5 stars for My-iclinic. Great customer service and excellent care from Dr Bolger. He never rushes you and spends time discussing symptoms, treatment etc and all advice has been spot on. It's far from where we live but it's worth it!

I had cataract procedures done last month . All the members of the staff were very efficient , polite and competent. The whole experience from the initial examination to the post procedure check up was very efficiently managed.

Excellent service and result met my full expectations. I would recommend without any reservation.

I had SMILE surgery two days ago and I already have 20/20 vision. My eyes are still adjusting so fluctuate slightly, but I was told about this beforehand so I am not worried. The reception team are really friendly and I enjoyed having all the tests done, which was very thorough. I booked my consultation for the 3rd June and had my surgery on the 10th June. On the day of my surgery I was taken into a room beforehand and everything was explained to me, what was going to happen, eye drop care (it's all explained on a sheet so you don't have to remember it), and the 4 people in the room when I was having my surgery were so friendly, kind, and really reassuring. I was given a teddy to hold during my surgery (which you get to keep) which is a really touching thought. Mr. Bolger explained every step as he was performing my surgery and kept saying things like "It's going perfectly" which was very reassuring to me. I really enjoyed the surgery itself (strange as that sounds), and immediately after the operation my eyesight was hazy (as explained to me) but already, within minutes, I could read things I would never have been able to before. They made me a cup of tea afterwards and gave me some biscuits and checked on me. When I was at home, they rang me during the early afternoon to make sure I was OK, which I thought was really good. I would recommend having laser eye surgery here as I felt/continue to feel looked after. Looking forward to my future follow ups here. For the record I am a 28 year old female who was a -3 in both eyes and now have 20/20 vision. Woohoo! Thank you so much to everyone at My-iclinic. They gave me the best gift I could ever dream of - fantastic eyesight. You are all brilliant! :)

I attended the clinic with my daughter. From reception through to Mr Bolger, everyone was very friendly and professional. My child felt well looked after and relaxed. She asked. Mr Bolger some questions which he responded in the most professional and child friendly manner. This clinic is highly recommended and I will definitely visit again.

I contacted My-iClinic for them to perform cataract surgery on both my eyes. The initial appointment was arranged within two weeks and the surgery performed the following week. A lot of tests on my eyes on various machines was part of the initial appointment with the results shown to me on a screen and discussed at length with John Bolger who subsequently performed the operation.
The results for me are a revelation! Prior to the operation I was told that light levels in my eyes were down to 20% of that available. I have worn glasses for short sightedness since the age of 5 with that aspect worsening progressively over the years.
I am now free of glasses (including driving and watching tv) with the exception of reading small print for which I use reading glasses. Light levels and colours are brighter, more vivid and so much clearer of course. My eyes settled down and 10 days after the operation I no longer need drops to moisten my eyes (I suffer to a degree from blepharitis which with the use of a heated eye mask and massage once a day helps in this respect)
Having both eyes treated at one session worked well for me but it certainly helps in this case to have a partner available to assist with routine tasks once home. Wearing the protective eye shields for the first 24 hours (and the tape to secure them) obscures one’s vision never mind your dilated pupils and general recovery in your vision. My eyes not surprisingly perhaps felt “tired” for 2-3 days and it took me a good few days for me to recover my energy levels and 4/5 days after the operation or more for my vision to adjust to the increased light levels.
However this is all very tolerable as the results (especially in my case being so short sighted for nearly all my life) are so wonderful.
My greatest thanks to John Bolger and his team for the excellent treatment and reassurance he provided me with throughout from the initial meeting through to the follow up meeting 8 days after surgery as well.

I was very nervous but the friendly professional staff put me at ease. My Consultant Ms Bola Odufuwa explained every step of the procedure and advised me to have both eyes done. I was amazed at the technology, the procedure was painless, and instant. Ms Odufuwa gave me my eyesight back, it’s a brand new world. I would highly recommend My-iClinic to anyone who is suffering from cataracts.

I can fully recommend My-iClinic as they are professional and extremely friendly. I was very nervous about having my cataract surgery and extremely anxious. However, upon arrival I was made to feel completely at ease and Mr Bolger put all my concerns to rest. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I came to My-iClinic to have my cataract operation. The receptionist was professional and friendly as were the staff who performed the tests necessary for my consultant appointment. The booklet I was given to read was so informative I had very few more questions to ask.
On the big day I was reassuringly prepared for the op which has been extremely successful. Thank you

Mr Bolger (My-Clinic) was recommended to me by a friend of mine, who is an eye surgeon, to be the best hand in the country. My experience came true to expectation. I am extremely happy with the result of my cataract operation by Mr Bolger and the excellent post-op care. I am also grateful to Mr Bolger’s surgical team and staff at My-Clinic.

Both my wife and I recently attended My-iClinic at Finchley for laser eye surgery and the outcome was very successful. But more than that the team here are very professional and everything is handled with a minimum of fuss whilst also being extremely polite and courteous. Even Oscar our little white terrier was made feel welcome!

I could not be happier with my “new eyes” (cataract surgery). I was very nervous and the team at the centre all went out of their way to put me at my ease. I found my consultation with Mr Bolger reassuring as he was able to it the risks into perspective. I am pleased I trusted his advice to have both eyes operated on at the same time. I can now see how unbalanced I would have been for weeks if I had had one eye operated on at a time.
