Terrible

Terrible. Ordered a dress and was sent something completely different. Despite advertising as a UK site they are in China. Very slow responding to emails and refusing to refund the £135 the item cost me. It is of extremely poor quality and fit. Avoid this fradulent company.

I believe the retailer has breached the terms of the consumer contract and applicable consumer protection obligations in the following ways:

- The retailer presented itself as a UK-facing business (“Mondressy UK” using a “.co.uk” website), but only disclosed after purchase that returns must be sent to China at the buyer’s expense. I do not believe this important information was made sufficiently clear before purchase.

- The retailer’s return policy allows for significant deductions from refunds, including restocking fees of 20–50% and additional deductions for shipping, packaging and labour costs. I do not believe these charges were presented transparently or prominently prior to purchase.

- The item received was not of the quality reasonably expected based on the website presentation and price paid, and differed materially from the impression created by the product listing and photographs.

- The return arrangements are disproportionate and place an unreasonable financial burden on the consumer through expensive international return shipping and substantial refund deductions.

For these reasons, I believe the goods and sales process were not as described and did not meet reasonable consumer expectations under UK consumer protection standards.

Was hesitant at first when
I ordered this dress as there were some mixed reviews but when it arrived I was so shocked the attention to detail was amazing and the silk was heavy and thick it is truly a beautiful dress and the attention to detail even
On the packaging layers of tissue to protect it could nt fault it mondressy you hit the jackpot with this gown would have no hesitation
In ordering again

Would not recommend!!!

As not used this company before I checked the returns policy and as a uk site was assured and ordered a dress. On arrival I was not happy with the quality and wanted to return. The company tried to stop me returning due to ‘the complicated’ return process, offering me discounts etc on future orders, but also suggested I took it to a dressmaker to fix what I wasn’t happy with!! I proceeded with the return and that’s when I got the address and they were based in china not the uk. I was told they would remove a restocking fee of approx 30% of the cost but I still went ahead. I sent it tracked via Royal Mail, took evidence of the address on the package label and guess what! Address not found so the dress returned back to me. The address appeared in google maps but I suspect the company are not based there….They blamed the deliverer for not finding them. I had to raise a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. It was a long protracted experience with many AI generated emails. I would not recommend and will always use companies I trust to buy online goods who don’t scam you and accept returns on a no buy no fee basis.

Very disappointed ☹️

Very disappointed ☹️. I ordered a women’s trouser suit for an upcoming wedding thinking this is a uk based company which is not true.
Order placed 5th March, arrived April 1st. (After a number of email enquiries). It is not true to size and the pants are badly made with the side zip too far back and the front seam is off centre, making them unwearable.
Sadly, I have read the very negative reviews on returns too late.
I am hoping that my review will prevent others making the same mistake.
Although the quality of the product is good it is irrelevant as the item cannot be worn.
I would not recommend ordering for a special occasion from this site.

BEWARE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Order trousers suit. Quality very poor. Wrong size.Costs £137.39 wanted to send it back. Offered some money to keep it just 30% not total amount minus postage. However, after quite a few emails, which I can say they answered promptly, tried to get me to keep order and offered another sum. I did not want to keep this and asked to send it back, Guess what -HONG KONG at a cost of £32.95.Yes. However, it was refused acceptance and sent back to me.What a joke. Now cost item and postage. Then given part payment £73 which after postage is only £40. Absolute BEWARE CUSTOMERS DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I wanted to send back and get a proper refund. No chance. Note Company name on order was Mondressy.co.uk refund from Mondressy London.
