Having found out about the government scheme to replace old boilers for free if you met certain criteria I contacted a company in Essex as they were close to the county I live in. That company then arranged for NRS to contact me with a view of doing a survey.
A few days later the chap turned up and confirmed out old Baxi boiler qualified for replacement and after some measuring up informed me that I should expect a call to arrange a date for the work to be done. later that day I received the call and a day was agreed.
By mid-day there was no sign of the engineers, and just before I was going to make a call to the office my phone rang and I was informed that the van had broken down and the appointment was rescheduled for the following Monday.
On that day the guys turned up around 11.30am.. It turns out that they had travelled form Birmingham to do the work, which is a good 2-3 hour journey, which explained the late start.
The chap that was doing the plumbing work agreed that the original location suggested (in the kitchen) was not suitable, nor was the location of the old boiler, so he agreed with me that the best location was to be in the airing cupboard where all the old tanks etc were. This ment they had to get a new flue to exit through the roof, but that didn't hold up the installation.
Yes they do remove everything and take it away with them. But when I stated the shower pump and circulation pumps were less than 12 months old and I wanted them they handed them back. The old boiler, tanks and hot water cylinder were all taken away. Other chaps went round and changed the radiator valves, and another bricked up the hole in the wall where the old boiler flue exited.
The actual installation was very neat and the pipework well thought out. My only complaint was that given the travelling and late start they were still drilling and hammering well past 8pm which didn't go down well with the neighbours.
By 9pm everything was fitted and working just fine. No leaks, everything left neat and tidy. One chap even brought the vacuum cleaner up to do the final touches. By 9.15 all the paperwork was done and they all departed with a 2 hour + journey home.
I'm not sure if NRS use different contractors to cover different areas, but I can't fault the team form Birmingham. The only disappointment was that the Bosch Worcester 4000 boiler won't heat the hot water past 60c, and we used to run our old system at 70c as the bath takes a bit of the heat out of the water. But we had no leaks, no nasty mess, and treated me and the house with respect.
Based on my experience I've given them a 4 star review. I deducted 1 star due to the need to apologise the next day to our neighbours for the late drilling and hammering as they retire fairly early at nights. But for them to arrive at 8am would probably mean they would need to set off at 5am!

I recently had my boiler replaced by NRS Eco Ltd, and I’m very impressed with their service. The team was highly professional and took care of everything efficiently. They guided me through the whole process and made sure everything was properly handed over at the end. Communication was clear and consistent throughout the job. A special mention to Shahmir from the office, who went above and beyond to ensure I received prompt and smooth service. Highly recommend them!

Boiler installed - in one day - dates recoded on paperwork were future dated by 3 days! Removed items from property without permission - cylinder, power shower pump and central heating pump - when raised with NRS told they had to recycle everything they removed. Why then did they leave the boiler on the drive? Left with leaking bathroom taps, taps in kitchen sounding like a tank when turned on, electric shower broke 2 days after installation, condensate outside pipe leaked resulting in internal damage, power shower no longer functions as not compatible with new boiler. Water not hot and the list goes on….
They had to come back after an inspection of the work by Gas Safe
We were not given any advice prior to installation of potential issues - would never had gone ahead.
Over a year and a half later still fighting to rectify!
DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY NEAR YOUR PROPERTY .

We reiterate, yet again, in response to feeble excuses being made and inaccurate surmising of facts. There has NEVER been any major water leak from - what you've described as ' these old pipes with no gurantees' !?- "these" are solid soldered copper pipes which have existed perfectly without any issue. These exist in the majority of properties here. Never in all our time have we experienced any such "burst pipes" incident to date in the last twenty years of residing in our home. That is until exactly 18months ago since your company's involvement and the 'incompetent handiwork' from 'members' hired by you and your team had entered our home to install and fit pipework with faulty connectors which were 'Not' fitted to correct standards of requirement. A second burst pipe incident occurred resulting in extensive damages within a 2 year period due to work carried out for an installation to replace a 'Govt. Scheme' funded boiler - which are commonly fitted by many other gas installation engineers who then also reassure their customers by checking, assessing their work for safety and competency.
No we are 'Not Satisfied' as we're staring at the 'hole in our ceiling' in the living room and there's still no rectification for damages caused being appropriately addressed or honoured.
You and your team members do not and/have not responded to our emails or calls made at NRS Eco Ltd - except
here in public view.
We've noted other such similar incidents followed by a lack of communication for retification/acknowledgement or action taken on your part to repair property damages and to address such issues.
Simply put our daily home life and undue stress this has caused 'again' is unacceptable.
It's deplorable "getting away with it" behaviour for a Govt. funded business which should be regulated and reviewed continuesly by such Govt. authorities for its quality of performance and integrity of service to all of its customers.
We are extremely happy with the service we received. The work was carried out to a high standard and there was very little mess to clean up afterwards. The team worked so hard all day to finish on time and were very polite and friendly.

