I am trying to find out information on presbyond, and options. And why they are so much cheaper than others on fsce of it.

The first person to answer the phone said (no qualifications in optometry), the competition is technician led, I said stop up selling just explain the differences. And not true as call Inwas off with another company was with an optician on teams.

Second person also not qualified manager, then finally admits prices are not fixed at £4800 not all inclusive, and may rise after visit.

Hmm, not at all transparent these guys, not trusted. And moreso noone getting presbyond in two years reviews them.. woman manager quoted , wait for it ,'under 1000,' a year get laser surgery, what does that mean I ask, ten people? Eventually she says 900-1000 a year get presbyond there, hmmm, I highly doubt it and no-one in two years writes a review on trust pilot...making up stuff the staff at that place... Owners you should fix it

My-iClinic in Whetstone, North London is, quite simply, the best. I went there for a bilateral cataract procedure, and the surgical team's depth of technical expertise, professionalism, care and empathy are all beyond compare. The results speak for themselves, but I will also do so anyway: following the procedure, I now have vision better than at any point in my life to date, even with contacts. All my thanks go to Bola and her team. My advice: if you have vision issues, do not waste your time going anywhere else- go to My-iClinic and say I sent you!!

Excellent and efficient YAG laser procedure from a very courteous and professional team.

Thourough examination and detailed consultation session to understand causes of myopia and options to limit future growth. We feel comfident that we we have a good plan and undestand the issues.

I was very impressed with my recent experience when visiting the My-iClinic for the purposes of undergoing cataract surgery.
The clinic environment was relaxing and the staff were friendly and helpful
The consultants, Mr Bolger and Mrs Odufuwa, being very experienced in their field, explained the procedure in detail and their confidence in a successful outcome particularly for bilateral cataract surgery was very reassuring.
Follow up care was also very satisfactory

I was recommended My-iClinic and from start to finish I was very impressed. Everyone was very pleasant, professional and efficient as numerous (painless!) tests were carried out on my eyes, culminating in almost magical cataract extractions and new lens insertions by ophthalmic surgeon Mr John Bolger through an incision 1.8mm long! Almost immediately everything seemed brighter and I haven't looked back. Thoroughly recommended!

My mother was extremely worried when she found out she needed cataract surgery and we were extremely lucky to have come across My-iClinic in North Finchley which was recommended by her opticians in Whetstone. From the thorough consultation with Dr Bola through to the final stages of the actual surgery with the fantastic Dr Yvonne and her whole team, my mother came out with a huge smile on her face today. I cannot thank My-iClinic enough for how wonderful you have been. Thank you to your fantastic receptionist, thank you to Michaela and Lina, thank you to the wonderful nurses who were there with my mother throughout the whole, very difficult procedure and held her hand. The clinic is very beautiful. Feels so cosy and warm. Super clean. I am terrified of clinics yet My-iClinic made me feel so at ease whilst I was waiting for my mother. We are extremely happy and would only ever come back to you all. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Upon recommendation, I recently made the decision to go to My-iClinic for a cataract operation, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions of my life. From the initial consultation right through to the followup, the care, compassion, professionalism and dedication of Mr. Bolger and his team were second to none. Both my eyes underwent surgery, and although this can be a daunting experience for the patient, the surgery, support and aftercare made sure that my experience was as comfortable and pleasant as it possibly could be. Support is a vital part of recovery, and this support was always available, either in person or on the phone. The operation has made a huge difference to my eyesight and my outlook on life - literally! My regular optometrist was also very impressed with the results of the surgery when I attended a post-op appointment with him after the prescribed six weeks. Many thanks once again to Mr. Bolger and his excellent team.

The procedure is painless a d straight forward.The results are life changing.The clinic is very thorough looking after your wellbring,your health and make g sure the operation was a success.Okay is very reassuring and committed to her craft

Two years ago i had both Cataracts operated on
at the same time by Mr Bolger and his incredible team.
The results were awesome, the recovery time was amazing.
Since then i have had Laser work on both eyes by Dr Bola - Bolger also a tremendous success.

I was nervous about having my second cataract done because of a bad experience elsewhere with my first cataract but everyone I met at My-iclinic was calm, reassuring, kind and helpful and I felt I was in good hands

I had cataract surgery and eyelid surgery at My-I clinic recently. They were extremely thorough and professional. The staff are polite and well trained. Nurses Mercy and Catalina were so kind and helpful. The surroundings are clean and modern with state of the art equipment. Thank you My-iClinic !

Some years ago I chose My-iClinic to have a double Cataract operation which has changed my life considerably. I now have almost perfect vision without needing glasses or lenses. From the initial consultation right through to post-op, I couldn't have been cared for any better. Mr Bulger has created an excellent team.

Recently, I revisited the clinic for my annual examination which revealed that one of my eyes had become a little lazy. I met with the very thorough Fatima, the resident Optometrist & Orthoptist who quite simply put my eyes in the gym with a series of exercises to be completed at home I am happy to report that after 3 weeks I am beginning to notice improvement. Without hesitation, I would unreservedly recommend My-iClinic.

I highly recommend this clinic for anyone seeking medical advice, treatment, or eye surgery! The receptionists and nurses were extremely professional and reassuring.
The atmosphere was calm, clean, and quiet. I accompanied a patient for cataract surgery on both eyes, and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else!
Dr. Shelia Luk was an incredible surgeon, highly skilled and very professional. The patient felt comfortable speaking in Cantonese, and Dr. Luk, being bilingual, explained everything thoroughly, leaving no questions unanswered.
I do remember one of the nurses, Angila, who was very polite, professional and explained the entier process in each and every detail. Reaching out to someone was also very easy and the responses I received were immediate. This clinic is nothing compared to the NHS! easy 5 star from us!

I had a consultation with the consultant and when I asked her if there were any risks to having laser eye surgery, she literally told me not to think about the risks?!?! Surely she has an ethical duty to help me make an informed decision in order to get my fully informed consent. She completed refused to go through any of the risks and discuss any concerns I had. I walked away feeling like nothing more than a money sign to her and very much gas lit, needless to say, I did not go back. I have had considerably better conversations with other surgeries.

Booked in to have a chalazion removal. All of the good reviews are just about cataract surgery. DO NOT go here for stye/chalazion removal. The whole process was poorly explained with a rude consultant, no after care offered or anything. Very heavy handed during the checks and kept poking me in the eye. I've had many eye examinations and none made me as uncomfortable. The consultant did the procedure and left the room immediately. It was like a turnstile where you just insert £600 and they just rush around slap dash with everything. They got the cost wrong at the end and I had to explain to change it. The ointment I got given had incorrect dosage (I spoke to another eye clinic and they agreed). Do not bother, complete lack of care. I would give 0 if I could. Also to the clinic- do not even dare reply to this with any patronising explanation, you've already been rude enough over email!!

I was extremely nervous about having my cataracts removed but the calm, professional approach of all the staff ensured that the whole procedure was painless in all respects.
I can not recommend the clinic highly enough.

Had cataracts in both eyes removed and my eyesight corrected in August 2024. The surgeon Ms Odufuwa-Bolger and her team were very good and explained the whole process to me clearly. Ms Odufuwa-Bolger was very professional, it was over quickly and I did not suffer any pain. I am pleased with the result and am glad I had both eyes done at the same time. Would recommend.
