This is the third time now that I have used My Law Matters and each time I have received excellent service.
Kaitlyn and Serena kept me informed in a timely manner throughout the sale, in a polite and courteous manner.
A pleasant experience all round and I can't recommend My Law Matters enough.

we are acting as estate agemts for a client and they were absolutely shocking they were and in my 24 years of doing this job they are quite possibly the worst firm i have come across for a wide variety of reasons throughout the transaction they very nearly cost our client their sale and i would avoid at all costs. They even had to ask the buyers solicitors what they were supposed to be doing !

Can not believe that I was recommended this company through my mortgage advisor. My law matters have completely failed to meet any of their own deadlines (they set themselves) and do not reply to any e-mails that you send them. They will only reply when they feel like its, which could take up to three weeks. They set their emails to 'on annual leave' regularly, I highly doubt the fact they are on holiday. Even my estate agent says they are awful and to avoid at all costs

I would like to sincerely thank Selina for her outstanding help and support throughout my Right to Buy purchase. The process was very stressful and time-sensitive, but Selina remained professional, patient, and supportive at every stage.
She kept me informed, chased the necessary parties, and always explained things clearly. Her dedication and hard work truly made a difficult situation much easier to manage.
I am extremely grateful for everything Selina has done for me and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring solicitor. She is a wonderful professional and a credit to her firm.

This company has been horrible to deal with. they keep saying that each task would take 5 - 7 days. The employees, such as, Sereena do not reply unless messaged, repeatedly. Each 5-7 day task takes up to 20 days to complete. Lazy and uprodcutive company

It took so long to get anything done. Only just received this.

Disgusting. Awful. Avoid like the plague, for your own sanity.
It took this company 2 months to give us only a summary of my fathers will. In this time, despite asking numerous times and them making multiple excuses as to why they couldn't retrieve it, we asked if they could tell us what wishes my father made around burial/cremation. They told us he didn't make any wishes, only to then read the will 8 weeks after the funeral, that he wanted to be cremated. My father was buried, against his wishes, as this information was withheld.
Sarah Waugh, the director of our case, alongside her team have been nothing but difficult, problematic and negligent. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about her or this firm and all I can advise is DO NOT USE/ TRUST THEM.
Their careless errors have created irreversible decisions which will weigh heavy on us for a long time. They have made our grieving process 100x harder, wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy.

Horrible communication, or none in that case. Made our first house’s purchase a nightmare. What should have been a simple no chain (literally moving into empty home) process became a 6months waiting game. No communication whatsoever for the first 4months, started calling every other day after that but could never get through to solicitor or the legal assistant as the number she gave either wasn’t correct or she would never pick that up, couldn’t even leave the voicemail because it was full. Had to call the main office to the My law matters every time to be redirected to anyone from the case otherwise no one would ever contact me themselves. If I didn’t call we probably would have still be in process. Thankfully we completed after this dreadful 6months and never have to use them again. We didn’t even choose them ourselves. MyFirstMortgage ‘recommended’ them to us and since it was a first ever purchase we didn’t know any better. Little did we know.. I don’t recommend them to anyone who wants to complete asap as all they do is ignore you, your case and anyone else involved until you escalate it for the 100th time. Don’t know how they’re still in business.

Absolutely abhorrent service.

Anjeela Wakeel is nigh on impossible to reach and has provided no meaningful updates on our conveyancing matter despite numerous requests.

They requested extra payment shortly before completion which held us over a barrel and meant we had no choice but to pay. This is not ethical behaviour. And to top this off the firm will not provide proof of any efforts to register our ownership and over 18 months from completion we are left questioning if they have done their job properly. A very worrying and upsetting experience all round.

Please do better for your clients.

We took 2 years and conveyancing still not completed, I lost 2000 £ because they have not told me about the expiring terms.
I need to move urgently but ignoring me, direct phone of solicitor quite always full of messages and not available, responses by emails taking ages.
They promising you to do things, but in the end nothing move.
Land Registry suspended the application complaining about missing points and document too.

Fast and reliable staff. Very helpful with any information needed. Would recommend and use them again. Had solicitors Noreen Niaz and Savan very caring and helpful people.

I was given the details of MY LAW MATTERS from a conveyancing website. The communication is absolutely awful

I have a buyer first time. Yes they require a mortgage. I, seller am mortgage free and buying a property that is vacant. 5 months now!

My estate agent has been in their case so have I! The other lawyers in the chain are perplexed: I have contacted the ombudsman to make them aware of how poor they are

This company is a joke. They never update you, never call you back when you leave a message and always refer you to the portal for updates. The portal has never had an update unless I have actually spoken to someone. This was a straight forward purchase with no chain to hold things up. We are now 5 months in and still no completion date. Avoid this company at all costs
