Amazing AI resume builder that is very easy to use

Great experience helping my daughter build her first resume
I used Novoresume as an online resume builder to help my 15-year-old put together her very first resume, and it was a really good experience. waste of time
They just try to lure you into using their website, but later you’re forced to pay even to download the CV you already designed. It feels misleading and like a waste of time. The platform gives the impression that the service is free at first, only to lock important features behind a paywall at the end. Even if we use only the basic elements in our resume, after few days the download option becomes premium mentioning the basic period is expired.

There is no hidden paywall that appears only at the download step. There is no option for a true one-time purchase, unlike other similar websites that offer short-term access (for example, 7 days) at a reasonable price.
Instead, you are effectively forced to pay for at least a full month if you want to use Premium features. It doesn’t matter whether you need the service for a few hours or a couple of days — the minimum cost is still a monthly plan. For people who just need to create or update a resume once in a while, this is clearly excessive.
What makes this more frustrating is the user experience. You invest time creating and refining your resume, and only when you are ready to download it do the limitations become fully obvious. Yes, Premium elements may be marked, but in practice this still leads to a situation where you either redo parts of your work or pay.
The claim about a “7-day free” option is also misleading in this context. It is not a full-featured trial, but a restricted Basic version that does not reflect the actual Premium experience most users expect.
Also, while you state that there is no subscription, the reality is that the pricing model is still based on time-limited access (month/quarter/year), with no shorter or truly one-time option available.
In the end, this creates a strong feeling of frustration. The pricing is not aligned with how people actually use such services — occasionally, not continuously.

Another important point is that job markets differ significantly between countries and industries. Not every employer uses AI ATS systems heavily, and not every hiring process requires dozens of tailored resumes and cover letters. Your model seems heavily optimized around one specific hiring approach, mainly common in certain markets, but that does not necessarily reflect how job searching works everywhere.
So while I respect your business decision, I still believe the platform would benefit from offering at least one flexible short-term option for users whose needs are more occasional than long-term.

They apply to dozens, sometimes hundreds, and a serious job search means tailoring the resume and cover letter for each role to actually land callbacks. The "build one perfect resume in two hours and never touch it again" approach is a failed strategy for more than 95% of job seekers, which is precisely why no serious resume tool is built around it. It doesn't match what gets people hired.
On the "free Basic is misleading" point, we'd push back on that one. Basic includes everything you need to build and download a complete, professional, ATS-friendly one-page resume. The split between Basic and Premium is visible from the moment you open the editor. Premium templates are clearly labeled as such, and every Premium feature carries an icon next to it inside the editor. Nothing reveals itself only at checkout. A user who only wants a Basic resume can build and download one without ever touching a Premium element.
What you're describing as the fix, a few-hours or true one-time micro-payment tier, isn't something we can offer without breaking the experience for the 95%+ of users the current model actually serves.
