I moved into my new build home by Newett Homes at The Heath, Fenay Bridge in November 2025 and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From my first visit to view the show house the lovely Belinda quickly answered all my never ending questions and patiently waited as I chose my fixtures and fittings. Communications were always clear and prompt and I was kept informed at each stage of the build. Belinda has been incredibly helpful, professional, and attentive, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

The quality of the build is excellent, with a high standard of finish throughout. There were a few minor snags but these were quickly resolved by the site managers Harrison and Jake who ensured everything was done with a high degree of attention to detail. The sales and site management team constantly go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and keep us residents happy.

The development itself is beautifully planned, in a great location. I’m absolutely delighted with my new home and would highly recommend Newett Homes and The Heath at Fenay Bridge to anyone looking for a high-quality new build in a great setting.

We drove a long way to visit Scholars Gate as we preferred smaller developments. It did not disappoint! The icing on the cake was communication between sales executive, Angela, who was very informative and professional. No pushy sales tactics were used and she was very honest and open with us. A great ambassador and an asset to the company!

Please don’t make the mistake of buying one of these homes.
I bought my home in July and have had 2 tyre punctures. The site is filthy I have raised my complaints multiple times and i have been ignored. The customer service is a joke they said “ I couldn’t prove it was them”. I have sent multiple evidence ( pictures and videos ) of screws, work debris and other materials left on the road and my drive way. The customer services takes days to answer. The pictures I’ll attach below are only 2 -3 weeks worth of rubbish. The customer service team don’t even take the time to read your complaints properly and often repeat the same thing as if it’s a copy and paste email, when you have given sufficient evidence which they don’t take into account. I wished I have read the reviews before purchasing as they all say how bad the business is and how terrible the customer service team are.

They have had multiple staff leave ( 2 site managers + sale office staff ) in 6 months due to the lack of care on the companies side.

Tara the sales advisor has been extremely helpful with all the information and processing of documents. She’s been very friendly and has answered any questions when needed, overall she has provided an excellent experience!

We visited the Sales Office for our appointment with Angela. She was very helpful and able to answer all our questions.
We looked around the show home and this encouraged us to look further into purchasing a property on Scholars Gate.
Angela explained the process of reserving a property and this is what we intend to do and hopefully go forward to purchasing our new home.

We are in the process of buying a house with Newett homes and we couldn't be any more satisfied. The sales advisor, Angela, has been brilliant. From our initial meeting where we were decided which property to go for until now we're picking our the finishings we have found her warm, friendly and knowledgeable. She has guided us through the part exchange process and made it as straightforward as possible. The house is looking great, we're impressed with the build quality and everyone we've met of site has been friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Angela, Newett homes and Scholars gate to anyone.

I have had nothing more than 100% satisfaction from all my meetings with Tara at Newett Homes. She made the process very smooth and less stressful.

From start to finish, we had a brilliant experience purchasing our forever home with Newett Homes.
We first went to the estate we now live on for a nosey, and met Andrew who was nothing short of brilliant from the moment we met him. He was knowledgeable, informative and was patient with us when taking us through our options with selling our previous house.
He kept us in the loop every step of the build, sent us progress photos and invited us up to see him and the site manager, Josh as often as they could so we could see the process.
We have been in our home now for 6 months, there has been a few small snags as expected with a new build, but every one of them has been rectified quickly and painlessly.
We chose Newett not only for the beautiful rural location, but also for the quality of the build. It’s the best quality new build home I’ve lived in, the whole floor plan is well thought out to maximise the space within the home.

Both Andrew & Josh are invaluable members to the team, and if we ever decided to put ourselves through the stress of selling this beautiful home and buying a new one, we would go back to Newett in a heart beat.

I absolutely love my new Newett Homes home; I’m so happy living here. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the building, both exterior and interior. I’ve had no major issues at all, any minor issues, such as a door that started sticking a bit, were dealt with the same day I mentioned it.

Everyone I have had any interaction with has been very friendly, polite, professional and kind whether it be Belinda (Senior Sales Executive), Caz (Site Manager), Ryan (Deputy Site Manager) or a plumber, a painter, a gardener, they are all wonderful.

It has been a long, long time since I bought a house and the process has changed a lot! Belinda is such a lovely person, she has been amazing and extremely patient! She has guided me through every step, chased up people, explained things and listened to me (a lot!).

One last thing, Belinda, Caz and their team, are just as friendly, helpful and kind now, as they were the first time I met them in January 2025 (11 months ago to date), and in my opinion if I was ever to move house again, which I don’t plan to, I’d have no hesitation in buying another Newett Homes house.

The House buying process has been incredibly straightforward with Newett Homes. Belinda, Caz and Ryan at 'The Heath' have been incredibly helpful, approachable and personable. Any questions or queries that I had were discussed and resolved promptly and quickly.

1) The Home Tour prior to completion was incredibly thorough, where all my questions were answered and whilst it was only scheduled for 1.5hrs, they went beyond this to talk to me about all the features of my house in detail to ensure that I was happy with them.

2) Communication throughout the house buying process was brilliant, Belinda was always available to discuss any questions I had.

3) After moving in, Caz and Ryan visited on a regular basis to check that I was happy and whether I had any further questions or queries with about the house.

4) The house is to a great standard and I have had no issues, the customer service has been brilliant.

Overall I couldn't recommend them enough based on the experience I've had with them so far. Once again a huge thank you to the team at Newett Homes, but specifically Belinda, Caz and Ryan for going above and beyond with their customer service. They are assets to the business.

Great house I couldn’t be more delighted with it. I’m very settled and if there’s a problem there’s always a helpful person on hand or phone. Nothing is too much trouble.

I have had an excellent experience with Newett Homes and am very happy with the build quality. I completed this week and everyone I have come across throughout the process has been helpful, informative and supportive.

Avoid Newett Homes like the plague. Their customer service (once you’re in the property) is nothing short of appalling. They take a lifetime to respond to you and when they do respond, it’s only to say they are “still working on your request” but nothing actually ever gets resolved. We have a list of outstanding work needing to be corrected, from leaking showers, fences not installed correctly and now falling down, shower screens not fitted properly, guttering hanging off and many more, and Newett have zero appetite to get any of it resolved. Their workmanship is significantly substandard compared to other new homes we’ve had, and their approach to customer service makes the whole experience unbearable. This is the first and last property I’ll purchase from Newett Homes. An utterly terrible experience.

Bought a detached new build. Paid way over the odds. Feels like a cheap build and we have had lots of issues - which continue to remain unresolved after months. Save yourself the hassle and avoid buying from them.
