I bought two front tyres during a promotion and got a great deal. The tyres are of very good quality and the customer service was excellent. There was some confusion about the free wheel alignment offer, but the staff were very helpful and looked after me. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend them.
I called in to have a my spare tire…
I called in to have a my spare tire fixed as it had a nail in recently... staff member was good and told me i need a new tyre, ok i said... $250.00 for a like replavement, I said I'll have two, left car and had a call to pick up later (all good). Invoice is for two tyres at $275.00 each (inv.60487748) plus wheel alignment, I was/am too embassed to go back and ask for my $50.00 back ???

I would give 'mycar' no stars but cannot report the incident without highlighting one.
I entered the office, handed over the keys and wanted to discuss the product options for the cars second service. I was told it would be a $299 service but I thought the $249 one was more applicable. I attempted to discuss this but was told when it was ready for pick up they'd call and costs would be discussed. Noone called so in the afternoon I did. They said it was ready but when asked, did not discuss costing.
On arrival there was noone in the office. I waited ten minutes then entered the workshop to find someone to assist. A customer service attendant could not find the details for my car and could not locate the car. He suggested "It was out back". After thirty minutes, answering questions about the vin number, when the car was purchased etc the attendant had attempted to complete what he could and needed to get someone else to assist.
Eric, the man I'd initially spoken to in the early morning came to the desk to take over.
His manner was dismissive, rude and condesending.
I asked questions about the advertisement on the wall behind him that detailed the product. I needed clarification of what had been done and a price costing. I mentioned I didn't need roadside assist as I had it already with another company. He responded, "It's free". I explained I didn't require it regardless. I saw that the same amount of fluid was put in the car, in both packages and similarly, digital checks were performed. I noted that tyres were checked and rotated in the more expensive package so asked whether that was completed on my car.
In a turse tone he said the car had only done 25,000kms so "no, why would they be".
I said I would purchase the lower service package as it met my cars needs. I requested the log book be stamped. He responded I had to have the higher one to get my book stamped. When asked had he in fact stamped the book his response was "No" the book could not be found. He said he would stamp it when it was located of which I was appreciative.
When I'd called earlier the other man had mentioned it was missing so I called various places to see if it had been left at the previous service centre or at home but I mentioned it should have been in the glove box as it is not used by me.
I reiterated I had wanted to clarify the difference between servicing packages when I called regarding pick up. He responded, "I told you when I called you." I explained he had not called me, I called him and was still awaiting costing confirmation. He responded "I called you! Who cares who called who anyway!" and tossed the keys at me over the desk, rudely adding that I thought he was 'scamming me' when in fact I was trying to clarify product details.
I tried to explain this but he was abrupt, condescending, rude and aggressive in his manner and with his words.
He raised his voice and said, "You're just like all the customers like you who think we're scamming them!"
I was shocked, offended and felt unwell.
He turned his back on me and walked out of sight.
I stood there in the wake of this experience without knowing where to locate my car.
There was nobody around and I couldn't get out the back. I found the car outside on the opposite side of the petrol station. When I got in I noticed all the contents of the glove box were strewn on the front passenger seat (I have photographic evidence) and in plain sight sat the log book!
Feeling uncomfortable and anxious I decided to go back in and get it signed. I located a man working on a car in the workshop and he completed it for me. Eric, the 'disrespectful face' of 'mycar' was nowhere to be seen!

Ahmed, Eric's right hand man was no longer working there. Such a shame. He was such a respectful warm-hearted guy and what he didn't know about cars wasn't worth knowing!
