I changed from another brand to this product and it’s made a brilliant difference to my mares comfort and as such her performance. Great product I never let it run out now!

Dettagli del prodotto
A powerful supplement which significantly supports hormones and regulates mood.
Also known as chaste berry, agnus castus is an aromatic shrub which has been used for centuries to manage hormone balance. Sometimes called the ‘female herb’ it has proved very effective when fed to mares during their season. While mainly associated with mares, agnus castus has also been used to maintain hormonal equilibrium in highly-strung stallions as well.
Agnus Castus is effective for both male and female horses for the following reasons:
Hormones fluctuate on a regular basis. Mares in particular experience a change prior to or during a season which can cause irritability, aggression and make activities such as riding or showing difficult. Agnus castus has been found to help sustain a healthy hormone balance, leading to more relaxed and agreeable horses.
Agnus castus is also linked to supporting a healthy pituitary gland and endocrine system. This allows horses to healthily self-regulate their metabolism, growth, reproductive system and response to stress.
While known primarily for managing hormones, agnus castus is also a power antioxidant, containing compounds which ease stress and low mood.
Developed in the UK, Omega Equine sources the highest quality agnus castus to ensure that its product is pure and safe for consumption. Highly palatable, this incredible ingredient is an essential dietary addition to keep horses happy and balanced, no matter the season.

I’ve been using Angus Castus powder for 5 weeks now and I’ve really noticed a difference. My mare is much more settled around the time of her season. I’ll definitely continue to supplement her with this.

A great quality product. You need to hold your nerve and keep using it. My mare is definitely benefitting from having it. There are no instructions to advise whether to start and initial loading dose, which would've been helpful. I just introduced it gradually and she's happily eating it. I'll definitely be ordering this regularly from Omega Equine, the delivery was really quick!

Sadly no measuring spoon in the refil bag, at least I assume it is a refil bag. Product is tasty for a fussy horse although I am not sure if I am feeding enoughh

Thank you Amanda for taking the time to share your feedback on our Agnus Castus. We do not routinely include scoops in any of our 'straights' products, due to the broad recommended feeding rates. This helps to keep costs down for our customers and reduces plastic waste. We would recommend utilising an existing scoop or other small container, weighing out your chosen amount of Agnus Castus and using a pen to mark where you should fill to each time. If you don't have access to a scoop, we could send you one free of charge on your next order with us.
We are pleased to hear that your horse has found our Agnus Castus to be palatable and hope that you are seeing good results.
We would be more than happy to advise on an appropriate amount to feed if you would like to get in touch with us via phone or email and provide some information on your horse, as we appreciate that they are all individuals. We look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes from Team Omega.

Would prefer it not being in a plastic bag but luckily had a tub I could decant it into. Fussy eater can on occasions detect it in his feed as it can clump so does need to be well mixed in. Have seen improvements in all horses on it though, 2 mares and 1 gelding.
