No heating or hot water for 25 days…

I was left left without heating or hot water for 25 days, family Christmas was ruined I had to book into a hotel for 2 days, using contracted Swale engineers whom I believe let me down in 3 visits before the boiler was fixed on the 29th of December.

0/5 I phoned them yesturday to speak with Healy who books the so called Gas Safety checks (As they missed 4th appointment with me waiting for nothing.Was of course told that she was in a meeting (They always say they are in meetings, Doing what? Not the job they are paid for) so told that she would call me after meeting, As expected no call back. So I thought I would give her a chance to call me today a day later.So at 3.48pm as still no call .So i have rang and i am now 4.34pm and im still on hold waiting for some ine to answer ? This company has got a lot worst since joining up with this Riverside ( who have the worst reviews by their own tenants) Now it looks like we have to put up with this.Well not me .Its Time One Housing was brought to account. So major complaint going in & ill fight it tje whole way to the top .They can keep getting away with this & then make on their website HOW GOOD & PROFESSIONAL They are .When infact they are Not. If you are concidering buying part ownership from One Housing/Riverside take my advice Dont ...Trust me its not worth the hassle & their new builds are a disgrace.ill also now be checking if they still get any Goverment funding.Which they should not be getting and if they are Ill challenge it so it gets stopped. ONE HOUSING / RIVERSIDE shame on you.I got a call from a 0121 number (That one housing use) But it does nit allow you to call it back? GT8 Company now using fake 1 way phone numbers .I am still awsiting Healy tje so called Manager for Gas Safety check to get back to me. Unprofessional as still notjing .btw if I evsr see a One Housing or Swale Heating van in or on streets near me illegally parked on residents bays im calling traffic warden to ticket it asap with a PCN .Should be about to get a few dozen a week .So over £50.000 plus of fines .

Do not not phone Ask One Housing

I left my flat over a month ago. I got a text to say I owed them, which I don't, they owe me due to overcharging me in previous years. I tried to phone them, to find out why they thought I owed them money, but each time I chose option 3 to speak to someone, when I explained that I wanted to know why they thought I owed them money I was put through to the payments department, who are only able to take payments can't answer any queries. I tried this 2 times and each time was put through to the payments department. Waste of time speaking to Ask@onehousing, they should be called don't ask us@one housing, or we can put you through to the wrong department@one housing. absolutely useless.

Thoroughly incompetent

Thoroughly incompetent.

I have no heating. I rang last week - spending over 30 minutes waiting on the phone, and booked the next available appointment for this morning. No one turned up. When I rang earlier, I was told by a 'Customer Service agent' that the wrong booking had been made. I was assured that a manager called 'Aran' (?) would ring me but that they were currently in a meeting. The person I spoke to could not give me any information on when I would get a call or when my heating might be fixed. There was no apology either.
About an hour later I got a nameless text saying an 'agent' called Ben would be arriving 'shortly'. He hasn't turned up either. I'm currently on the phone again waiting to speak to someone and have been trying to do this for 35 minutes so far. If there is a 'shortage' of customer service advisers, then why don't they employ more staff?

Incompetent

I am about to lose the sale of my property because of non response to my solicitor's enquiry. The service is slow, incompetent, and indifferent. The only thing they do quickly is take money.

Disgraceful housing association to deal…

Disgraceful housing association to deal with! We had a massive water leak, and have black mold growing in the property a month in to the leak which they have ignored. New carpet and bathroom flooring damaged which they won't replace.

Front door is faulty and locks us in the house periodically, and they won't replace or fix this which a fire hazard as this is a main exit.

I've put complaints in but OVH are happy to keep taking rent money off me and continue with negligence to repair!!!

And before they write here in response "email mail is, we are happy to help" no your not I've put complaints in which OVH have ignored. I'm taking this to court after onbudsmans services.

Avoid these, they are cowboys!

Worst housing management company

They are the worst housing management company. The lifts of a 14 storey building was left unrepaired for almost 2 years leading to periodic breakdown of one or both the lifts. It caused immense pain for the residents, specially for people who are old, very young, or are having difficulty is climbing stairs. The company has pathetic work culture and have no respect for its customers.

Genuinely the worse company in the world!

Totally unable to deal with this company. They act like bullies to get payments for issues with their own systems and try putting you into default without proper notices. Sending letters that are undated and powering through without giving any contact details or any time to discuss open issues. They give 14 days notice but take 28 days to respond. The 14 days notice come which come at an end on the day you receive the letter and the letter itself is not dated. I don't understand how the government allows such firms to operate. I may now have to take them to court for such poor practices.

A Nightmare Experience: Avoid This Unreliable Company with Rude Staff

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with ONE HOUSING, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst encounters with a business I've ever had. From start to finish, it was an absolute nightmare, and I wouldn't wish this ordeal upon my worst enemy.