Terrible experience, my advice is stay away. New boiler installed by NRSECO in Feb via Gov Grant due to daughter’s severe disabilities. Boiler pump running constantly since they left even when no heating is switched on. Pump is noisy, keeps us awake at night. I have to isolate boiler at electric mains switch to get some sleep every night. Boiler does not work properly; system is full of air which we cannot stop happening no matter if we bleed towel rails and rads 20 x a day. Boiler is noisy and barely gets water to lukewarm after 4 hours.
I spoke to Bosch technical who came out next day and checked boiler – no fault on boiler – they say its installation error, probably wiring.
Boiler was supposed to be fitted into the kitchen cupboard previous boiler was hidden in, but they couldn’t be bothered to cut a new flue pipe outlet higher where it needed to be to hide it, so used the old one so now the new boiler sits too low and hangs below the cupboard in an unsightly manor and they just sawed through the cupboard and plinths to bodge the cupboard to fit around it.
“Smart” Rad valves fitted everywhere, absolutely useless, my daughter’s bedroom one won’t turn rad on, and another room not used is like a sauna even thou valve is switched off. Noisy and not doing what they claim at all.
Vents for air flow in bathrooms not placed where I specified, in the kitchen they cut 2 huge holes in the wall and just left one incomplete damaging the surrounding décor. They wrenched off the kickboards causing considerable damage, ran the unsightly condensing pipe around the outside perimeter of my house although I had instructed them to put it internally through the kitchen cupboards and connect to the sink drainpipe instead.
Drilled a large hole in outside wall to check wall insulation and left it, so then I had bees nesting n it in the summer!
Reported boiler not working properly next day (Feb) to NRSECO, no response at all, repeatedly called and email over next week without any response.
Logged it as a complaint with Trust Mark in Feb, which appeared to get lost, then on chasing was told to contact NRSECO’s regulatory body, Simply Certification which I did 4 months ago and we are STILL waiting for them to come and inspect……
Meanwhile, we still don’t have a working system

Took out our old water tank and replaced with a new eco combi boiler, highly recommended, did a fantastic job and left the house tidy. Already recommended to friends and family

I think this company is appalling , all fake reviews , they destroyed my kitchen putting a boiler on the wall , it cost my £850 to put right , they compensated me £300 if you use this company your crazy , stay well away from this company , they don’t explain they lied as to how they were putting up new boiler , and did something completely different , they do not speak good English , and left a total mess of my home , this company needs to be stopped do not use !!!!! Warning ‼️ can’t remember exact date , they keep removing this and using friends to give a good review , do not go near this company , I did a previous true review they asked for it to be taken down so here’s another one !!!!!! Scammers by the way whatever you say I don’t care , you put the boiler in the wrong situation , instead of lowering it , you gave me 4ft pipes all up the wall , you left my home in a disgusting state , safe heat can only do issues with the pipe you put outside instead of inside the house under the sink ,you burnt a hole on the down pipe with a lighter , to put the pipe outside ,onto the down pipe , the pipe you put through my wall was meant to be in the house , call yourself gas engineers your company is a joke and should be shut down , trading standards will be investigating your company , you should be shut down before you blow someone’s house up or kill someone the gas safe engineers said you put that boiler up badly, but they are only to look at wrong dangerous problems not cosmetic , he said let’s give them a bit of hassle as that pipe needs to be moved to inside the house , I did not want your scruffy engineers in my house , I had to pay £850 to put the boiler right , the proper engineer had to take it off the wall and redo it , and you gave me £300 towards it ???? Your a joke company , say what you like , public should not let you near their boilers that’s for sure !!!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would, avoid this company I have had nothing but trouble with them. They fitted a boiler through the eco4 scheme , totally rushed the work , made a mess of my flu, even asked if I had a brick hanging about they could use ! Left me without gas in my cooker and no heating . After numerous complaints, emails, telephone calls , a complaint to Gas safe they are still choosing to ignore me.
Shouldn’t be allowed to run a business because they don’t know what they are doing!

We had an excellent experience with NRS Eco! From start to finish, their team was highly professional, friendly, and well-equipped. The engineers who handled our loft insulation and boiler installation worked neatly and efficiently, leaving everything tidy. Their attention to detail and expertise really stood out. Absolute rubbish. They cut away the gasket that sealed my windows to fit vents. I asked them not to fit vents but they said they don’t get paid if vents are not fitted. I now have noice & chronic draught where gasket seal was removed.

Wow.fitted vents to windows.just the inside.no air coming in as its just screwd to inside of sash.i asked him to explane how that works then ?after him trying to convince me there was a draugh coming threw.he stopt talking after i told him ime a double glazing fittet for 41 years.also fitted a fan above the bath ,wich thay glued on with glue and activator .wich is coming away.as for the loft instalation is just layed on top of old.i found the electric junction box burryed under loft insterlation.reminded me of the yts sceam in the 80s.very dangerous fan.and will be geting it checked in morning.i know its free but i rather my 14 year old son done it.

Avoid NRS ECO LTD at all costs!! They will destroy your home then fob you off for weeks when you ask them to resolve their mistakes. They arrived at my property at 11.10am where I was told they were only fitting a boiler. They fitted it too low hanging out of my fitted kitchen cupboard. Next thing I know 8 people turned up to fit loft insulation at the same time. They used NO protective coverings on my floorings. They BURNED 3 of my carpets, they left rust marks on carpets from where they left leaving vlaves after fitting TRVs, they left holes in the walls where they used incorrect drill bits and failed to have any respect at all for my home. They have had someone else sign my name on their documents and have committed fraud. They did not have a clue what they were doing. Only one person out of 8 spoke English. They incorrectly fitted vents to 4 of my dpuble glazed windows which are now destroyed wont close and are letting draught and noise in. They did not leave my property until 11pm at night as they could not stop a radistor from leaking. When you try to contact them, they fob you off and ignore you. They sent an inspector who on first visit failed to show up. On the second visit he took photos of the problems, I still await their report from 7 days ago......I am now seeking legal advice and I suggest everybody else who has been ripped off to do the same....Avoid like the plague.......
