Formally filed a complaint with California Department of insurance
Horrible, the service is terrible, the person on customer service is not informed and very dismissive. They don’t get back to you, the automated service is fraudulent. I can’t wait to report them to the California lawyer department!
LOL at the response, just as useless as the service. I’ve never even made it past the customer service rep. As soon as this is resolved, I’m cancelling and never looking back!! Two thumbs down, do not recommend couldn’t even spell my name right!!! Clowns!
UPDATE 7/27: NOW Insurance emailed me a generic apology acknowledging their 2-week delay, but their claims team is still stalling. I have officially paid out-of-pocket to retain my own defense counsel to protect my CA nursing license because NOW Insurance failed to act. I have emailed and uploaded my paid receipts, but I am only getting automated generic responses. I need a Claims Manager to contact me directly tomorrow with a reimbursement authorization."
FINAL UPDATE 7/30: After posting my previous review, NOW Insurance emailed a formal apology promising their claim handler would review my file by 7/28. That deadline has passed, and they have gone completely silent again, ignoring all my portal uploads and emails. I have paid thousands out of pocket for my own defense attorney because they abandoned me. I am filing a formal emergency complaint with the California Department of Insurance today for bad faith claims handling."
