer experience.

Tudo corre bem quando acaba bem.

Tive alguma dificuldade em registar-me como cliente da OVHcloud, até porque não existe nenhum apoio on-line através da pagina oficial. No entanto através do messenger do Facebook, consegui o apoio que pretendia que fazer o registo sem problemas. No chat de ajuda na pagina oficial, deveria haver a opção de falarmos com um assistente real e não com um chatbot.

Atendimento ao cliente excelente!

No dia 22/07/2025 precisei de recorrer ao apoio ao cliente da OVH por telefone e o atendimento foi excelente.
Inicialmente não foi possível resolver de imediato e fiquei a aguardar um contacto para o ticket, mas o técnico disponibilizou-se para contactar telefonicamente com a resolução e guiou-me nas alterações necessárias à minha conta.
O Vítor foi super simpático e prestável.

OVH does not consider its customers

OVH and the lack of respect for its customers.

I bought a server over 10 months ago, with loyalty, but it had a bad block on the HD, OVH, I had to migrate because OVH did not have real-time delivery, and I could not exchange the HD with the risk of losing all the data.

Even though I have been a customer for over 10 years, with hundreds of thousands of euros spent as a customer, the request to terminate a server, which occurred due to hardware failure, is not taken into consideration and they want me to pay for a server that will not be used.

OVH needs to worry about serving its customers better, because a decade-long commitment relationship is worth more than a simple $80 contract compared to the thousands of dollars invested as a customer.

Servidor apagado nem um mes passou

Servidor apagado nem um mes passou.

Comprei um servidor, nem usei, fiquei um mes no hospital, volto a casa, dizem la : Pague os serviços para ativar o serviço, efetuei o pagamento e alem de ter ficado sem dinheiro, apagara me o servidor. Falei com chat, e os assistentes nem querem saber, so sabem dizer sao as leis da empresa. Por favor , trabalho com mais de 4 casa de alojamento bem maiores do que ovh , hostinger e uma delas, e nunca passei por isto. E vou fazer uma queixa no portal tambem. Estes senhores nao podem fazer o que querem.. Todos meus clientes vao mudar para outros alojamentos, pois hoje fui eu, amanha podem ser eles.

The account holder is the sole manager of these services, and must activate all of these security measures in order to keep the service as described in our general terms and conditions of sale: https://www.ovhcloud.com/es-es/terms-and-conditions/contracts/

However, you can challenge this decision by creating a support ticket for our claims department and request a commercial gesture.

They will then be able to study the situation and provide you with a response as soon as possible (within approximately seven working days).

This is an absolute SCAM

This is an absolute SCAM! ⚠️💥 I paid 14 euros for a domain name, and within a minute, they claimed it was created and confirmed. Two minutes later, they said it was canceled for some unknown reason. When I asked why, they refused to give me an answer, and then told me the payment wasn’t even charged to my account. I spent nearly 15 minutes with support and got absolutely nowhere. So, from what I can tell, I’ve just been scammed. ⚠️💣 The worst part? They told me the only solution is to pay again. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these scammers! 🚨

NÃO RECOMENDO

No dia 19 de novembro, comprei vários servidores dedicados durante a Black Friday e, para minha surpresa, no dia 22 de novembro, recebo um e-mail informando o cancelamento dos meus pedidos, alegando “falta de estoque”. O que realmente me revoltou foi ver que os mesmos servidores foram disponibilizados novamente para outros clientes, enquanto os meus pedidos continuam pendentes!

E o pior de tudo: não tentaram resolver a situação de forma nenhuma! Não ofereceram um servidor similar, uma alternativa ou qualquer outra solução razoável. O único caminho foi o simples cancelamento e um reembolso que não me interessa, pois eu só queria o que foi prometido.

Essa situação é uma piada de mau gosto. Como pode uma empresa do porte da OVH, que se diz confiável e transparente, anunciar servidores como “disponíveis”, permitir que os clientes façam a compra e, depois, simplesmente cancelar os pedidos com uma desculpa esfarrapada de “falta de estoque”? Isso é inaceitável e demonstra uma falta de respeito e compromisso total com os clientes. Não há organização, não há transparência, e parece que o cliente não tem nenhum valor para vocês.

Sou cliente da OVH já irá fazer quase um ano, e depois dessa experiência, estou mais do que disposto a procurar um fornecedor que, ao menos, tenha o mínimo de respeito e profissionalismo.

I confirm that an internal error is the cause of the restocking of the KS-A and KS-LE servers between November 19 and 21. Our CEO communicated about this on X (Twitter) and here is the tweet concerned:

It's not only the orders placed on the 19th that will be canceled. All orders placed between November 19 and 21 will be canceled due to the internal error because we do not have stock for these Kimsufi server models.

We have many customers who are affected by this error and I reiterate my apologies.

They emptied my server only a few days after my credit card got invalid.

Updated: They sent one warning about the server deletion and deleted one day after.
