First of all I have to admit the theory side of the course does take some time however if you go through it properly and organise time for revision everyday you'll get through it in no time and start your practical work. In the practical centre it's great fun and you just gotta put in the work and you'll see good results.

Costumer service at new trades career is phenomenal I'd personally like to thank Aisha from the costumer service department who helped me a lot and took her time clearing up any issues I had. Thanks a lot Aisha!

What a scam. My husband is a health and safety specialist. He got through the first assessments until the health and safety test where he failed 3 times!!!
You can only retake these every 6 weeks.. Hence they take more of your money. It an absolute disgrace, especially in these times where the unemployed are trying to expand their skills to improve their chances of getting a job.

Don't sign up before reading the reviews. Im currently trying to get out my contract.

Joined Oct 2019 just before covid. Started off ok and I past the first section of the course. Covid hit and I still hadn't received the next part! Tried yo email and tried to contact but was mere impossible to get any answer, just answer machine and auto emails! Nearly £250 a month they was taking from me and I stopped the payments as I was getting nothing back from them! Payment stopped then letters from balifs. So was then pressured to keep paying or else basically. Managed to stop the contract after speaking with passive aggressive customer service but no chance of getting money back! They are a complete scam as it turns out the creditations aren't even legit after what I've recently found out!

Absolutely disgusting company happy to take your money, but do not tell you that the course is deadlined not a study at your own pace! I have had to pay a separate company to get my 18th edition, and now will be going with trade skills 4 you for the rest of it.

It is a scam. They do not let you know that you need to finish the course in 36 months. They sell it to you as at your pace course. Liars. Than they try to charge you 400 more for a year extension. And their courses are not even government approved. You will get a job selling hotdogs with this.

I started the course back in Jan 2021, Alot of TMAs sitting at home and doing learning, you dont really get much time in centre as they put weeks 1 and 2 together and so on. You can not compete everything in 5 weeks as they say.

joined the course back in 2019, due to covid, work and personal life I couldnt continue the course for a while. I have now tried to carry on with it but have been told my course expired after 36 months. No where inmy 'contract' does it state i have 36 months to complete the course. When the lady came to my house to get me to sign up she said i can do the course in my own time and its a flexible as i need it.
Now im down £7000+ with nothing to show for it other than 3 books. Has anyone had any luck with legal advice and getting their money back?

I’ve only been on the course a full year and have completed all my TMA’s and all my centre study stuff. The staff at the centre are very helpful and full of great advice and are very knowledgeable. You get out of this course what you put in just like any college. All these negative reviews are people who expect something for nothing. I’m doing the electricians course and I have found it to be really good and have knuckled down and put in the work with a little bit of help from the lecturers who have always be friendly and happy to help me with my enquiries

I have been scammed by the same company but with another name, we need to create a place where we can contact each other as I think I will be taking legal action, however trust pilot does not allow me to contact other reviewers, whoever sees this please write another review responding to this one, I am hoping to create a group chat to discuss legal matters and share information. I signed up in May 2021 was lead to believe I would be joining an accredited city and guilds course provider. This is not the case, only the test centre under ERR is accredited and new trades has no affiliation with them. You will not learn anything with this provider and face endless problems if you do not CANCEL within the 1st 14 days. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF JOINING!

Honestly you’ll gain more experience from watching a YouTube video that isn’t even plumbing related.

They genuinely do everything they can to stop you from ever getting you qualifications. Like many others I am now also seeking legal action against them.

It all started well, but then they started having staff problems my in centre training was cancelled three times the last time was never re-scheduled, they stopped emailing me and calling them just ended up with me arguing with possible the rudest receptionist in the world. I've lost £8000 now seeking legal advice. Avoid this shambolic excuse of a business.

Does anyone know how I can claim my money back from NTC? What a fraud of a company.

The lady over the phone was extremely rude.

I am unable to login to student portal and ntc does not help. Costing me £178 a month for nothing. I would have saved quite a bit if I saved it.
Who do I contact to get refund? Anyone claimed please let me know.

Where do I start, I enrolled a couple of years ago now but due to restraints in my life & covid etc it has been very difficult for me to even start my course, I want a better life for me & my family & thought the opportunity had passed me by, so was in a bit of disarray until I ra g & spoke to a lovely lady on the other end of the phone, extremely helpful & pleasant & couldn't have wished for a better person to have handled my call. I'm extremely grateful to yourself (you know who you are) going the extra mile & more for myself you are a great asset to this college & I am now, with thanks to you & your manager in a better position to smash this course & the future is looking extremely bright!! 😊 thank you again.

They send a sales person to your house to get you interested. Me and my brother enrolled and were both conned. They took ages for me to get my first practical kept making excuses to push it back. They will tell you the course can’t expire they are lying! Once you have have payed the money they end your contract. After years of waiting to get my first practical I went to there “top quality training centre with the best tutors in the country”. I turned up to a run down warehouse in Essex with a tutor that were not only rude, intimidating and useless but also RACIST!. I left my practical half way through training, made my complaint in which a 4 month investigation was done for them to tell me all my allegations were wrong, they wasn’t going to do anything about it and my course was now expired. Don’t waste your time or money with this company please!! £7,500 I spent which is a lot money for me. My friends all have nice cars, lots of savings or a good career. I’m now 26 and im left with nothing, it really effected my mental health and I would be sad to hear this happen to anyone els. Please don’t sign up thank you.

Very good course if you’re looking to get into the industry. You can learn as fast or slow as you like. College tutors are really helpful.

I started the programme in lockdown trying to better myself and career for my family. A bloke came to my house and promised me the world but as soon as I signed on the dotted line not a word. I was given a few textbooks and all seemed well at the start. I went and brought a new laptop specifically for the coursework and couldn’t find the student log in on Google. After many email exchanges I was told “it is not designed to come up on Google”. This is when I had suspicions and saw lots of reviews saying it was a scam and it’s completely true! After much thought I cancelled the monthly payments now I’m getting sent letters saying I need to pay up or it’ll affect my credit and maybe even go to court! I was wondering if anyone else is in the same situation and has any advice before I contact a financial ombudsman. TIA.
