I ordered online 3/19/22 all items were correct except for the mower blades which were wrong I have been trying for weeks to get this corrected I called the phone number at the top of the website, and it responded busy call back after several attempts I sent an email to sales@ and got no response so I called one of the location numbers and a gut answered the phone and said the person that would handle that would be back in 20 minutes I asked if there was a way to do this by email and he said send to shipping@ which I have done twice with no response so this past Saturday and the guy said the person I need to talk to in not in and he transferred me to their extension and I left a message with my name and number as of today and no one has called so at this point I am done they can keep my $78.24 and know that this will be the last business I do with them they are quick to bill for the order but there communication process is horrible and customer service is no better.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed. Bought a new self-propelled Toro there about 3 summers ago and have had nothing but trouble. I fixed it 4 times and had it in the shop 5 times. The mower has a terrible design of a steel gear turning a plastic gear for the self-propel system. They would always fix it but charge me every time over $100. Finally took it in yesterday to trade and they would only give me $50 for the mower I bought for $350 and spent over $400 in repairs. I felt they had no loyalty to the customer and wouldn't stand behind a poor product.

Ordered an item online

Ordered an item online, waited over a week and checked back, the item has still not even shipped, They do not stock the items they sell. They get your order and then order it from their supplier. If you want it fast, DO NOT buy from this company.

Great Customer Service!

My experience with Mutton Power was great, almost as good as Amazon.  The JD accessory I ordered was missing parts and it was clearly a JD issue not MP.  I called and told them what I had received and they corrected the issue in a timely manner without me having to contact them again.  My experience with the JohnDeereStore.com was not nearly as helpful and I will not buy from them again.  Mutton will be one of the first places I look when I need parts or accessories for my tractor or UTV.

Mutton Covid-19 Practice

Mutton puts a Covid-19 warning on its web site. Yet, when I went there this morning to drop off my mower for service, I and another customer were the only ones wearing masks.

I wear a mask to protect others. When merchants don’t, it’s as if they were giving me the finger. Shows complete disrespect for their customers.

Don’t order out of state

I ordered in stock lawnmower on 5/27 and it’s now 6/13/20 and I haven’t received the product yet. I can’t fathom What could take more than two weeks to ship and receive. I wouldn’t suggest ordering Out of State with this company unless you have a backup lawnmower and a lot of patience

Last name of Mutton you can be as rude as you choose...

Wanted to talk to a salesperson that I previously has done business. That person has been let go from the business. That was disappointing. What really was frustrating was the arrogance of the person telling me that they were this person's replacement. This person has the last name Mutton. I mentioned I thought they were being significantly arrogant that they replaced the other person. The reply I received was "you asked, I told you!" Click. He hung up on me. I had considered doing a lot more business with them. Not too sure I want to do any business with them. Very disappointing. I guess I would have expected to hear, unfortunately he is no longer with us, how may I help you? I need to stop so my wife can go pick up the mowers we ordered from another business.

Don't Use Mutton Power Equipment. Horrible Service!!

I called to see how long it would take to repair a mower tire. They said it would take a day. I stopped at the Lima store and dropped off the tire. After four days of no updates I called and they said the new tire hadn't come in yet. I waited till the following Monday to call for an update. They said the new tire was at the Illinois Road store and they would have it done by Wednesday morning. I called Wednesday afternoon and they gave me the same story about the tire is at Illinois Road store. I told them that was the same thing they said Monday and said they would call me back with an update. 3 hours later they still didn't call back, so I called them asking for an update. They said the tire couldn't be inflated and they had to send back to the store at Illinois road and they would have it back at the end of the day. I never got a call at the end of the day. I called back the next morning and they said it was still down at the Illinois Road office and said I could pick it up there, otherwise it wouldn't be available till Friday. This place has absolute horrible service and do not recommend to anyone. I would understand if they mentioned they were busy or backed up or behind, but they didn't mentioned any of this. Instead they lied to me over the phone about the status of my tire on multiple accounts and not once called me back to give me an update.

Had riding mower sent in for a tune up…

Had riding mower sent in for a tune up and sharpen blades. When returned the mower would not start. Asked to fix this issue by someone with more knowledge. Was told original repair person had been fired. The mower was returned a second time and the latch holding down the hood was broken. When called Mutton, explained the problem and service agent on phone asked if "do you have anything else to complain about?". Agent said he would look into the complaint and call back. Still waiting.
Biggest issue: The owner is in her mid 70's, a widow and suffers from lymphoma.
