Clothing choice and quality is good but over the last 3 months there has been a notable drop in delivery reliability. My last 4 orders have been delayed by 3-4days which is really disappointing.

I ordered pink blouse received cream , I ordered another top order size 18 I tried on feel like it’s Medium, was too small , try to contact customer care service online chat very poor service, I’m very disappointed. No communication from online waste of time .
Furniture delivery long wait times
Generally for clothing I have had no problems with NEXT.
Furniture orders are a different story though. Disappointing service and misleading information on the website.
Next only deliver furniture in Ireland on Thursdays. These slots fill up so no matter how quick it says on the website that it will deliver the item to you, you are going to be waiting anywhere from 2-5 weeks at least. I have placed several furniture orders from them so I am speaking from experience.
Also, be aware after you place your order, unless you quickly contact next to book in your delivery slot, you could be waiting anywhere from an extra week or two for them to contact you to arrange a delivery slot. All of this leading to unnecessary delays.
Next really need to improve their furniture delivery contract and have more available vans.
Also next should be more transparent on their website about the real delivery lead times.
Used Next for years
I’ve ordered from next for years on line for clothes. Generally they are brilliant and you do get it next day. Very occasionally it has been delayed. Lately it’s got a tiny bit slower hence me in here looking to see if others have felt the same. There returns policy in the store in great, no questions ask, just a straight return. Love that

I spent such a long time browsing online and chose 4 Fatface items. Noting fit me as all way too big. I ordered a pair of corduroy trousers that were supposed to be tall. They weren't. I then had to go back to Liffey Valley to return all the items. I was met by a very unfriendly lady who processed my returns silently. No greeting or pleasantries and when I asked if I could leave the empty bag with her she basically rolled her eyes at me. So hostile to me and the previous two customers. I was so disgusted with the poor customer service that I wrote an e mail to them. It's been nearly a week and no response. I then ordered two cardigans online hoping to wear one that weekend. Only one arrived on the Saturday. The other on Monday. The first one was a Next item and so badly made with terrible stitching and a pocket that wasn't sewn at all, so my hand went straight through! The next one, an Oliver Bonas cardigan was advertised as being 80% cotton but it was actually made mostly of polyester. I rang customer service and spoke with a polite man. I told him the problems and I'm not willing to pay for return postage. ( I will avoid Liffey Valley after the unpleasant experience) The agent said to get a receipt for postage and get back on to them so they can refund me. I feel totally inconvenienced and disappointed that I wasted so much time choosing clothing and it all turned out so badly. Think ill rely on in person shopping in quality stores in future.
Appalling Customer Service
Ordered a Ralph Lauren dress online. They sent the wrong size and informed me I had to post it back myself or return it to a next store (30 miles away). I would then have to wait for the refund to reorder, or reorder and pay again whilst waiting for the refund and hope they would send the correct size this time. Absolutely appalling customer service. I've reordered directly from Ralph Lauren site. Bonkers!
Love Next Online– reliable and great quality!
Next Online is one of my favourite stores! They have a great selection at reasonable prices, and delivery to Ireland is always fast and efficient.
As a frequent online shopper, I know I can count on them when I need something last-minute and good quality. Returns are super easy too, which makes the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely keep ordering from Next!

Purchased a pair of Fat Face cropped denim Jeans from Next clearance site - looks like these have already been worn - there is a pull/hole in the fabric by the front zip - these should never have been sent out in this condition- very surprised Next sent them out like this.

I purchased experience day voucher from next when I went to activate it none of the locations were available. I contacted next and because I had purchased it from them they took responsibility for it and said they would send me a gift card in the post . Two weeks later still no gift card after speaking to another person I was to receive a E voucher two weeks later still no E mail voucher. The reason my scoring for this review is good is because after speaking to 5 other people I eventually spoke to Sam who informed me she was new . I can only say her customer service was excellent she rang me twice to make sure my problem was been dealt with . My advice to Next is employe more people like Sam and have happier customers. QUALITY GONE WAY DOWN
I purchased a dress for €86.00 which arrived this morning. I was disgusted with the quality, it had loose threads and was see through, being unlined. I would consider €40.00 would be more than enough for the dress.

Absolutely appalling service ! I’ve placed an order 12 days ago and was counting on it as it had items I was going to use at an important event . Just got an email saying “we’ve received your returns” … what returns ?! I haven’t even received anything, nevermind returning!
Customer service just gave me a lame excuse “sorry , but we had an issue with our curriers, you’ll get a full refund “
I wanted my items not a refund.. all items I wanted are sold out too . Now I have to go panick buy something before the event . What’s the point of online shopping services if they can’t even honour their orders ?!

Possibly the worst customer service I’ve experienced purchased a set of tall draws took the morning off work to receive them on the day they said they would deliver them, delivery guy said and I quote if we can not deliver them ‘would you mind if I throw them in the door way’ they never delivered them, was told it would be rescheduled that was a week ago rang customer service and there to busy to take my call I just want a full refund. Avoid the on line service. Horrendous.
Blanchardstown Dublin
I went to the Next store in Blanchardstown Dublin on Sat 22.03.25 to purchase a suit for my brother who is special needs for his 60th birthday.
Debbie in the store was a godsend as my brother was unable to attend with me. I left the store with a complete outfit head to toe and am delighted with how easy Debbie made the process.
It's not 24 hour delivery
Why advertise 24 hour delivery when it's not this has happened more than once, I purposely bought an item because I was stuck for time and still hasn't arrived. Next used to be fantastic but like the rest of the country not what it used to be.
Long tall Sally Slim black yoga panths B61465
I recently bought long tall sally black pants B61 465. Leg and waist perfect. I would like the tracksuit bottoms to be zet black and not barely black. They last longer in washes if the material is zet black. I would like the material in these trousers to be thicker and warmer to wear in the winter time. I am 5foot 10" and Next is the only place that I can get tracksuit bottoms long enough for me. Excellent customer service and delivery. Thanks.
