Because i specifically said in my email what i needed done. My email was halfway read so the resolution was incorrect! Now i must spend twice as much time by re-requesting the same resolution as before... putting me further behind and causing me more work.... very frustrating

We want to reassure you that we fully understood what you were requesting. The additional step was simply part of our standard procedure. Since the automatic renewal on your policy had previously been stopped, we needed to reactivate the renewal feature in order to process your request. As part of that process, we also needed confirmation that you wanted to proceed with the renewal and authorized us to use the payment method on file.
We have this step in place to ensure our customers are aware of and comfortable with any charge being made using their payment information on file.
We apologize if this process was not clearly communicated and caused any confusion. We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify what occurred.
