Great all round experience
Start off with the staff over the phone, she was really friendly and helpful. Made a process ive not done before very easy and the fact this was an hour after my car crash she done very well to keep me grounded. Have a great selection of cars and i could pick what i want but i let her pick i just said "something similar to my current car" which in the end was a very good decision. It was set up just like that...
Car was delivered the very next day the bloke gave me a call prior to the delivery just as a heads up. He was also great he took some pre inspection photos which got emailed to me. We had a great chat about what to do when if i break down or if any issues which were all written down on the sheet handed to me. General talk about the rented car while we were laughing at the state my car is in.
I didn't know what car i was getting but i got a Renault Clio Techno 25 plate.... amazing car i could write a whole review on that alone but short and sweet, lovely car inside and out freshly valeted. Perfect. So much so im now wanting to get one on the back of this experience
I had the car well over a month which i got told was unheard of but they were so so great and flexible while my car and claim was being sorted so much so i asked to get it extended as the date my car goes to the garage is also the due date for the car to return so i would've been unable to drive to work. Again they stick to their word and let me have it over the weekend so my car was back to road worthy and it didn't effect my work. Which i think is so important, you've been through enough if you need to use these services on the back of a crash but know your in good hands and its one less thing to worry about as it really feels they work with you not against you.
If you are looking at these as just a rental for a few days i was looking at the initial sheet i got handed when the keys got given to me. The prices are stated and for the type of cars you get for them prices are amazing man not just that they do others too.
On pick up again staff was amazing he was even happy i cleaned it up for him inside and out. Nice little chat while he was inspecting the car again photos got emailed to me. Nice and easy

I had a fantastic experience with Auxillis. From the moment I reached out, their team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely focused on helping me. They made the whole process smooth and stress-free, always putting the customer first. Misleading advice, extortionate credit hire rates, and months of unnecessary stress Review:
I am writing this review to warn others—particularly younger or less experienced drivers—about the business practices of Auxillis.
Following a non-fault accident, my insurance company referred me to Auxillis for a replacement hire vehicle. Within an hour, an Auxillis representative called me, applying significant pressure to get the digital contract signed immediately, promising the car would be delivered while mine was being repaired.
Before signing, the third-party insurer contacted me directly, offering a replacement vehicle entirely free of charge. Uncertain of the best route to take, I called Auxillis back for advice and informed them of the third party's offer. The representative explicitly advised me to stay with Auxillis, stating that it "makes no difference to you, as you don't pay the costs."
This statement was incredibly misleading. Auxillis operates on a credit hire basis, charging extortionate daily rates that far exceed standard hire costs. If the third-party insurer contests these inflated fees—which happened in my case—you will be dragged into a lengthy and highly stressful legal dispute.
I endured months of intense stress, during which Auxillis essentially threatened me that if I did not comply with their court proceedings, I would be held personally liable for over £2,000 in hire fees.
Do not be misled by their connection to your main insurer. If you are involved in a non-fault accident and the third-party insurer offers you a hire car directly, accept it. Avoid Auxillis at all costs unless you want to risk being threatened with court action and thousands of pounds in liabilities.

My wife was hit from behind by another car a couple of months ago. We are insured with Admiral. Should be straightforward?
First of all, the other driver's insurance company said they would sort it all out, give us a hire car until ours was fixed and collect our car for repairs within a few days.
In error, we decided to get Admiral to sort it all out. They put us on to Auxillis and that is where it went wrong.
They were shockingly slow in all communications. It took weeks and weeks to get our car booked in and all of this time, due to the damage on the car, the parking sensors were going off all the time.
We then got a hire car for the time is it was in the garage. In the days we had the car, whilst driving the car sustained a chip in the windscreen due to a stone. As it was being collected the day after this, we then had to pay £250 for this.
In hindsite, we should have just got the the other driver's insurer to sort and then we wouldn't have had to wait so long to get it sorted.
I am struggling to see any benefit in using a company such as Auxillis as ot seems there is absolutely no advantage whatsoever.

Not a happy camper
After giving Auxillis a 5 star review on there site what a surprise I have gotten. They went on to say to my insurance company that I had damaged the car ?? Nothing was mentioned whenever the car was lifted and no paperwork , photos to collaborate this. If the car was damaged which I don’t believe it was .It happened after it left me. So take this as a warning use them if you must and take plenty of photos.

Brilliant hire car company
Brilliant hire car company. I cannot praise them highly enough. I was given a courtesy car, which was a Volkswagen T-Roc automatic from 22nd May to 9th June and the car was perfect inside and out. Very friendly people from Dan the delivery driver to everyone either by phone or email. They made everything so smooth and easy. Highly recommended Auxillis. Excellent 100% service.

Absolutely appalling experience with Auxillis.
I was provided with a courtesy car that arrived covered in bumps, scratches, and damage that had not been properly recorded. Had I not carried out my own inspection and documented the condition of the vehicle myself, I could easily have been held responsible for damage that was already there. That is completely unacceptable and caused unnecessary stress and worry.
To make matters worse, I was told by a member of staff, who I believe was called Rachael, that I could keep the courtesy car for another week. However, this was later reversed, and the vehicle was taken back much earlier than I had been led to expect. The lack of communication and consistency was extremely frustrating.
Even after losing access to the courtesy car, I still had not received the money I was expecting in my account. Being left without a vehicle and without payment only added to the inconvenience.
Throughout the process, I found the customer service to be poor and unhelpful. The whole experience felt disorganised from start to finish. A courtesy car should not arrive in such poor condition, and customers should not have to worry about being blamed for existing damage.

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I would strongly advise anyone using this company to thoroughly inspect and photograph every inch of any vehicle they receive before driving away, and to keep records of all conversations and promises made.

Avoid. Awful service across the board. Fell for being provided with an equivalent car. Gave me a basic VW for a Premium Tesla and haven’t once got back to me despite 3 requests for a better car. Haven’t heard anything substantive back from their complaints team despite contacting them over a week ago. Customer Service team are appalling. I’ve had several conversations with them which are all very friendly and helpful but then exactly the opposite happens to what was agreed. Would not use again.

EXCELLENT COMPANY AND GREAT SERVICE
Brilliant and Professional Service from all involved at this company and Directline. Following a no fault accident, the staff took my wife’s account and as our car was not legally drivable arranged for the collection of it and delivery of a rental vehicle, for the following day. It was important as we only have one car and my wife’s dad was suffering from serious health issues in hospital.
From start to finish we were kept informed. The 3rd party tried to tell lies and regrettably our dash cam had failed, which made matters more challenging. The great news is that the staff at Auxillis and DL listened and sorted
I would say our premium is not unreasonable, but importantly, the policy is backed by a 10:10 company.
