Customer service experience
I booked my car in online for basic service at 1.30pm, selected a 3.45pm pickup time, prepaid online, and also noted in the booking that I needed globe and wiper blades.
When I arrived, the front desk staff member came across quite abrupt and repeatedly told me they would not have time to do any extra work because of the late booking. I explained that I had already included the globe and wipers in the booking notes, but I felt talked over rather than listened to. I understood larger repairs may need quoting, but a globe and wipers seemed fairly straightforward.
I returned at my selected pickup time and noticed the car had not yet been moved. Eventually they completed the service and later advised the globe and wipers needed replacing- which were the exact items I had requested at booking. They sourced the globe from Repco across the road and were only able to get the front wipers , which was perfectly fine.
The actual service work seemed fine in the end and staff completely work were polite. However, the customer service experience at the front desk and communication throughout the process could definitely be improved. I later noticed I had been charged for 3 wiper blades instead 2, although they are happy for me to return for a refund.
Overall, not a terrible experience, but a smoother process and better communication would make a big difference.

We have used mycar for years now and have always been extremely happy, however, we recently had a car of ours serviced that we were getting ready for our son to start learning to drive and it came back to us with a warning on the dash for the Tyre Monitoring System. When I picked the car up nothing was mentioned about this. As this was not a log book service I had asked what was involved before booking the car in and was told they would scan for faults. I feel if this was done they would have noticed that there was a fault and either fixed it or contacted me to ask if I wanted it fixed… regards Frank

What went wrong this time
What went wrong this time? What kind of negative stupid question is that to start the 'rate my experience'. Then ask me how to give my review a title?
Very poor customer service and bad communication.
1. Clean the rims and paint the tyres black or clean them before handing my car back late. There was pink stuff all over the rims and the tyres were dull and dirty.
2. If Kmart is going to say they will call when my car is finished. Can they DO exactly that, instead of leaving me hanging around the Shopping Centre. I waited for 3 ½ hours. Guy at the desk gas-lights me when I check to see if my car is ready - says 'good timing'. All round bad service and a terrible experience.
I had a very unpleasant experience
I had a very unpleasant experience that left me deeply disturbed. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. He hung up the phone on me multiple times and was not patient enough to listen.
When I visited the office, he walked away to serve another customer while I was still speaking.
I calmly mentioned that if he was having a bad day, he shouldn’t take it out on me, his body language became aggressive and he used inappropriate and offensive language.
I am not trying to exaggerate the situation I simply want to bring this to your notice so that no one else has to go through a similar experience in the future.