First and foremost, their staff displayed a level of rudeness that was shocking. It seemed as though they took pleasure in dismissing customers' concerns and disregarding their needs. Whenever I tried to get assistance or ask questions, they treated me with blatant disrespect, showing no regard for basic courtesy or professionalism.

But the appalling behavior of their staff was only one part of the problem. What's even worse is the company's complete unreliability. They made promises they couldn't keep, constantly missing deadlines and failing to deliver on their commitments. It was like they had no respect for their customers' time and just did whatever they pleased.

This company should be avoided at all costs

This is the Most horrible experience

This is the Most horrible experience I have ever had! One housing is making myself and my family live like slaves in a house we pay rent for!! the bathroom sink is leaking, the stand is separated from the sink, the kitchen sink is leaking, the cupboards are separated from one another!! really? Are we treated like humans at all? we work hard and need a place to relax after the long day's work.ALL OF THE THINGS THAT I MENTIONED ARE REPORTED OVER A MONTH AGO DO SOMETHING!!!

Can one housing group loose its contract for managing us residents? how can they be landlords? can the local authority take the stock In house? All I have to say is, keep up the formal complaints.

If anybody wants to come to One Housing, avoid them

If I could give them a review, I will give them a zero waiting for six months since last year November 22for the flat roof to be fixed. Got damp in my bedroom windows to be fixed. Today I was waiting for a pleasure to come in to fix the window at 5 o’clock I have to phone them to find out if anybody is turning up. May cancel the appointment on the second time this was done

Avoid like the plague

One of the worst building overseeing companies in existence. They are simply awful. There is real malice in the construction and aftercare of the new build properties they have made. I come from a new build house where there have been multiple problems since moving in. None of the appliances working. Fuses kept tripping. Holes and leaks. Poor quality walls and construction. Really poor 0/5 customer service where no one ever has a clue with what’s going on. Worst company ever. Avoid their houses like the plague.

CORRUPTION AND RADICAL EXPLOITATION - CARE?!

Close them down, they are appalling. I am in one of their so called 'care' homes for elderly, disabled people, including people with Dementia. They are not fit to run anything, certainly not anywhere requiring 'care' of any sort. Despite being a 15 storey building on London's Albert Embankment, they closed their reception last year and take no responsibility for postal items left in what was the reception area. For example flowers were left there for elderly, disabled residents on Mother's Day last weekend, they were still wilting in what used to be the reception area on Monday - staff do not care and 'management' is non-existent. The company constantly harasses their residents for monies, allegedly owed to a 'remote' meter which is not visible in the resident's flats. All residents suddenly received RED warning bills for £500 just after the government had announced that it was going to be paying the same amount to people on Housing Benefit etc - how convenient! Many of the residents at this 'care' facility are dependent on HB. Remember there are people here with Dementia, no family to support them and 'One Housing' is ALL ABOUT MONEY AND DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ITS 'CUSTOMERS', WHO ARE AMONG THE MOST VULNERABLE IN THE UK. Perhaps it is time for CARE to be known as CORRUPTION AND RADICAL EXPLOITATION of the most vulnerable in our community. Anyone can open a 'care' home, no qualifications are required.

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. I have rented a property that is managed by OH for over 3 years now and I dread to think the hours I have spent on hold to this company. They are so incapable of actioning anything successfully, their staff are rude and incompetent - that's if you are lucky enough to get through to one of them! I have spoken to alot in my time and I am yet to speak with anyone polite, helpful and diligent. I would NEVER purchase a property managed by OH as they will avoid responsibility, cost and efficiency at all costs.

Even one star is too much for OHG- Pathetic company

Even one star is too much for OHG. Pathetic company causing a lot of inconvenience to all the residents. They dont take responsibility of anything. No proper paperwork from their side. Service is pathetic, people are wrong and bad. Careless attitude from them. Do not buy any of their properties. Managers do not care and never to be seen.

I would give them no star if there was…

I would give them no star if there was an option.

We have lived here for 13 years and they drag their feet to do repairs in the communal area, which falls under their remit.

The lift was out of service for a long period and we we not given a refund.

They recently said that they have to recoup service charge, which had been understated by just over £400.00. The cost has been passed over to us.

We are paying for a service but they are not delivering. It is disgusting that they take our hard earned money and we get nothing in return.

I recently contacted them about an issue with noise nuisance and the advice was to talk to my neighbour. when in fact a few years ago they enlisted another Housing Association to put noise monitoring equipment in our home for over a week and the report stated that the noise was detrimental to our health.

One Housing promised to get an injunction but didn’t follow through.

Additionally they had retrospectively given the family permission when they were in breach of their tenancy agreement for laying laminate flooring. One Housing didn’t ensure that the underlay was of an acceptable standard.

They constantly fail us and we are not happy.
