Service abruptly stopped working

Service just abruptly stopped working, NBN dither around testing the NDT for weeks with no resolution in sight and have thus far refused to send out a technician. In the meantime I’m expected to continue paying for a service they’re not providing. Awesome business model.

The technician was meant to come out but…

The technician was meant to come out but said the weather is bad, apart from being overcast and a slight breeze what a load of crap. Worst decision that a government made putting this shiiit in.
And I still have no internet at home.

SHOULD BE ZERO STAR

I am currently working in the telcos sector and acutely aware of the public resentment but customers have so far directed their frustration at telcos instead of NBN Co.

The NBN scandal should be an embarrassment for the federal government who owns NBN Co. Instead of showing dissatisfaction with their retail service providers customers should contact their local MP and/or the Federal Minister for Communications and demand his government to intervene in the whole NBN scandal.

This is not Telstra issue it is NBN

This is not Telstra issue, it is an NBN issue, by a process of elimination.
After 5 months of issues with my Broadband, 2 service visits from Telstra, a new NBN box, 2 new modems, hours and hours of testing and checking, visiting my Telstra shop, emails, my Telstra Consultant could go no further.

Yet I still experience multiple dropouts in a day of 1-3 minutes duration. Just enough to interrupt zoom meetings (for spiritual enrichment not for work), FaceTime family calls and other non strenuous uses.

However, NBN, refuse to come and physically examine if their connection is actually working in the home or simply sending back false positives.

I have fibre to node. Someone suggested that these short but irritatingly frequent breaks might be due to increased building and redevelopment activity and the NBN infrastructure is not coping.

So folks, how do I get NBN to visit and fix my issue? Because I do not want to go through another 5 months of investigations before NBN visit...

Waited 2 weeks for someone from nbn to…

Waited 2 weeks for someone from nbn to come and connect broadband. Two guys arrived looked at the nbn box outside the apartment door, looked inside the door and said that a hole would have to be drilled through the wall for the cable and said that they don't do that. I asked him what he does do and he said he had no time for a smart a**e. The mind boggles at the ineptitude and rudeness.

Cheapskate Australian Government- The failure of Turnbull

They don't just use cheap hybrid technology (fiber to the node) which gives our house hold speeds no faster then 40mbs but the federal government spent a whopping $51 billion on this failed endeavor. My Chinese student friends laughed at us due to the slow internet speeds they experience when they try to have a simple half arced conversation with their parents on skype. We have become the joke of the modern world, when everyone else where but Australia have Fiber to their premises with speeds reaching up to several gb/s, were stuck with 40mb/s, thank you Malcolm Turnbull, technologically you have put Australia 10 years behind the rest of the world.

To make things worse, the people coming to do the NBN connections are more arrogant and lazy then anyone I have ever seen. Not showing up a common syndrome for these overpaid buffoons but when they do show up, they literally just do something near the telephone hub and leave, not even bothering to connect the nbn box they brought in or doing any set up what so ever. Guy literally left the box and tried to leave, stopped him to tell us where we need to connect it up to and he said call NBN. A second NBN tech was sent down to properly finish the installation but that moron got paid for coming by and doing nothing.

I am going to move in to a new building…

I am going to move in to a new building that don’t have NBN installed in the apartment the building dose have NBN but the apartment doesn’t have it installed I tried to talk to Optus they was no help they can’t find my new address and wouldn’t just install the NBN or even book for installation and when I call NBN it self they make excuse of saying high calls and told me to call back and hang up and was really Frustrating.

Bad experience with NBN Co

Contacted NBN Co to find out why the whole neighbourhood has access to NBN except my property and they seemingly can't be bothered providing an explanation.

NBNCo has finally got up and running in…

NBNCo has finally got up and running in our street. They managed to connect every single house except mine. Some how completed missed it.
On contacting NBNCo they explained to me that it was too hard to connect our premises and have no resolution in sight.
They really don't deserve one star.
