Brilliant service by your staff.
This is the second time I have been to the store, and it consistently impresses.

I booked for a basic service prior to driving to Adelaide in a secondhand car I just purchased, and asked for them to check over for things I needed to repair. I received a quote of almost $4,000 for work that I apparently needed. They told me I needed a wheel alignment (the car got one 2 weeks prior to the service), was told I needed a new brake pads and rotors and fluid, that I needed my suspension done, needed new windscreen wipers and a bunch of other things done. I asked how much the brakes would be, they said $600 roughly. I drove to Adelaide and took the car to the mechanic my family sees and who looked after my previous car. Turns out none of what they said needed to be done, my rotors were machined down but my brakes were near new. Repaired a front wheel bearing that mycar didn’t apparently pick up on and said the bushes on the suspension are fine but should get done in the next logbook service. They were horrified by the quote I received and said they were clearly taking advantage of me as a young women thinking I didn’t know any better. Will never be returning to mycar and will continue to support small, local mechanics who don’t try to rip you off.

Rene in charge of the Brunswick store is always excellent and very courteous in attending to customers. He has been an asset to Mycar Tyre & Auto, I have been patronising him since he was at Preston store. I give big kudos to him; he's a very nice guy.

Good communication with the office. Clear advice, really pleasant to deal with. Car service was timely and efficient. Really pleased with the result.

my car was not ready the day promised. It was in for brake issues and a power steering leak.the mechanic said the power steering issue was a hose and to take it to Mitcham Power Steering to get it fixed. This was despite mycar claiming to be power steering experts on the internet. When I picked up the car the next day it had no pedal. travelled to about 10 mm from the floor.
They bled the system again but is not near the level it was when I took it in.
The mechanic said the car is far too old and complicated. He also said the master cylinder may need renewing. If this was the case surely he would have told me this before handing the car back. It is a 1987 Commodore Berlina in fully restored condition. It is insured with Shannons for $50,000.
I realise the branch had staff issues but this should not be my problem.
Only a week or 2 before I spent about $800,and was happy with the job. You are only as good as your last job.

today I have my car repair with flattered ...

I would have appreciated my tyres being inflated and car washed but generally the service is prompt and reliable. I was expecting a text or call when the car was ready or to tell me some extras were required. I had to call to check this. I appreciate they are very busy and will be sure to call myself. I was told the car would be ready around midday so will be sure to call myself next time.

Staff were very diligent and supportive and service was done properly in time without any issues. Totally recommend it, Junior and Tonyare legends!

The team worked hard to fix our cars problems, now it runs like new. They included all new hub caps, and courtesy car. Great team, I highly recommend them!

They fixed a noise rattling under my car that insurance repairs couldn’t locate. Very helpful
