Just to clarify once more, for OhmHours you will generally be notified a day ahead and again right before the event starts. For AutoOhms, notifications are typically shorter-notice because AutoOhms happens when the grid is unexpectedly stressed. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

It's so difficult to add devices and when we got our OHM plug and used it for the recommend larger appliances like a fridge the connection went out without is knowing and our whole fridge/freezer items spoiled.

I like the idea and more ways to improve
I like the idea. But oh connect could be smarter about giving credits to people who are already top energy savers. The current algorithm seems to only count individuals historical record. It probably works well for average Americans, it's giving top energy savers negative impact. Because when weather hits and we need energy to stay warm inside and there's no other places to cut. Btw We believe we are as the consultant who did solar installation for us said he's never seen bills like this after decades in business. How about giving these people some credits even if the energy usage stay flat?

The referral compensation is fraud …
The referral compensation is fraud i was only issued $10 after recieving a invitaion for $20 i contacted customer service to they are non existant if a person has to wat weeks to be compensated $10 what am i really doing associating with this type of company!!!!

Hi Tracy, happy to clarify our referral program a bit! Our referral offer looks a bit different every month as we work to provide fun and exciting new offers to our members. In order to receive a specific referral bonus, members will need to refer their friend during a certain time period, and their friend will need to become enrolled with us during that time period as well. If enrolled at a later time, there is a possibility that the referral will receive a different bonus if time period requirements are not met. Along with this, we've been in communication and had let you know that our referral system will automatically flag referrals for unusual activity. When this happens, it delays the enrollment process a bit longer as our team works to try validating your account manually. Please reach back out if you have any further questions or concerns.

While we're not sure what you're referring to when you mention that we didn't check if you qualify, there are some things to be aware of when going through the OhmConnect enrollment process. If you're referring to qualifying for the program itself, you are eligible if you live in California (PG&E, SCE, or SDG&E customers), New York (ConEd customers), or Texas (folks with an active OhmConnect retail energy account), and are not currently enrolled in another Demand Response Program. However, if you are enrolled in another Demand Response Program and would still like to join OhmConnect, we have a great team dedicated to helping folks through that process. If you are referencing a promotional offer, the requirements for each offer vary based on a variety of factors, so we always recommend reaching out to our team if you have questions regarding that. We're sad to see you go, and if you'd like to try signing up again, we'd be happy to assist you with that process. All the best!
