Incentivises GDPR Violations, Doesn't Stop Unwanted Mails
I never signed up for this service but they continue to pester me with emails. In these emails, they ask that I implement their library into my (GDPR-compliant) Android apps and have my users enable location services. Their library would then read this location data to "help telecom companies improve coverage and connectivity".
Further, they claim that they're "Fully GDPR / CCPA / Google Play compliant".
Just if anyone reading this has any doubt: Your app will be in absolute violation of GDPR if you collect and share location data with third-parties (such as Monedata) because there's no lawful basis to do so. If your app doesn't need location data, you're also going to be violating the "Data Minimization" directive.
This is going against everything that GDPR was designed to prevent and control. What a farce!
