Established as a home-based business in 2017 when our border collie pup, Denver, joined the family. Since then our business has grown rapidly alongside this fluff ball who still acts as our ambassadog and chief tester of many products.
Today we have now served well over 150,000 customers and our business, whilst still small and family focused, occupies over 5000 square feet and is full of amazing dog products for the active and not so active pup alike.

Response to Mountain Dog. I appreciate your reply. It's time the UK comes to an better arrangement with the EU on trade that ensures small business have a level playing field with export to the EU.
Great product. Unfortunately you did not mention the extra charges that would be applied as it was been posted to Ireland. I had to pay an additional 21 pounds as VAT was applied again and a handling fee from the Irish post people.

We are so pleased you felt the product was a good one and I hope you can see we provided a good service around this. In respect to charges incurred I'm afraid these are your local charges enforced by the EU.
We clearly say 'Fully Tracked DDU - Delivery Duty Is NOT Paid - You are Responsible For Local Import Taxes & Fees' as you check out and this is further iterated in the shipping part of the website.
As a family business it galls us that such charges exist, this has hurt our business markedly, but it sadly it has been the fact for several years now and is out of our control.
We always love our Irish customers which is why we continue to send items to the territory and most understand that these governmental charges are not something we can influence.
Thank you for shopping with us, Im sorry you felt you couldn't reflect your experience of our small business in a more positive light.

k9 Dog backpack
Very quick service. The update emails were so friendly & made me smile. The backpack was brought for my puppy & could see when it arrived would be too small. Unfortunately next size sold out. The quality of backpack was excellent. I returned item & received refund no problems.
Will have no hesitation using mountain dog in the future.
