Eglee in the Guildford store was very helpful when I was choosing and changing my mind with cushions. She saw me eyeing up the screen and offered me 10% off if I bought it that day which I did. I was happy and I think she was too. Great service and quick thinking on her part made me a happy customer and I am so glad I bought the screen. I think this was actually back in May as opposed to the date below.

A lovely store with great staff.I was assisted by Nicky who was really thoughtful. She enquired if I needed help and checked stock availability online and in other stores on my behalf, without me needing to ask. . She struck the right balance of being knowledgeable about OKA products, listening to the customer and being genuinely helpful. A great experience and I’d recommend this store., I’m very happy with my purchases and the experience.

Love my lampshades which I recently…
Love my lampshades which I recently ordered online. I tried to call the Branch to order as had a couple of queries but the staff member was rather vague and not very helpful.
This is a shame as on my previous visit to the store the different member of staff I talked with on that occasion was over and above helpful. The reason I didn’t buy them then was that the larger one wasn’t available in store.

I have so many Oka items in my house…
I have so many Oka items in my house including chairs, a desk, bookcase, 8 lamps, 17 cushions and 3 bed throws as well as the set of palm prints, bird prints and a set of lemon prints plus2 gustavian side tables and a mirror. Some were purchased at the Godstone outlet while others were purchased at Chelsea and Guildford stores.
After moving house I decided to clean my lounge cushions by hand washing them as per the instructions and the colour faded in 2 of them. I returned these to the Guildford store where the manager said she would exchange them for me. My husband and I spent some time trying to match colours in a new pair of cushions to the existing ones that were not faded only to find when we got to the till that the manager then wanted to charge us full price!
Eventually, she agreed to give us 15% off after leading us to believe she was exchanging the faulty ones for a new pair. Sadly the faulty ones were discontinued.
The manager were then said that I hadn’t bought anything since 2020 which is simply not true as I had bought lamps, the 2 side tables, bed throw and cushions in August- December 2024 for a spare bedroom. I distinctly remember collecting the lamps and side tables from Guildford!
As a long standing customer of oka I expected rather more goodwill when your cushions faded despite the cleaning instructions

Having reviewed this further, we understand that the cushion covers brought into store were from a discontinued range and that proof of purchase was not available. Due to the time that appears to have passed, we were unable to offer an exchange or refund on this occasion.
As a gesture of goodwill, the store team spent time helping you select alternative cushions and applied a 15% discount to your purchase. We are sorry that this did not meet your expectations.

Exceptional service from Nicky at the Guildford store. I was looking for cushions for my sofa and was struggling to find the right ones. Nicky took the time to listen to what I was looking for and came up with some excellent suggestions.

Oka provide customer service with a difference, first class.
Oka provide excellent customer service with a difference. The staff are first class and go over and above to assist customers with any product queries and advice. This helps the customer when purchasing items. Had i have not spoken with Nicky from the Guildford store I would not have made a purchase so this also helped OKA with their sales. It has been a pleasure shopping with the OKA Guildford store. i have not experienced this type of customer service since pre covid years.

Beautiful lampshade and lovely service
A lampshade I was looking to purchase was not available online and so I rang up the store in Guilford and the staff was so helpful in both finding the product in-store and shipping it to my home address. Really professional, helpful and timely service.
Two feedback I'd give is that the parcel tracking information was not user-friendly. The link in the email did not work and I had to mail customer care who shared the DPD Tracking number. If the DPD Tracking number is shared as soon as available via email in addition to a tracking link that would be helpful
Also the OKA tape used to wrap up the packaging was really difficult to get off. If a more sustainable and good quality alternative is used that'll help make it easier to recycle the cardboard box and packaging material after.

Garden furniture review
The display of the items we were interested in was set out really well. Staff all friendly and Andrea who helped us was excellent. Gave us time to choose and helped us decide which outdoor sofa to buy and just generally all round lovely experience in store.

Oka Guildford Review
I purchased a set for my garden v recently from Oka In Guildford. I was helped by Nicky and she took time to make sure my order was taken correctly, going the extra mile re delivery and sourcing from another store. After sale was just as good as Nicky emailed me to check I was happy with everything. Nothing was too much trouble! The products are perfect for our garden… Thank you Oka.
