Clearly using review gating here on Trustpilot to keep their review score higher than it should be.
I was told they would have a settlement for me in 6-9 months. I continued to pay for 10 months before I called to check the status of my settlement. They told me it would be another 5-6 months for there to be enough funds in my account. I had already paid nearly $6,000 in, so it didn't make any sense that I only had $2,500 in my account. I cancelled and had to go through a lengthy process to get only a portion of my funds back with no settlement. They told me a large portion of my funds were non refundable even though they did absolutely nothing while I was in the "program".

Very Misleading
Our sales rep Paul told us they have a good relationship with my creditors found out yesterday it takes 5 to 7 months to reach a settlement. I have worked in collections for over 30 years and in my experience it didnt take me 5 to 7 months to reach a settlement. We contacted our sales rep and he is MIA.

I am having the worse experience with…
I am having the worse experience with this company. They actually got settlements less interesting than the one the credit card companies offered me directly. Also, they are still listing a credit card company that I have paid off completely and asked to be removed while they have not added the company that I have requested to add. I have filled all the correct paperwork but nothing. Whenever I call customer service, they have no information.

Ongoing saga
Ongoing saga. Told us over a year ago, all the things they would do. Painted a rosy picture. 14 months later, they are demanding 125% more per month, lawsuits have been filed on accounts they were supposed to have been working on, they killed a joint account that was not even on the list. I would not recommend them, even to an enemy, as nobody needs the stress they have created in our lives!

NO RESPONSES FROM NEWPORT LEGAL GROUP!
I have been calling them and NO ONE answers the phone! I find VERY Negative reports in the BBB!
I am very surprised to find Positive reports here in TRUST PILOT!

Frustrated
1st, I am so happy that I am with Newport Legal Group. The stress of the monies owed to my creditors has been relieved and for the most part, everything is going well but;
I signed the contract for more money than was actually owed, because one account was much lower than I accounted for and for 4 months I have been calling every 2 weeks but to no avail. I am constantly told by the person I speak to that my situation with this one account will be sent over to a negotiator whom to this date I have never heard from.
