This is the worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic. I had a few concerns with my car which I expressed apon booking and also asked for a basic service. The mechanic advised me that my car had no major issues but there was some normal wear and tear of a car of its age and KMs which may need to be looked at in the future. Apon picking up my car I was given a list of issues to which a different mechanic chose to give me a lecture about how Victorians didn't maintain their cars and he's always worried when he drives in the rain and see cars with VIC number plates and wonders if they're road worthy and told me that my car wouldn't pass a road worthy and muttered something about it being a busy time of year. Never have I taken my car to a mechanic have they found a problem and have they not offered to fix it for me, instead they said you should get it looked at early next year which was 2 weeks away.... One of the issues list was cracked control arms which can cause your wheel to detach from your car, they didn't offer to book me in at a later date or advise me what early next year meantime or KMs wise just belittled me for it being a problem my car had and acted like I would be unwilling to pay to keep my car safe and reliable.

My car actually has a full service and log book history of regular services it's whole life and this is the first time I've been sent away with problem that make my car unsafe and un roadworthy. What a joke of a business, clearly incompetent beyond doing an oil change I probably could have done myself....

The process of getting car booked in was easy and quick. The location is excellent as while you wait, it is close to shops, gyms, cafes and centennial park. The person working there was lovely to deal with - friendly, honest and helpful. Because of this excellent experience, I would definitely consider going there for other car needs

Thanks to the team at Mycar Randwick today. They went above & beyond in doing a minor repair to my car at very short notice so i could travel safely interstate over Christmas. The manager & staff were very helpful & knowlegeable, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended for car service & repairs in the Sydney region. Thanks so much.! Mark
