Highly recommended!
After months and months of doing virtual vino sessions, I found THE perfect option for me, The Online Wine Tasting Club. I’ve now done quite a few sessions with them - I've subscribed to their more advanced Adventurer series but have also done a few one offs from the other series and even a special that they organized with South West Australia. And I remain impressed. Why?
It all starts with a well formed box with 6 generous wine samples in pouches, and small, cute details in the packaging.
Always a great selection of high quality wines - allowing you to really taste the region.
Then the live session itself - it’s as interactive as they get, with crowd sourced tasting notes and polls, and loads of humour. It’s well produced, including interviews with winemakers recorded on location and lovely shots of vineyards. All combined with a slow descent towards merriness as more and more wine is consumed.
Highly recommended!

A great effort
Thank you Alex and Jamie. The wines and videos are very good. However, the cartons which were great for me on my own during lockdown (plus of course Jamie and Alex’s company) proved unwieldy for my subsequent groups of eight. In order to keep the weight and postage costs down for larger groups a wine carton with a tap might be the answer. In the meantime, unfortunately, we might have to buy our wine in bottles at the local supermarkets where there are some good but cheaper offers.

Hello Jennifer, thank you very much for your feedback, we always like to hear from our loyal followers what we can do to improve your tasting experiences. For purposes of larger groups, we have the option for customers to purchase the bottles as a tasting case set which would be plenty for an 8 person tasting, more affordable and you won't have to try 'similar', less quality wines from a supermarket. Great wine but chat was tedious and irrelevant
Great wine but live online was a shambles. Way too much irrelevant chatter, almost impossible to learn about the wine.
Great shame, marketing 10/10, packaging and design 10/10, product and volume 10/10. Host 1/10 at best. Needs work!

However, I'm so sorry to hear that you felt that our live tasting show didn't hit the mark for you. We aim to be a relaxed, jargon-free, wine tasting evening - as much about entertainment as it is eduction. I know you joined our Bordeaux tasting, which is our more advanced series, and we aimed to celebrate some lesser known but great value styles. Jamie, Alex & I all have many years in the wine industry, and our mission is to make it a subject accessible for all.

Innovative packaging
Very good service, packaging is modern and used by other companies .100m is perfect for tasting too.
Tastings are fun, if a little too flippant and IT challenged at times. The involvement of producers is a definite positive. Personable presenters also.

I enjoyed the variety of wine but
Good idea and I enjoyed the variety of wines and zoom. 250cc would have been a bit better to split. My partner found the chat a bit laddish and off putting. A pity a few boorish posts spoiled the comments board

Great personal service
Great personal service. No hard sell. The products and services are top quality and speak for themselves.
The online tasting sessions helped us through lockdown and we loved the wine samples coming through the letter box. The team don't take themselves too seriously and have helped us open our horizons to wines from all over the globe. Our favourite wines amongst others come from South Africa.
We wish the team every success with their business. They work very hard with great results.
