Great customer service & quality product
We had two pairs of bi-fold doors fitted in September 2021.
Very relaxed but informative consultation with Ed & then a good installation from Rob & his team.
Despite the Covid issues at the time, all installed as scheduled.
One year on & no issues with the doors at all. Very happy customer

Our new windows and patio doors made a big difference! Great service from start to finish, and a very professional team who did the install. The doors and windows look great, are of high quality and are much more stylish than our old white PVC ones. Would recommend!

Highly recommend
The service from beginning to end was faultless and all the staff were so friendly. We had one little scratch on one of the glass panels when they arrived and with no hesitation they sorted this out for us. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful windows, delightful doors!
We bought 18 windows and doors from Origin and love them. They haven't gone through a full winter yet but have performed well through some challenging weather. No sign of any draughts or leaks. They look very smart and feel very secure.
Would definitely recommend.

High quality market leading products and excellent customer service
When renovating my house I had many options and providers to choose from and it was a bit daunting wanting to choose the right products. I was recommended to look at Origin and I’ve never looked back since. Having reviewed other products comparing their products to other brands they simply do not compare in terms of build quality. Admittedly the products are towards the higher end of the market in terms of cost but you get what you pay for in terms of quality and security the products offer. The service from their partners was fantastic who helped assist from original design to installation. If you’re in any doubt as to which supplier to use I would recommend you review their products as from there it’s an easy choice.

Origin windows and doors
This is the second time I have chosen origin products, on this occasion I needed windows within quite a tight timescale. Origin were able to supply this and the quality of the product is obvious in its look and feel. I was going back and forth on whether to go with them for my front door in addition to the windows and I am so pleased I did, I have had a lot of positive comments with regards to the door and windows, my builder in particular was really impressed with the product. Would highly recommend these products.

Shocking!!!
This is now second experience of purchasing Origins product. I was told to use Origin by my suppliers because of the high standards and such a quality produced product. THIS IS FAR FROM THE TRUTH!!! So much that my supplies will no longer be using Origin due to the amount of agro they get.
I have spent roughly 35k net recent on origins product and I will not be spending or recommending any more. My issues as a builder are before they are a manufacturers issue and not an installer issue.
The product is priced as a high quality product but I have received nothing but sub standard product and has cost my business on multiple occasions whether it be delivered incorrectly, incorrect configuration or just incredibly poor quality.
The most recent part delivery (because the order has not come complete) 2x 3 leaf sliders and a set of french doors.
Out of this delivery only 1 frame is acceptable. Everything else has either dents, paint blemishes (where they have tried to rectify after powder coating) deep scratches, corners that have been cut and joinedook like they have been chewed, powder coating flaking and sharp edges along with poor joints that could cut your fingers.
I would strongly advise any persons that are looking for good quality and reliability look elsewhere.
The web chat told me to take the issues up with my supplier!!!!!!!!!

I bought Origin bi-fold doors in 2012 and after 10 years the original rubber seals were rotting. My installer was no longer in business so I contacted Origin directly and they were superb in supporting their product and deivering on their 20 year warranty. They replaced all the seals with the newer Q-Lon gasket and serviced the whole set of doors replacing various parts with newer components. The work team were fantastic, tidy, professional and friendly and the office support was also excellent: friendly and supportive. I was worried with the installer no longer available that I would be left in limbo despite the 20 year guarantee but my expectations were surpassed and I would recommend Origin as a trustworthy business who support their products and their customers. We understand it can be worrying when your original supplier/installer is no longer around to supply the aftercare they would normally be responsible for. Whilst Origin does not have a team of fitters to support every event, we are glad we were able to assist you under your individual circumstances. Poor quality leaking frame
Noticed rain water ingress at corner of sliding door frame after fitting. Fitting company were very good and tried for 4 months to diagnose fault. Eventually after fitter phoned Origin for advice told to remove section of frame and found roughly cut drainage hole in lower frame (see pic) blocked with mastic. This lower frame area is not exposed during fitting so could not be seen and mastic blockage was done by Origin (which they confirmed during the call). Replacement lower frame section now fitted and I am currently monitoring for leaks. The point is - if I had put my new wood flooring down immediately after doors fitted I would probably never have noticed the water until eventual serious damage to wood subfloor. How many people have water ingress caused like this which is hidden ? I suspect the “good lead in times” which Origin boast about are at the expense of quality control. My advice - avoid Origin products.

We are confused as to why the drainage hole is blocked with mastic, as Origin prep the holes in production and no sealant is applied at this stage. The application of sealant is during the installation process when the outer frame is assembled on site by your installer. If your installer wishes to discuss this further, they can contact their aftersales team.

We have parts of our door missing
We have parts of our door missing, the seals to keep the door sealed. We've contacted our fitter and another local fitter, no one will respond. Have contacted Origin so many times by phone and email. There's no customer service, not help at all. Still have wind whistling through!

The trained and registered fitter no longer worked for KMC so an unclassified person fitted it! That's why it's not been signed off. Origin need to check their product is being fitted by a person trained and registered with them.
Since all of this we have tracked down the proper trained fitter who now works for himself. The Bi-fold was very unsafe, we were told not to use it. The panels had to be taken out and refitted. The whole biofold needed squaring up and pushed along at one end as there was 5 mm gap at one side. The missing pads and strips were ordered and fitted. We now will have a much warmer winter!!

All Origin partners work as independent suppliers and whist we do work closely with them, the partner is responsible for the surveying, ordering of products, installing and aftercare. This is supported by Origin’s manufactured product warranty which will rectify any manufacturing failure of the physical product.
As these are missing parts, it will fall under the responsibility of your original installer/supplier to provide to you.
You say that no one is responding when contacting your installer. May we suggest giving them a call as opposed to emailing.
In regards to you stating that no one from Origin has responded, please make sure that you are using our enquiry email enquiry@origin-global.com or call our customer service on 01494 686868. We also have a live chat system available from 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday for someone to respond to you, should you have any further enquiries.

Actual delivery timescale around 20 weeks
6 windows were installed this week and they look good. Deposit was paid on 22 October. The delivery date for the french doors which were also ordered at the same time and are part of the same job has been revised to 9 March and even this date may be in question. After 138 days this really is unacceptable. Would never deal with Origin again. In October their website said just a few weeks leadtime!

The industry is experiencing some supply issues at the moment and unfortunately our supply chain has been impacted by this, this is something that us currently out of our control.

Great quality, transformed our home!
We’ve replaced all our doors and windows with Origin products and couldn’t be more pleased. We particularly love our bifolds and smart front door. You can really feel and see the quality. The house has been completely transformed and we get so many compliments on how classy our doors and windows look. We had them installed about 2 years ago and just bloody love them. Huge disappointment - windows delayed
We ordered Origin windows back in November . They are for a standard colour / fit. They were meant to be delivered in Jan and now have a 1st of March 2022 delivery date. Waiting for these windows has caused a huge delay to our building work . Had we known this, we would have chosen an alternative supplier .

Very clearly a quality product
We put Origin sliding doors and bifolds into our kitchen and living room. If you're in two minds about whether to go premium or not, I'd absolutely recommend going for the best in Origin. They operate so smoothly and are really impressively built. Couldn't be happier with them and looking forward to swapping our windows out in our second phase of upgrades.
