There was no information on energy saved. There was no "money" earned.

It's very easy to do
It's very easy to do, you get an alert on your cell or email or both, telling what time the event is happening. It always seems to be in the evening, which can be difficult sometimes because of cooking evening meals. I can't always fit it in due to cooking, but I try to unplug everything that isn't in use to help on those night.

Monday Nov 21 I was to receive $650.00 in referral cash bonuses for that week to PayPal. I logged into OHM to send my $650.00 to PayPal, it initiated along with a notification to look for an email from PayPal. Which usually takes a few minutes. Well, it never came, I even called and PayPal who informed me nothing had been received. So, I emailed OHM CONNECT to learn they did not release it but withheld it without my knowledge. Another day went by, and so I emailed them to check the status? I was then informed that they were awaiting my W-9 that had been turned into them 3 weeks earlier to process. It has now been a week and i yet to receive my 650.00. I have contacted OHM CONNECT every day this last week only to receive the same reply email stating someone will contact me 1-3 days. I actually worked very hard referring customers. Furthermore, I referred so many customers I produced more money in my balance $183.00 in total for this week. OHM IS BAD FOR BUSINESS, It's full of wealthy individuals who can't see or understand the poorer or less fortunate in societies view. Which makes in my opinion them the less knowledgeable, I have submitted several complaints to them, and It doesn't matter if your argument lays out a solid foundation based on logical points. All you can expect to get back from them is an email they have no way to talk to a human All contact is by email so getting a hold of anyone is non-existent
It's really such a shame as the Business had so much potential. OHM CONNECT has displayed countless signs of Ineffective marketing and has proven many times to ignore customers' needs. All Employees are Incompetent. They have no core values, their Lack of communication is a solid indicator that a company has a toxic culture. When they chose not to informing me, they withheld my redeemed balance. WORST PART I have uncovered, OHM CONNECT ARE LIARS!! American history is replete with cautionary tales about the importance of telling the truth. And one way companies gain an advantage over their competitors, and also their consumers, is by lying OHM needs to know The rules regarding lying in business in the U.S. are currently being vigorously enforced. And they did, in fact, lie about my W-9 being the reason they withheld my payout to PayPal. I cashed out this morning November 28, 2022 $183.00 directly to my PayPal within minutes. Just like I did every other week before. But not last week, when I made the highest payout I ever made. OHM REFERRAL PROGRAM IS A WASTE IF YOU PARTICIPATE BUY YOURSELF SOME TYLENOL FOR THE HEADACHE YOU WILL ENDURE, better yet Spend YOUR TIME Elsewhere WHERE IT ACTUALLY MAKES SENSE OR CENTS.

First off, we’d like to thank you for communicating with us and taking interest in saving energy with us.
As mentioned previously in our communications, the W9 validation does only typically take a couple of days. However, when forms are received with mismatched information, this process can take longer as this extends the authentication procedure.
Along with this, we had also mentioned that our referral system has security measures put in place, and will automatically flag referrals when certain conditions are met, or when unusual activity is detected.
In order to make sure our members receive their due credit, our fraud department then needs to manually certify these referrals. Our fraud department does everything they can to expedite this process, and as we’ve previously communicated with you, manually approving these referrals may take longer due to these extra security measures.
With the above in mind, please know our team is happy to report that your cashouts will be released and referrals will be credited!
If you have any further inquiries regarding your cashout, please don’t hesitate to reach out further.
I was switched to Ohm Connect without…
I was switched to Ohm Connect without my permission on October 17th. They were notified about this issue almost immediately. One month later they have been unwilling and unable to switch me back to my right provider. This is extremely disappointing and completely wrong 😑
Also when inquiring about the discounted night rates, they told me that my home is ineligible as it doesn’t have a smart meter, which once again is incorrect. My home DOES HAVE a smart meter.

I just don’t understand your system. I live in an 1800 sf home with my little Yorkie and conserve everything. Yet I always get rated at wasting energy.

If they really want customers to conserve energy then they should offer a lower rate per kwh for use below 1,000 kWh, and not just offer some gimmick to reduce use for specific time periods

One of the goals of OhmConnect is to help reduce strain on the energy grid during peak times, which is why we have OhmHours and AutoOhms. Those events align with the times the grid is particularly stressed, so we ask our members to reduce energy to prevent blackouts or the use of harmful and expensive-to-operate peaker plants. Good program
Good program. However on days we are gone for 24 hrs with no inside electrical being used, we don’t beat our baseline. We don’t understand that.

It's just too difficult to earn Ohm points, especially in the fall/winter when we aren't really consuming much electricity anyway. We turned off several lights during the last Ohmhour (which are far and few between nowadays) and only received about 200 points. Given that we'd need at least 8,000 for a $10 gift card that's not very motivating.

Cool idea, but feels a little deceptive
I like the idea of incentivize users to conserve energy. However, it is unclear how exactly it is done. The amount of energy “saved” is never consistent. Also, the penalty for using “more” energy is significantly higher than saving (e.g. saving energy, you can earn 250 points. But a penalty event, you lose 550-600 points.) Plus, it is unclear that you would lose energy.
