Having been taking my vehicles here for tires/services for many years.The staff are always friendly and efficient, never had a problem.

They were fully booked during the short week, and I turned up with car that had broken down - faulty alternator. They said to leave it with them and they'd sort it out for me, which they did - and I was back on the road the next day.

I booked my vehicle in for a possible puncture/tyre replacement. I dropped my car off with no worries. I was called by the manager to advise me that it would not be a repair, but a replacement. He advised me over the phone that the cost would be $279 for a 'cheap, Chinese tyre'. I said 'No problems, can you make the change and put the current spare on the car and the replacement as the new spare.' He said that was no worries.

When I returned to pick up my car, the spare not secured in the normal position and I questioned this. The mechanic on the desk went to look at my car and also questioned it, she asked the manager who said that it was as tight as it could be. I said why was it not seated properly? The manager said ‘Just make him happy’. I was asked to help with the installation of the spare which was done successfully. When it came to payment I had an Australian Partners Of Defence (APOD) (As I am an Australian Veteran) discount for 10% off services, including tyres. I asked for this to be applied to which the mechanic was told they do not do defence discount. I said that this was not a defence discount, but a subscription discount and gave her my phone to show the manager. She came in saying that he would not honour the offer. Then she called up the final bill which was almost $350. I questioned that saying that I was told over the phone that the cost was $279. The manager was asked about this and I was charged the $279 (most likely to get me out of the store).

After I paid, I found all of the car’s tools spread out over the boot and the rear box unsecured.

I am not satisfied with this level of ‘service’ and now am going to find a different mechanic to service my vehicle. I am most likely going to never use MyCar again due to this experience. I will also be advising APOD of the disregard for the 10% discount offer.

Super easy to book car in for tyres through website. Checking my car is was easy and same with collection. Great communication whilst they had my car. Took only the time allocated to complete the job.

Excellent I phoned the business last minute spoke with team member Anthony and he advised to drop my vehicle down, and that they find a slot to take a look at my vehicle, not long 1hr or so after I left my car in there hands I received a phone call for the occurred matter to where they sent me quote and got straight down to work, my car was fixed same day 3hrs later, very happy with the outcome and quick response.
