False Positive Phishing
Result of a false positive phishing carried out by Netcraft, to a small blog, without user registration and without banners or popups. Hosting canceled and had to reinstall, blocked by Google and without a single apology from Netcraft...
They are generating fake…
They are generating fake pishing/malware reports via auto bots, look like they are destroying business by fake pishing repots. They are just taking money from competitors to take down any site.
Netcraft destroys small business owners
The company reported my website as malicious to my provider and other parties, so my provider immediately shut down my website for days. Netcraft agreed via E-Mail that the website was incorrectly identified as malicious. How can something like this happen without further investigation from Netcraft? They destroy small business owners and the providers do believe their reports, also without investigating it! The shut down causes a bad company reputation, client loss, money loss and time loss!
This company is a complete scam
This company is a complete scam. They issue false complaints to hosting companies about completely legitimate websites without having checked anything at all. I infer that they engage in discrediting to harm competitors. Not recommended.
They randomly report client servers…
They randomly report client servers which are in long use, then offering own "services". That is blackmailing and think that the site is a criminal nest. They reported my server which I used for over 1 year but that server is empty, I did not even install ubuntu on that, because i planing that server for later. Freaking scammers
Netcraft appears to prioritize domain…
Netcraft appears to prioritize domain acquisition over genuine service provision. Their aggressive tactics suggest a focus on acquiring domains rather than providing valuable services. Potential customers should proceed with caution and thoroughly research alternatives before engaging with this company.
Netcraft is a phishing company
Netcraft is a phishing company. All it wants is to take over your domain and bring down your business. We need to stop this company.
Seeking compensation from Netcraft Shareholders
Got contacted by Netcraft telling me my website was taken down because of malware.
Our website is an information website ONLY for our products and is scanned daily for threats. We even contacted the hoist for them to scan our website as we pay them for security and they found nothing... you try to contact Netcraft and get absolutely no where with them and they continue to dog our website… how do we seek compensation?
False Positive - Netcraft is a business destroyer
Netcraft is no longer a trustworthy company.
Their system is now about false flags and false positives. The problem is that they incentivize people for reporting websites and domains even if they are ok and good without any phishing, malware or scam issues as they claim. People will do anything just to get that incentive and that includes, reporting whatever website they want to report. Specially if you want to harm your competitors.
To make things even worst, when you submit a report to fix the flag and change the domain rating, they will say no, based on personal opinions.
I opened a request to fix a flag from a domain, and they left the phishing flag because they said it was redirecting to a product that in THEIR PERSONAL OPINION was a scam. And when you look at the product it’s just a supplement that is no scam at all. So, this means they are not only flagging a domain because of the domain is actually bad, they will flag a website, because of someone just submmitted it, the redirections and their sole personal opinions. Meaning if you sell something, and one of the product that you redirect the page to looks like a scam to them, even if it isn’t, then you may get your entire website flagged.
Netcraft is slowly becoming a business destroyer. You have to be careful with this company.
Hope they really learn how evaluate and assign the domains rating and STOP the incentive program. If they are not to change, then this company need to be taken down.
They send automated false-positive complaints
They send automated false-positive complaints to ISPs and take down inocent websites. Learn how things work or stop harrasing people ! They have no idea what kind of damage they do because they cannot properly identify real threats.
False reporting causing business damage
False reporting, causing problems for developers and business damage.
No response when confronting them via email.
In my case they reported my webpage as phising site directly to hosting provider. Hosting provider declined to take down site as there was nothing malicious. We both reported to Nekster about it and their reply was:
We recently sent you an email informing you of a phishing attack at:
[URL OF REPORTED WEBSITE]
This email was sent in error, please ignore the request to take down the page.
Regards,
Netcraft
This were first hours lost because of their false report. Next day based on their report Google and Microsoft listed page as malicious and clients lost access to webpage. Again we have problems, this time visible to client and a lot of bad mood from everybody.
Again lost hours, lost reputation and business damage.
Sorry Netcraft but you are a joke and your false reports should come with compensation!
Encourages users to submit false positives...
Encourages users to submit false positives with a top list and rewards for quantity of submission. Does not reverse any actions taken and contacts made with third parties are not followed up leaving known false positives blocking potential customers from accessing websites causing loss of revenue. Disinterested in true ratings.
