Windscreen wasn’t even ready the day I was booked in for so had to book another day when I was working nights so very inconvenient, also my car had dirt marks all on the A posts and dashboard plus dirty foot prints all over my door sills

Fitting of the windscreen seems ok…
Fitting of the windscreen seems ok apart from the screen was left filthy on the inside and covered in hand marks, also never put two fixings back on the plastic bulkhead under the bonnet, to be fair these could have been missing before but I only noticed after the screen had been fitted.

Positive
Positive: when I turned up at the centre, the job was accepted quickly and the job was done quickly.
Negative: I was informed of the date and location by text but not the time. The website said that cars were accepted either first thing in the morning or at lunch. As I live more than 1 hour away, I would have liked to have known the time. I telephoned but still could not get the time. It would have been useful to know it.

Charged for 2 wipers on a 1 wiper car!!!
I have a peugeot 107 which only has ONE windscreenwiper, but your system says it needs 2. So I was invoiced for 2.
Despite assurances from various people that I would only have to pay for one wiper, I ENDED UP PAYING FOR 2.
The management at scunthorpebranch have done nothing. Adam the manager at hull has requested a refund for me but as yet nothing has been forthcoming. WHAT A POOR WAY TO RUN A COMPANY, especially scunthorpe branch. No customer service!!!!

We were told it would take 4hrs on the phone but when we arrived it was only 2 hrs so that was good. Staff were very helpful. No issues with the windscreen.

Less varieties of glass stocked than others.
Unfortunately, unlike previous car glass companies I have used, they did not have the glass I required in stock. This did cause me issues as I needed to get from London to Grimsby before they could stock the window.
Having made it back to Grimsby, things improved. The glass was obtained prior to my return and the technicians arrived for a morning appointment as requested. The replacement glass was replaced without issue and the remaining broken glass was vacuum cleaned away very efficiently and within about 30 minutes.
The technicians were friendly and patient enough to give me time to inspect the work before completion.
Overall satisfactory with just the one issue.

Friendly, helpful. Dropped the car off in the morning before it was due and they kept in contact with me when it finished. Meant I didn’t have to waste a day waiting about. They didn’t take long anyway.

Excellent service fast response and very good quality work
I had chip damage to my windscreen, I contacted National windscreens, via my insurance, on the Wednesday and an appointment was made for the Friday. I was kept informed of the progress of the fitter via text on the day and the fitter telephoned about 30 minutes before arrival to say he was on the way. The fitter was polite and efficient and completed the job within 10 minutes. Cleaned up afterwards. Very impressed with the service I received, would recommend.
