You could trail through the internet, but personally I feel you would be wasting your time, as I cannot recommend Northern Survey highly enough.
No “Hidden extras”, they are Very competitively priced and from my first interaction , Simon and Paul were the utmost professionals, amenable and very knowledgeable in their roles.
Extremely skilled in their communication, they explained everything in layman’s terms and I was completely aware of the whole process they were to complete on my property prior to the day.
Knowledgeable and meticulous in their trade, they identified things we would never have been aware of until it would have caused greater issues and damage down the line.
A leak under the bath, an issue with a toilet and two blocked pipes were dealt with immediately on the day.
They provided an overview of the key concerns and have identified items that we would never have been aware of, until we may have been out of warranty therefore they have saved us money we would have had to pay out in the future.
A comprehensive list, also identified items that may become an issue in the future, we therefore have documented evidence to cover us, should this occur.
We are so grateful for their expertise and they have given us peace of mind our house is structurally well built and they have saved us so much time in producing a snagging list ourselves.

What a service! 5 hours - 2 exceptionally knowledgeable surveyors, who then explained everything to me in a language I could understand. Very thorough survey inside and out, details I would never have known about or even thought about checking. The survey was very reasonable price and will have saved me thousands down the line, by being identified now.

Extremely professional and friendly service from Paul and Simon who spent a full day throughly inspecting our new house. Every corner was inspected and great information given along the way. Debrief meeting was concise and detailed and information given as to the next part of the process. Report received very timely, very detailed and with pictures to support and aid when discussing with site manager on 7 day snagging meeting. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were both very respectful of our property. Fantastic to know that we have some professional support and advice when tackling listed defects. Fantastic service delivered by Paul and Simon. A thorough inspection of both the interior and exterior of my new build completed. Although I have not yet received the written report, I was taken talked through and shown the key findings, and the one pressing issue was flagged immediately so I could raise this with my developer to be resolved. I would thoroughly recommend.

A thoroughly professional service from two highly qualified and knowledgeable really nice guys. Turned up at 10:00am as agreed and didn’t leave until 5pm - no stone left unturned and a 100 page comprehensive report followed soon after. Cost is negligible compared to the price of the house and worth every single penny. Would 100% recommend their services
