Great experience selling our sofas. Got a fair amount and quicker than doing it ourselves on marketplace. The communication was transparent and pick up was quick. The entire process from start to finish was smooth without any issues.

I had two sofas that needed recycling. I contacted Money for Furniture and with a very simple process was given a quote for them to purchase the sofas and collect them. The collection was organised at a time that suited me and all went off without incident. I would recommend Money for Furniture to anyone.

Absolute scammer! Sent across photo’s and he was offering £50 for items that cost £1,598 only last year and were in perfect condition. The below review says it all! Chancer trying to make crazy money out of people’s desperation. No address / business details feature anywhere on the website. DO NOT USE!

A conman is a man who cheats or tricks someone by gaining their trust and persuading them to believe something that is not true...

Purchased a pair of sofas from Jamie Whittle on facebook marketplace.

Advert 2 Sofas.."They have been wet vac’ed cleaned, all the covers can be removed for future cleaning. Really comfy. I can drop them off locally for free if needed"

No damage or any issues mentioned in the advertisement even when messaged personally to confirm condition however on delivery both sofas were significantly faulty ie rips in lining of fabric, small holes in velvet, leg missing, inferior quality and completely unusable but he refused to refund unless I paid £90 courier fee needless to say this offer was refused.

Due to his constant refusal to collect sofas without charge sought assistance from the small claims court, this person was obviously was aware of every trick of the trade to avoid all claims, so beware!

Sells on marketplace under the name of Jamie Whittle but later noted he has 4 registered companies on gov.uk (including this one 'Moneyforfurniture') strangely he did not mention this business when selling.

If you have any unfortunate dealings with this person be very careful, including when asking you to pay online via business bank transfer to Jamie Whittle as will not be eligible for chargeback claim. If you do need to go through small claims inform him you are aware of his multiple registered businesses which one should you use?

He also advertises on other sites eg marketplace, gumtree (using a name Izabela) also has social network platforms.

As I am part of a design team for refurbishing holiday accommodation, utilising mainly used quality furniture whenever possible is a strong ethos of the team to reduce waste and avoid landfill and giving items a new lease of life.

I can reassure others not to be put off there are still a wealth of fabulous local sellers, charity shops and reasonably priced businesses available to purchase from, most are honest, trusting and transparent when selling second-hand furnitue ....However in my experience with Moneyforfurniture/ Jamie Whittle etc is definitely not one of them!
