Ordered 26 November so waited 15 working days which I feel is too long & didn’t answer to my messages but when order came was happy with it great selection & great valu for money

Long wait but I finally got my order…

Long wait but I finally got my order and to be fair it’s a decent. 20 odd things all different. Just a shame I had to hound them for my order

DO NOT PURCHASE!!Poor customer service/order didn't arrive order number 53856

Emailed 5 times no answer from emails.
Very poor customer service.
Still awaiting package after 2 weeks.
Irish company want to support but no update on order no reply from emails.
Do not purchase from this company.
Awful customer service.
Will be looking for a refund probably with very little luck with the reviews on trust pilot.

Have sent SIX emails NO Reply!!!
Please AVOID COMPANY at all costs!!
No mystery box received!

Waiting over a month now for my order.
They sent one email after 6 emails saying it should be delivered on 27th or 28th December.
Still nothing avoid this company.
Terrible service.

I have put in a complaint to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) about this company.
They have my money I did not receive a service or a product from them so this is the next step.

Update 20/01/24
I finally got my mystery box after 7 weeks.
Box was grand but took the good out of it as it took so long.
I sent 11 email's in total till they sent it.

Legal action

Terrible company to deal with. Ordered in early November. I sent numerous emails and got no reply. I threatened legal action and eventually my order arrived yesterday but 2 of the 3 boxes I ordered were damaged and wet. When I emailed Mr Candy they said they would send me two flat pack boxes so now I’m waiting on them!! I have ordered from them before and had no issues but definitely I will not be ordering from them again. There’s no way of contacting them only through email.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

If I could give a zero star I would. One star is too much. Absolutely disgusting and appalling company. They literally are stealing people’s money. Please, please, please do not order from this company. They are fraudsters.
Ordered items in November. Missed the date of the event I needed them for. Have gotten no response regarding my order or refund. Several emails sent with no response. There’s no other way to contact them.
This is not a legit company.

**order was delivered after about 10 emails and Instagram messages a month too late. Have repeatedly said I didn’t want them as I ordered them for a birthday and it was now a month too late. No response whatsoever was give regarding my refund request. Also, the box items were absolutely NOT worth the cost.
I repeat again….do not buy from this company.

Would give less if I could

Would give less if I could , I wish I’d seen the reviews before ordering ,,, please in these hard times keep your money in your pocket , I bought on 25th of November and have allowed the 3-8 business days before I contacted this company , I’ve tried on all avenue to get in touch before getting a fb private message back with a pity full we will try get orders done this week , and no response since , they have literally no costumer service or way to request a refund , this company are literally holding customers money ransom , no goods have been received and no refund or information as to when or if products are being shipped , stay away

Mr candy customer service 👎

I have ordered plenty of times from mr candy and have never had a bad word to say. They had a Black Friday sale on so I ordered on the 23rd of November for one of their Christmas mystery box. I always get one for a family member for their birthday and Christmas. This order was my first issue with mr candy. The customer service is appalling no response through email or via socials regarding the whereabouts of my order. Very disappointing as I would always like to support local businesses in Ireland. There isn’t even a facility to claim a refund which is so unethical. Will never be purchasing again as I’ve received no feedback or help.

Like many before here I would review in the minus stars if allowed. I ordered back in July and still order has not arrived. Like many others here I’ve emailed probably about 50 times with responses Mayb 3 times with same answers as everyone else , delay in orders, offer of voucher, order is getting ready for shipment, then asking me to review. Nothing . No emails answered since . I’ve messaged on all social platforms, nothing. Total scam wish I had read these reviews before ordering . Stay away from this crowd. No number to call but apparently based in Carlow

Unresponsive and unreliable

I placed an order on the 15th of November 2023 and the cancelled it on the 24th. I repeatedly tried to contact the company and I have been totally ignored. This company is completely unreliable and untrustworthy.

AVOID!!!

Like most people are saying, if I could give this ZERO or negative stars I would!! I ordered from this company last year, everything arrived withing a few days. It went down a treat so I decided to order their mystery boxes for this year. I ordered and heard nothing for ages. Decided to email...heard nothing! Then, I saw these reviews, so I emailed again and surprise...I heard nothing. Checked their website, and they literally have nothing for sale under any of the tabs unless it's some of their mystery boxes or prime! They aren't answering anyones queries on their social media even. Avoid this company at all costs!!

Edit: emailed this company several more times over the last week, and got no response. Decided to go through my bank and got a refund. This company should not be sending special offers if they can't fufil the orders, especially at this time of year when people are buying a "christmas mystery box"..obviously it's wanted for christmas, but think you will be lucky to get it by summer 2024!

Terrible experience would not recommend!!!!!

I'm only giving one star as you have to but I'd give 0 if possible as it's what this company deserves!!!

This so called service is awful!!

I placed an order on the 10th of November for 2 mystery boxes and a few small items amounting to almost €60, I paid €5.40 for standard delivery which is stated on their website to be delivered within 2-8 days!
FALSE ADVERTISING AT ITS FINEST!!!!!!

I have tried to contact this business on several different platforms but to no avail!
I finally got a response to an email of complaint on the 22nd of November apologising for the inconvenience and stating that my order would be dispatched in the coming days and i would receive an email on dispatch!
To no surprise I have received neither an email or my package which i have paid for in full!!!

Absolutely scandalous this day in age, trying to support a local business!
I will be telling everybody on every platform I have available to me of this awful business who are clearly just greedy and grabbing innocent peoples hard earned money and not fulfilling orders!!! Shame on you!!!!!!!!
I will be taking this matter further!!!

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. I ordered 3 boxes on the 21st July and to date I have not received my order. Despite a number of promises initially and now radio silence. I have emailed them on a number of occasions to no avail. I am the guts of 70e down. I wish I had read the reviews before I name an order.

Absolutely disgraceful company

Absolutely disgraceful company, ordered in July, mystery box and prime for my sons birthday, chased them via email and on socials but they disable or delete any negative comments. Responded that they were having issues and delay with deliveries, gave the benefit of the doubt in error and in September advised they were catching up with orders and would send a voucher to customers who were inconvenienced! No voucher, no order, no refund, it’s now November. Everyone needs to report this company they are a disgrace and are currently advertising for Christmas, avoid at all costs and hopefully more people will hear if how bad they are, I wish I had checked, a pity because I prefer to support local businesses, but these guys giving small businesses a bad name 😡

Don't waste your time or money.

My first order came almost 2 months after my initial order with no updates via email and an email query asking about the order.
I enjoyed the contents of the order so I (mistakingly) made another order almost 2 weeks ago with only a confirmation email. I have contacted them again via email with no response or follow-up.
Could not recommend this company less, especially when there are so many that offer the same service at a much better standard.
With actual real deals every season for black Friday, Halloween, etc. and so much promotion on social media, you'd think they would be better than this.
I have requested a refund in the email and if I don't get a response I will get the garda involved as all of their information is available online, address, emails, phone numbers etc.
Don't waste your time with this process.

Avoid company

Ordered on the 15th of September it's now the 30th of November and no sign of the mystery box coming I've emailed and all they said was that they were experiencing delays and they'd send it put to me in the next day or 2, checked the website and my order still says unfulfilled, nothing but scammers don't order anything off them. Wish I had checked the reviews
