Well at the Dundalk branch why has the waiting area been removed, some of us walk here others need to be seated. Especially after standing in line for more then a hour! And the tv's having been working in about a month, how are we supposed to show support when we are not getting any, the way things are going has me thinking this location will be closing soon? And now myself and im sure others are thinking about other options. And these actions bring unwanted aggression towards the staff and other customers. Please let's get this corrected ASAP!!!!!!

I was in and out in timely matter and when I sat in chair Mrs Kita came over and was very polite and friendly. She is great every time I come in whether she helps me or not she always speaks and ask how I’m doing and I notice not only just me she speaks and acknowledges everyone she can. She is an exceptional employee need more like her

I think they are doing a amazing job and the workers are all very welcoming and friendly! And not to bad to look at all which makes the experience much more enjoyable. They always make me feel comfortable and welcomed everytime I went. They are so nice you might mistake their friendliness with flirting like i did a couple times. Lol but I recommend them with a 5 star rating

Potential Donors-please be aware of the public misjustice this company practices on a daily basis towards retuning donors. Mon . through Sun. return and new donors line up outside in the parking lot adjacent to the donation facility at about 5:00 am. Donors line up until 7:00 am in order to beat the crowds and be permitted after screening to donate. Administration at the Van Nuys, Ca. location is permitting only two nurses to screen new and returning donors instead of the normal four screening nurses because of a new policy which Octapharma Plasma adheres to. This would permit donors to stand in line for up to 2-3 hours before getting screened in order to donate. Based on the amount of potential and returning donors, a ticket/appointment scheduling like all the other donation company's adhere to would alleviate any lines from forming. You can schedule through your app, confirm your appointment, and walk up to the screening window prior to donating. However, Octapharma Administration would rather not be bothered during the day and allow new and retuning donors to stand outside in the heat, and/or in frigid cold weather. This makes absolutely no sense but it tells you one thing. How much Octapharma really cares about you and your health. Do yourself a favor, do not subject yourself to this misjustice and donate elsewhere until a scheduling system is implemented.

Ridiculous as an expresss donor how long you have to wait and we’re told to be patient while they train qualified phlebotomists. It’s been months!!!

I have been going to this center to donate plasma and it is horrible how long the staff makes people wait in line. The only have 2 people doing the pre-screening and they take their time and chat among them while the line keeps getting longer. They can easily have 3 people doing screenings instead of 2. No regards for people’s time. Corporate should do something about this.

Unprofessional behavior, malpractice & forgery/lying on official document forcing permanent deferral of services of US Veteran due to an episode of feeling light-headed but not passing out; just a dizzy spell from standing up quickly in the heat of Wichita, KS. Incorrect information recorded after episode about my UNSPECIFIED Behavior and not informed of possible deferral from denying care, yet the technician made it clear that his staff would be reprimanded if he didn't take my blood pressure, to which i obliged politely, twice due to an Incorrect procedure by the staff member. Little concern for the patient and only for staff-- double standard and bias by manager on duty...told to not talk to staff about the staff member lying on record. Punished for false reasons. Playing by the book for their own benefit.

I came in as a 1st time donar they were having a hard time loading the money on my card I had to keep going back and the staff was not interested in helping me at Hyattsville. So I donated never got paid and will never go back.

What a piece of crap place! I was supposed to donate plasma today and after the screening which I passed there is a glitch in the computer that says I cannot donate today because supposedly I already donated. First of all I donated on Monday and today is Thursday and if it was not my donation date I could not have even completed the questionnaire that is required before the screening. Then the screener calls the manager on duty and the guy is a total moron who could not fix whatever glitch their system was having and now I have to wait until next Monday to attempt to donate again because for some reason the system thinks I donated today even though it did not allow me to donate today. No apology whatsoever! I mean they should have paid me because this was an issue at their end, not at my end. I donate at the North Fort Myers location and the stupid manager's name is Miguel. If I did not need the money I would totally stop donating but when you are poor you have no choice but to continue putting up with this bullshit!

Extremely short handed. Maybe one or 2 people on the floor so they only have 1 bay available. Workers are friendly but move at their own pace. (Can't blame them). I seen where only 1 person was on the floor and nobody on the front desks. All others on Break. Management has no clue how to make it efficient.

One of the best things about octapharma is that they have a great staff that loves to laugh and have fun and at the same time take care of business

When you get on first name basis with ppl Thats how you know yall have a relationship
And it’s nice to know that it’s folks that expect to see you every week and you are expecting them at the same time

To OctaPharma Corporate:

You should be relaying my message to your leadership instead of passing the responsibility to your branch because the branches DO NOT make policy. YOUR LEADERSHIP should reconsider this UNFAIR policy of PENALIZING RETURNING DONORS. I'm sure I'm not the ONLY one that was downgraded from Tier 3 level payout DOWN to Tier 1 $40 payout just because I returned after 2 months from a work project. So, branches have ARBITRARY DEFAULT policy to PENALIZE returning donors - does not make sense, no logical reason why the company has that policy.

I live an hour away. Called and can never talk to a person. I’d been before but it had been a year. Was told even though I’d already watched the videos and all that I’d have to do it again. Which would take 3 hours. If a person would answer the phone I’d known that BEFORE the hour drive……

The worst plasma center. I came in at 12:00 , only 4 people in line and didn't get to the back until 1:30. A hour and a half to get to the back. And still have to wait to be called. Staff members just walk around, talking, it's the donors that are making them money, they need to be more attentive. By far the worst plasma center ever. I would suggest csl or preosis in Raleigh.

After rough starts with being rejected for high protein and having to rewatch long videos, i was able to donate several times for less money each time which is sad. The app speeds up the questionnaire before donating but now there are so few staff that there is always a 1 hour wait after my scheduled appointment time. I really do not feel like spending 2 hours or more;(if the process gets screwed up, which it has), just to make $50. Hire more employees and make more money. It really is confusing to me how these greedy executives can't figure out the basics of business. Good luck to you Octa

Got deferred for low protein (5.7) at Octapharma Plasma. No clear explanation was given other than “don’t keep donating,” which doesn’t make sense when you rely on donations for income.

If frequent donating causes low protein, there should be clearer guidance upfront on how to prevent repeated deferrals instead of leaving donors stuck in a cycle of failing screenings.

Overall, the process feels inconsistent and poorly communicated.

So I’ve been going to octapharma in Pasadena Texas for about a year now. When I first started going there it was a great experience suddenly the machines started acting up while returning my blood. At first one of the phlebotomist would come tap the filter on the machine and I’d be happily receiving my return. Although frustrating having to wait for an attendant to come fix it I could live with that. Today when the machine of course did it again…which by the way they said is to much fat in my blood…I didn’t eat the day before or the day of this time…so anyway…I was told I would have to sit there for an hour and watch the machine do nothing before they would come and fix it…MORAL OF THE STORY…. You might wanna try somebody with better machines…my food intake has never changed in my life and I never had this happen before…unless you just like to donate all day of your life to their crappy machines!!!!

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love the short wait times makes for a pleasant experience

I’ve had an excellent experience at my Sf Bay Area location. Clean , professional, kind staff, clear instructions, no long lines, good pay and perks. The business is efficient and welcoming.

The lines are way to long some of the people who work there they take their time like even when they are just sitting around and just talking they are rude when you ask questions
