the tag do not alert unless the app is open and the band is a choking hazard to easy to chew off in one bit from a child along the back open should be something the snap over to avoid removal of the device by child

The product does not do what I thought it would do... its different than described by the website. I’ve reached out for support twice now, once with a question about use and then with a question regarding returns, and have not had a reply at all.

Great idea but this thing is crap and a waste of money. It is not accurate and very inconsistent. It goes off with the kids only 10 ft away while set to the "Far" setting. EXTREMELY disappointed. We really wanted this to work, and now we are outside the return window...

Great to travel with my three year old twins at airports and other crowded places. Makes me feel better in case they get lost!

I used it on my autistic 20 year old
it gives me some peace of mind although the watch rings out even when he goes outside to swing!
I have 2 suggestion
make longer watch straps so older special need can use the watch too
2.gps sometimes dose,nt give exact location if he,s travelling in a car beyond 10 miles or so
good looking and damage proof especially the rubber one
would recommend definitely

This band is great for keeping track of our active 8 year old daughter. Tends to go off randomly but even so it means you keep a closer eye on where they are which is a good thing.

doesnt work in water and came with a missing part

I bought a buddy tag off of Zulily and the first time I daughter wore it it broke so I contacted them and there was nothing they could do so they said I then contacted buddy tag directly and Maria was so quick and so friendly and has my buddy tag replacement on the way already amazing customer service at buddy tag not so much at Zulily

The best customer service ever. I emailed them while eating breakfast, my problem was solved before lunch and a package with new tags shipped before end of that day. Awesome product, awesome customer service.

The map that shows your child's last location is blank, & customer service won't respond to calls or emails. I regret buying this!

My sons bracelet broke just trying to get the tracker out of it. I emailed the company explaining what happened and they mailed me two new bracelets! The customer service agent Maria was very nice and understanding. She was quick to mail out a replacement. Amazing customer service!!

Purchasing my buddy tag and using it had been unbelievably frustrating. Instead of adding peace and mind it has caused more anxiety if anything. It constantly alerts us to check on our children even when they are right next to us. The distance is not accurate and when you do want to check on your child there is no arrow indicator to let you know which direction to look. We feel like this is a waste of money and have not referred this product to any of our friends with children. The app could use some serious upgrades. The concept is good and the potential is there but this product has been a big disappointment for our family. We bought 4 buddy tags.

Doesn't work. My 3yo gets 150ft (approx 50m) on the 'near' setting and it still has 1/5th of the proximity bar left before the alarm will go off. Presuming on the 'far' setting, he'll be able to go shopping on his own to the next town!!!!

All the promo videos show the proximity alarm going off far closer than I'm able to accomplish. The Buddy Tag Team have now gone quiet to my emails too.

Basically don't waste your money.

UPDATED: Maria has responded and been super helpful. A replacement or refund offered promptly too. I'm going to try another tag and see if it's a faulty unit. Given an average rating due to the unit not working as expected (up from 1 star) but customer services have been helpful.

We haven’t used it yet, but I am disappointed in that no written instructions were sent with the device. The instructional video is very difficult to understand, the female voice sounds very jumbled and she talks way too fast. The screens shown on the video do not match what shows up
on my phone. It was nearly impossible to program email addresses, it took a long time for the app to finally allow entering an address. Each time I switch to a different screen, the distance indicator switches to far, even though each time I have selected near. I am totally unimpressed so far!
