We placed our order for UPVC sliding sash windows on 24/04/25. The representative who called out stated on the day that as the distance from their offices to our home was approximately 50 miles he would not be coming back. We felt somewhat pressured to go ahead and paid £4125 deposit. As we had misgivings about the sales tactics we contacted the office following his visit and was advised that the rep should not have said that and the distance would not have any affect on our order or after sales service. After discussing further between myself and wife we thought this was a red flag we should not ignore so we decided to cancel which was within the 14 days cooling off period.
We cancelled on 6/05/25 and were advised that it would take up to 7 working days for the refund to reach our account.
Numerous calls and e mails were made to the company all to no avail.
With no monies refunded by 22/05/25 we had to raise a dispute with our bank to pursue on our behalf as we were in danger of incurring interest charges on the £4125 debit on our account.
The monies were finally refunded on 17/06/25 a full 6 weeks from our cancellation. We had no communication from the company or apology on the length of time that it had taken, we only realised of the refund when looking at our account.
We would therefore definitely not recommend this company.

Used this company a couple of times in past 2 years. Great service all the way from initial enquiry to actually fitting the windows.

Window fitters did a neat job and tidied up after themselves really well.

A truly highly skilled team of professional window & door double glazing installation experts . Mark , Matthew & Tyler did a fantastic job on our property . They kept everything totally clean start to finish . I would highly recommend this company & their team of fitters to anyone . Well done guys & a massive Thankyou on a spectacular job .

Ordered 3.6 meter bifolds, manufacturing timescales were accurate , delivery was great , product is great, overall great experience

From NTW's sales people to the Installation department but most of all Josh my installer who had a lot of obstacles to encounter, he couldn't get close to my property to off load my patio doors anf all his equipment due to the entrance to my court having a height restriction, there were other trade vehicles in his way but no problem for Josh, on his own jr had done s thorough high standard installation on my new patio doors, he deserves a bonus.

Ordered 8 windows plus 2 Composite doors, agreed a date for installation however several delays transpired after this agreed date.
A big thanks to Steve Service Manager Finally getting everything sorted also thankyou to all at head office after installation completed, for discussing and offering a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience caused.

Communication
Poor to start with however improved greatly due to Steve's (Service Manager) efforts getting everything back on track.

Installation team
The work was carried out by Lyle and Andrew in a professional manner and very high Quality work they are a credit to their profession.

Product
To put it simply very high Quality.

10/10 in my eyes.
An all round brilliant experience.
The windows and composite door are of a high quality and the installers (Matt I believe) was fantastic.
I will use Northern Trade Windows again for sure.

Mark & Matthew fitted my French Doors and back door today and did a fantastic job. They were professional, friendly and very hard working. The quality of the doors is excellent and are good value for money. I would highly recommend Northern Trade Windows to anyone looking for replacement windows or doors.

We instructed Northern Trade Windows to replace a full set of windows and doors on our property.

From start to finish, they were absolutely brilliant. From going through designs and options, to measuring and survey, to the installation, everyone was knowledgeable, helpful and very courteous! The turnaround time was very quick, too!

The quality of the windows is second to none, and the quality of the installation is fantastic, too. We’re very pleased with how everything has turned out and would definitely recommend Northern Trade Windows.

We are very happy with the windows and would give a 5 star review for this. Great quality, fitted quickly carefully, with minimal mess. Staff have been friendly and knowledgeable. It is nice to support a small local business.
Unfortunately, following the initial sales visit there has been some poor communication, confusion and misunderstanding, between us and Northern Trade windows and internally between staff. Once the contract had been signed, we felt a little unheard and initially unimportant as the customer, so been disappointed with the after sales service, hence the reduced star rating.
We experienced some leaking through the front door, but aftersales could not help without a guarantee number, which we were unable to access, due to being away from home. There followed some misunderstanding about when we thought we were going to be called back. When we rang back today, (following further leaking), we were told that they could not see a record of last weeks call. I understand that it is Christmas and a busy time but we were told that it could be up to 2 weeks to get our leak looked at.
However, I'm happy to say that since our initial trust pilot review, and conversation with the Sales Director, our problem was sorted. Within the space of 3 hours, an engineer came round and dealt with the leak. We have been assured that our experience was a combination of unfortunate one off issues and positive changes have been implemented to ensure improved customer service and aftersales for us. We are now very happy. We will definitely consider future purchases with Northern Trade Windows. Thank you

The whole process was an absolute breeze from start to finish. As a young female FTB I’m always been so nervy on having tradesmen in, in case I’m overcharged or made to feel uncomfortable.
Northern Trade Windows made it all so easy, charged a reasonable price and made me feel comfortable from the first initial email. The window fitters were extremely polite and professional (Kyle and Andrew) and nothing was too much trouble for them.
I’ll be using this company again for the other windows and doors that need replacing in the future! Thank you all!

Totally happy with the work done - 2 doors, front and back boiler house. Front door was a challenge because of the size, but the job was no problem for them. The fitting was top class, and the fellas worked well and finished everything within the day and left no trace. Having been let down by other local fitters with high prices and non-communication, I know now who to contact for future works.

Have to say, as a customer who’s lived in two houses but never had new windows/doors fitted before, I was sceptical. You just don’t know who to trust and whilst companies promise the earth, you are lucky if you get a village !

Northern Trade Windows, Luke/Ricky (Sales), Phil (Surveyor) and the fitters, Mark, Matty and another lad whose name I forgot, were all top draw.

Really efficient. Attention to detail was unreal and the fitters….lets just say those boys were a class act. Always grafting. Every finish was meticulously carried out, they were tidy after every day but be warned, if you get Mark and his boys, they love a good cuppa ! For 3 days graft we went through half a tub of sugar 😂 They earnt it though.

So, if you’re thinking of getting your windows, doors, conservatories done, don’t hesitate…….NTW are the ones you should be using. Cheers fellas

From my initial enquiry NTW made me feel like a valued customer. The sales team undertook multiple visits to see my home before providing the quote, which was presented to us by the owner. Our project was certainly not a straight forward one, with elongated windows and arched windows. The installation team surveyed the house thoroughly and came up with a strategy that paid dividends throughout fitting. The installation of the windows was undertaken to a very high standard with no issues that couldn't be overcome. The team finished the interior extremely well and left our home clean and tidy. I would strongly recommend NTW to anyone. I would like to give a special mention to Elliot and Luke in the sales team for making the ordering as straightforward as possible, and Phil and Matt for the work involved in surveying and designing the windows. My biggest thanks go to Kyle, Matt and Andy for the install. They all did an amazing job and we couldn't have asked for anymore; Kyle was there throughout the project on site and ensured it was delivered to such a high standard. Thank you
