app constantly crashes

app constantly crashes. Two different account holders can't use the same pc even with different pc logins. My father uses it fine I had to use a different pc. Tech support wouldn't log me in after i gave them the log in details verbally over the phone. using a different pc can view my account but touch any button and I'm automatically logged out.

Wesbite not great

The wesbite is terrible - I always have issues with being logged out, getting a message saying this happened because I pressed the back button, which I never have. This happens frequently despite me trying using several different browsers and devices, and clearing cache/cookies before trying. Very frustrating.

They take months to deal with anything

I am the executor of my late father's estate. I have been trying to get NS&I to transfer the money from his accounts to the NS&I accounts of my mother (his widow) since March. I have written to them 4 times and 4 months later they have still done nothing. When I telephone them they give the excuse that they have a 3 months backlog in dealing with correspondence and cannot go any faster. They seem to have no qualms about withholding money from an 86 old woman

Bereavement claim - Too stressful

NS&I have thousand's of families waiting for money and associated premium bond prizes who have already presented all documentation to them.

NS&I state they are working through a huge back log of claims in date order. The long delays are due to a system upgrade resulting in NS&I not returning all holdings to the bereaved going back years.

I am thoroughly stuck right at the point of bereavement feeling like I cannot make the relevant decisions for the future because my money is being withheld and my choices for that money and my life on hold. Financial loss thus far because I cannot access that money is enormous but I will never receive the relevant compensation for that loss from NS&I.

This has been too stressful more so because NS&I customer service have previously used the guilt line on me about others being in hardship who are also waiting for money but that wouldn’t really matter to me when I have chased them for a release date.

I guess we will all have to wait. NS&I will release our money at their leisure regardless of the consequences to investors because of the delays

Shambolic AI slop company

Further to my previous review, and like many recent one-star reviews for this shambolic company, their customer service is beyond useless.
I have been trying to close my late mother's account for several months. I have filled in their forms, and they stated in their letter in April that they would finally close the account. Three months later, they still haven't done it, so I raised a complaint. However this is just more frustration, as they just send a stream of useless responses and they still can't find someone to just sit down and close the account.
This is wasting a colossal amount of my time.
Perhaps the company is AI infected, or perhaps a combination of AI and incompetent staff, who knows.

not happy with the service

update after reading this NS & I got their act together and this morning paid out, so I have changed my review to 3 stars
original complaint below which carried a one star

my husband passed away in February. I sent a letter with all of the details to NS & I. I enclosed the death certificate and will they sent a letter back to me with the death certificate and will and said that they would make their decision later after that I waited eight weeks. I looked on their website and it stated that they were taking longer than normal to get this sorted out . another two weeks later I got a letter with a claim form that I had to refill all of the details and send it back to them. That was six weeks ago. I still haven’t been paid out my husband‘s premium bonds which were under £500. I find this quite shocking and untrustworthy.

Shocking experience

Shocking experience, tried to open an account online, waited 2 weeks for things to happen, then telephoned and was told there's a backlog and it would take longer. After a month contacted them again by phone, the operator set up my account, password etc etc, paid over the money, couldn't log in, received two letters, one addressed incorrectly, what a joke couldn't get my name right, don't bother and asked for my money back!!! GRRRRRRRR

Keep being thrown out of NS&I website.

Keep being thrown out of NS&I website.
Previously had problems with website, raised a complaint, but nothing was done about it.
Lots of 'invited' Reviews to offset the true reviews of poor performance, which would show company does not care or treat its customers with decency.
