Great product, quick delivery and beautiful lights

Fast, efficient delivery. Lovely 5ft slimline snow covered tree - looks great in my hallway and had lots of compliments about it. Would definitely recommend.

I bought The Winter Workshop - Acrylic Starburst Christmas Star - 80cm - Multi Coloured. Looked for this for weeks before Christmas & Modern Rattan had the best deal. Excellent service delivery & the star is beautiful. Sturdy enough for outside even in Scotland. Just what I was looking for.

Not had a great experience with the customer service.

We purchased a garden dining set from these guys which was relatively cheap, unfortunately the item was damaged when it arrived.

I emailed the email address that I had already spoken to a sale rep on, no reply. I chased time and time again, no response. I called the phone a few times, no reply.

I figured the company had gone bust and contacted my bank to start a section 75 claim against them. I am protected by consumer law and these guys had broken the contract between them and I.

Either they had gone busy, or they were ignoring me.

The bank finally get in touch with this company, who’s excuse was that my emails had all gone into spam. (Lame excuse)

They eventually agreed to replace the table which was damaged. The director emailed to confirm Monday afternoon they will replace and take existing away.

On Monday, I had 3 missed calls between 11am-12pm. I didn’t recognise the number but I was driving back from wales where I had been working away.

6.30pm that evening, the guy rocks up at my front door with no replacement table and tells me that he needs to take the take away
With him!

Just avoid these guys because they’re a shambles. They say one thing, and either ignore you or do something else entirely different.

I feel 2 star is an appropriate review as the furniture seems decent. It’s just damaged. It’s all the customer service and support which lets this company down

Received my delivery of furniture by two very helpful men. On opening all the pieces of furniture saw they were packed carefully and in immaculate condition and the quality is superb. I cannot wait to use them this weekend. The set is everything I had hoped for and they did not disappoint. I would highly recommend them. Thank you.

I ordered some garden furniture(Texas dining set) on 3rd of March it said 4 to 12 weeks.. after 12 weeks I contacted them. They said due to shipping delays it would now be July.. after a few emails and £50 off as a good will gesture I continued with my order. Then in July nothing again and didn't respond to my emails until I contacted the main office. And they changed my date to August. I couldn't believe it so I got a full refund. So I went to Leigh garden centre and got some furniture. And was eating on it 2 days later. Will never use modern rattan again.. they just blame maze. 6 months to build and deliver a dining set is ridiculous. And I went online to look at Texas dining sets again and it still said 4 to 12 weeks which I pointed out to the manager who sorted my refund.

Nice garden furniture. Very pleased as we only had the picture to go by. Cushions are very thick making it very comfortable to sit on. The only issue is the clips which joins the 2 parts of the sofa together keep falling off and so the sofa separates but we can sort this problem. Delivery was within the time scale quoted and took about an hour to fit together as it comes flat packed. Overall a good quality nice piece of garden furniture.

What a pleasure speaking to the lovely lady on the phone, very helpful on advising options for our particular area that we were looking to dress with furniture. Advised of potential delays on delivery however the goods were received only a few days after anticipated. Very pleased with the quality and service.

No delivery timescales on order confirmation. Three weeks, 2 emails and a phone call later and I’m no further forward. I was promised a call back 3-4 days ago and nothing. This was just for a furniture cover that was allegedly in stock.

I ordered a dining table and chairs at a fantastic price in the sale. A couple of hours later I received a text message as follows "Your order from Modern Rattan has been canceled and you've been refunded £399.99."
No explanation as to why order was cancelled and no response to my text asking why. On the plus side the money was immediately refunded but nevertheless I am very disappointed.

In response to the reply below, unfortunately I didn't receive any missed calls or email to explain reason for order being cancelled.

Thought this was going to be really high quality but I have seen better for the same price.

Fabulous amazing service, speedy delivery. And all aspects of the product and delivery was explained. High quality, and super comfy. Would highly recommend 100%

Delivered when promised.

Really poor communication and customer service. Ordered a furniture set that said in stock on their website. Didn't hear anything from them so a week later I emailed them and got no response. I then went on their website and used their live chat feature but got no response. So I then went to their Facebook page and used Facebook messenger when thankfully I actually got a response. But that response was to say that the item had never been in stock and they didn't know when it would be in stock. Save your time and avoid.
