Good all round service

Was on time and great communication

Got a discount for logbook service in February. Bargain deal and better than VW servicing.

First experience with mycar Tyre & Auto, I booked my wife’s car in for a rego check at Macquarie branch and to check the tyre pressure warning. I booked it in online easy process for Saturday 12.00pm to 2 pm. Dropped it off and my wife and I returned two hours later. Her car was still parked in the same spot, when we enquired, the manager apologised and asked if we could wait another half hour as they had not looked at the vehicle yet? I waited and the car was ready 45 minutes later, all passed and they had sorted the tyre pressure warning. Which was great, just a bit disappointing it was not ready after the two hour slot. All the staff were polite and helpful.

Amazing customer service at MyCar Macquarie Centre. I was extremely happy with the wonderful approach to customer service by Anthony and Rob who looked after my every need. They were super professional, kind and helpful not to mention very knowledgeable. I cannot recommend them more highly! Thank you gents! See you next time!

New tyres are great!

On arrival I noted the work to be done was incorrectly documented… I ordered 2 rear tyres, not 4 tyres

I called on the Monday prior to the Thursday booking to establish a booking time. 10.30am was agreed. On arrival at 10.32am I was told it would be likely 1.00pm when the car would be ready … 2 1/2 hours to change 2 tyres and a wheel alignment. Not happy.

The work was actually completed close to 3pm. 4 1/2 hours for 2 tyres and a wheel alignment. If 10.30am was not available / realistic, why book me in for then?

The biggest concern / complaint was that the wheel alignment was undertaken whilst the old tyres were still on the car. Why would you want to undertake a wheel alignment using old, worn out tyres? Why not set the car’s suspension using the brand new tyres being purchased. When I questioned this, indicating that in my experience wheel alignments were done after tyres are replaced, I was mocked by a mechanic because I indicated that a quick Google search agreed with me. I did not appreciate the mocking comment.

Whilst the mechanic did agree to redo the wheel alignment after changing the rear tyres (is rework part of the reason why myCar has poor booking schedules?) I was not satisfied with the attitude shown. As a result I placed a call with myCar Headquarters to ask what “myCar standard practice” is in relation to wheel alignments. I was informed that standard practice was for wheel alignments to be done AFTER changing tyres. So why does Macquarie Centre myCar not know this? I requested Headquarters to call myCar Macquarie Centre to discuss wheel alignment timing standard practice. I hope that call was made.

I was hugely disappointed with the overall experience. 2 star rating is only due to the Pirelli sale that I took advantage of … I would have scored 0 stars for service if that was possible.

As I mentioned to Anthony (guy behind the counter), I will NOT be back to myCar … I own 3 cars, am a car enthusiast and plan to discuss my experience with those in my circle.

I would be happy to discuss my experience with someone from Headquarters, with the view to improving the Customer experience of myCar Macquarie Centre future customers. As started above, I will not be back, but if it helps others, I am Ok to have a call.

The team here have been taking care of our old Peugeot for years and they do a great job of keeping it going.

I was told to bring the car to check the air-conditioning situation and would take about 30-90min. I had a meeting to get to and I have indicated prior to bringing it in as well but the communication wasn't very accurate and nor was it kept as a consideration of my personal circumstances.

I ended up paying for uber X 2 to get my car to be serviced for $295 which I thought was bit expensive too.

I was visiting my daughter in the city over the long weekend when I unfortunately ended up with a flat tyre. mycar was the closest shop to me, so I headed straight there hoping for the best.
​Even though they were completely fully booked, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They understood my situation, managed to squeeze me in, and got the tyre fixed quickly so I could get back on the road.
​I honestly can’t thank them enough for the amazing service. I fully recommend them to anyone looking for a team that goes above and beyond!

Excellent price and great service. Purchased a set of Pirelli tires as part of the Black Friday sales and arranged for the tires to be fitted in mid Jan. Dropped car off in the morning and it was ready to go by the end of the day. Thank you for the great service.

Quick easy and nice service

Polite and considerate staff. And I do appreciate the discount I received as expenses are getting higher these days.

The guys here are always really helpful and look after my car when it’s there. I’ll always bring my car back to mycar Macquarie Centre.
