I am always well looked after by Ismail and the team at My Car Cotham Road. They go above and beyond to ensure my old car is in good shape. I travel nearly 35 km's to get my car serviced/repaired because of Ismail and the team's great customer service.

Never had a problem here. What more can I say.

The staff explained in detail what needed doing, were friendly, communicated promptly re time needed and pickup, and discussed future options. Invaluable advice when you have an old car

Prompt attention to an up front rattle…fitted new stabiliser bars …car driving now like new.

Ishmael Was incredibly helpful. He arranged an appointment and the car was ready in the time frame promised. He was very polite and informative when choosing new tyres.

Have been to these guys in Kew 4-5 times and often buy my petrol from there too, the service guys and the way the whole team runs is really helpful. They don’t intimidate, they’re supportive. They’re helpful & always welcoming. I trust them and I appreciate everything that they do for me. I’m not car savvy because it’s boring LOL, but they’re always patient and good to me so thank you very much. Highly recommend them too!

I was very impressed with Ismail I arrived early this morning without an appointment he was extremely helpful in replacing my front low beam globes. Very much appreciated .

Outstanding service from Ismail in sourcing a part for me urgently and at low cost. Went to great trouble and made numerous calls to track it down. Could not be more satisfied with customer service.

Drove into MyCar kew for a tyre repair, I parked outside the work area (could not see any designated customer parking). A mechanic with grey hair immediately started started yelling as I pulled in, not to park there, that customers need to get in and out. I told him I was a customer. He seemed very agitated and I drove down to another mechanic instead.

Presumable they have people parking there going to the service station and that is what he thought I was doing but there seem to be nowhere for customers to park either. I would not want to deal with a mechanic who is in such an angry state of mind.

Young apprentice was very helpful when doing my tyres

on 20/12/2022 I had advised the Kew store that after i had a serpentine belt replaced from a mobile mechanic that my car began to over heat after a 30 min drive, they replaced my Thermostat on 20/12/2022 at a cost of $290 including labour, straight after paying i drove the car home and it overheated again, i drove back and advised the Manager Kenny and he said he replaced the thermostat because i mentioned it could be that, no diagnosis done by the Kew store and no refund given! or offered.
Ken said bring it back next week and they will diagnose it, i left the vehicle with the Kew Store for a week and they could not workout what was the problem, i also got the car back with the diesel fuel on empty not happy as it had at least a quarter of a tank when it was dropped of.

i would like a full refund of the cost of the thermostat and approx $25 for diesel fuel used by the Kew store.

I took the vehicle to a competent mechanic who found that the problem was that the new serpentine belt was put on wrong by the mobile mechanic and it should have been picked up and put on right instead of replacing any parts like the thermostat.

Friendly and helpful. Great service at a reasonable price.

ive taken my car there thrice but they on sending me back with the same issue. asking me to book again as it will take them long to fix it. why not just fix it once and save their time long term of me coming back, or is it a money grab scheme?????
