Horrible! Customer beware! They quote you a low ball price and then once they have your car on one of their affiliate carriers, they hold the car hostage and the driver and broker (Nest) shake you down for more money.

I was originally quoted $700 for NY to FL. Then told $900 as there was a shortage of carriers. We told the broker Nest $900 max is all we will pay. Danny assured me that we would not be charged more.

When the driver picked up the car, 6 hours late, we questioned him and said we paid $250 as a deported and we’d owe him no more the $650 at drop off. We made him confirm and repeat it back.

They also lied. Said the car was in VA when the car reports on our app as in NJ.

Well they now have our car and want $1650 to deliver it and are holding it hostage until we agree to pay the $1650 and if we don’t will charge us storage on top of that while we fight it out. They claim rerouting and cost of insurance as the reasons for the increases. Funny, we drove the same route today behind and never got rerouted.

Do not use this company as they are the worst.

contracted for pick up my auto. never showed up. delays, delays, delays. ‘can’t get ahold of the driver’. driver bit available, you name it all excuses, won’t return calls. kept the deposit. just a terrible company nit speaking good english. foreign answering service.

Good prices and services trust use it

This company will lie and inflate the cost after they pick up your vehicle. They use transporters that will threaten to hide your vehicle unless they are paid double to triple your original cost. The lied to us saying they had to get another driver, then said the 'new' driver didn't have a 9 car haul trailer like the first therefore the 'new' driver couldn't transport it for the original price. Well, guess what... we find out that they never got a 'new driver' the same person that contacted my daughter on Monday is the same person that delivered it a week later, and on a 9 caul haul trailer. The price went from $775 to $1,750 to $2,455. They told us that all the money the driver received upon delivery went directly to him but among the other bogus charges in the last email we received included $150 fee for "Contractually Earned Broker Compensation." During my last conversation with Harry he told me that the transport company (Safe Auto Transport) was acting fishy, yet he never supplied the driver's information as I requested. As a matter of fact, he NEVER provided their information when I asked for it before they picked up our car. Nest Auto received $975 plus fuss/taxes from us and we still had to pay Safe Auto Transport $1,480 to get our car because the driver threaten to hide our car if we didn't pay him. Both companies are liars and extortionists. DO NOT USE THEM. Chris Miles, Harry Anderson and Victor... all liars.

My experience with Nest Auto Transport was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company look elsewhere.

I dealt with a representative who identified himself as Chris Miles. He quoted me $675 to transport my Tesla Model Y from California to New York, and I paid a $150 deposit to secure the booking.

On the day of pickup, after all my moving plans had been finalized and I had no practical alternative, I was suddenly told that the driver would not transport my vehicle for the quoted price and that the total had increased to $1,835. I felt pressured to accept because my car was already scheduled for pickup.

The very next day, the driver contacted me asking for an $800 advance payment, claiming his payment card was not working. I immediately contacted Nest Auto Transport, and Chris Miles told me to pay the driver and assured me that I would only owe the remaining $1,035 when my car was delivered.

Then, just two days before delivery, I received another email demanding an additional $900, increasing my delivery balance from $1,035 to $1,935.

One of the explanations I received was that the driver had encountered traffic, construction, and an accident and had to take a different route. I simply do not understand why that should become the customer’s responsibility. Traffic, road closures, and detours are normal parts of interstate transportation and should not suddenly become unexpected charges after my vehicle is already in transit. I never agreed to these additional costs before they were imposed.

The company also attempted to justify the extra charges with broker compensation, operational infrastructure fees, and other costs that were never disclosed when I booked the shipment.

From my experience, this felt like a bait-and-switch. I was attracted by a low quote, but after my vehicle was in the company’s possession, the price kept increasing, leaving me with very little choice but to pay.

My total cost went from an advertised $675 to $2,085 ($150 deposit + $800 advance + $1,135 increase from the original quote), far more than what I was initially led to expect. Total $2885

My advice is simple: Never trust or use Nest Auto Transport. Get every promise in writing, confirm that your price is truly guaranteed, and be extremely cautious of any company that changes the price after your vehicle has already been picked up.

Based on my experience, I will never use Nest Auto Transport again and cannot recommend them to anyone.

COMPLETE AND UTTER SCAM COMPANY. worst business i’ve ever dealt with BY FAR. you might’ve seen my parents’ review with their own version of the events that unfolded in dealing with these scoundrels, and now, here is my account. they left me waiting for nearly 3 HOURS and our agreed upon pickup time passed with ABSOLUTELY ZERO communication. called multiple times with zero response. the driver, from Safe Auto Transport apparently, who also seem to be scammers, had the audacity to be irritated with me for calling the broker multiple times for any updates or ETA. it’s *totally* not like i’m dropping off my vehicle (and sole transportation method) and therefore need to arrange transportation to get back to where i was staying that depends on them being on time or at least being courteous to call me. then they were late AGAIN with zero communication, resulting in my vehicle unknowingly being left overnight in a mall parking lot at risk of getting towed or STOLEN. then, as i’m under the impression that the vehicle is already in transit per Chris literally agreeing to the already rescheduled pickup day IN WRITING, he contacts me the day after making up some lame excuse for needing to raise the price by double the original rate (which eventually ended up in them demanding 4x the original rate as if they weren’t being GREEDY ENOUGH). afterwards, i go to attempt to pay, where Chris tells me card options of “Visa, Mastercard, and American Express” then tries to backtrack and gaslight me when i say American Express by claiming they suddenly can’t take it. reminder, HE LITERALLY READ THE OPTIONS OUT TO ME AND THERE IS PROOF IN OTHER REVIEWS WHERE THEY SAY THEY TAKE IT. he also had the nerve to say he was doing me a “favor” after trying to lie to me about it, and once again starts getting an attitude with me because i caught him in his lie. then, as previously mentioned, they raise the rate by 4x the original rate and threatened to HIDE MY CAR if not paid in cash upon delivery. yes, HIDE IT. is that not the scummiest tactic you have EVER heard of? there is not a single reputable company on this PLANET that would EVER say that to a customer, but this company isn’t reputable. they have no integrity and are motivated solely by greed. they tell so many lies that they contradict themselves multiple times, it’s almost funny. it’s not even bad enough that they’re scammers, they also happen to be TERRIBLE AT BEING SCAMMERS, so not only do they get 1 star as a business (would give zero if i could), they also get 1 star for being sorry excuses for con artists. and in case someone decides to reply to this and solely blame Safe Auto Transport for the horrendous service we received (bc i’ve seen that you try to deflect blame onto the carrier in other negative reviews), BOTH OF YOU ARE HORRIBLE. you BOTH treated us TERRIBLY and you are BOTH LIARS
