# Avoid This Hotel – Extremely Disappointing Experience
My experience with NoMad City Lakes in Copenhagen was absolutely unacceptable\. There was a huge difference between what was advertised on Booking\.com and what I actually received\.
The room was advertised with facilities including a private bathroom, a shower and a bathtub\. In reality, I was given a room of approximately **12 square metres with nothing but a washbasin**\. The room did not match the description I had booked, and the facilities I expected were simply not there\.
When booking a hotel, you should be able to trust the information provided in the listing\. You make your booking and pay based on the facilities and standards that are advertised\. In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable\.
I contacted the hotel to complain about the misleading description and request a refund\. Unfortunately, the customer service has been just as disappointing as the room itself\. **My emails have gone unanswered, my phone calls have not been returned, and I have received no meaningful response whatsoever\.**
A hotel should take responsibility when the accommodation provided does not match what was advertised\. At the very least, customers deserve a response and a fair attempt to resolve the issue\.
Instead, I have been left with a terrible experience, no satisfactory resolution and a refund request that appears to be completely ignored\.
**I will never stay at this hotel again, and I strongly advise other travellers to think carefully before booking\.** Make sure you verify exactly what facilities you will receive rather than relying solely on the advertised description\.
Based on my experience, both the accommodation and the customer service have been extremely disappointing\.
**Never again\.**
