They aren’t just bad, they’re scammers and we have evidence. We ordered a wardrobe and it wasn’t what we expected so we asked for a return and that’s when the games began.

Eventually, they agreed to a refund apart from £80 to return it - and £20 for damaging the boxes we opened. After weeks of chasing, they finally arranged to collect, but simply gave us a day - between 10am and 10pm. And we stayed in all day waiting for them. They never came and when we called them the next day, they said, to our face, that they came and we refused collection. Bizarre. That was when I got Amazon involved and they arranged for another collection on Saturday with a courier called OnTime. We read the Trust Pilot reviews for the courier (see for yourself) and we knew it wouldn’t be good, which is why we documented everything. The courier came and we videoed everything, the loading, the conversation, the collection note etc. and off they went.

Anyway, on the Monday, MN Furniture said they hadn’t got it. And the courier had updated the tracking saying we had refused collection again and that it had failed. However, we had evidence that this wasn’t the case, which we sent to Amazon for our claim. MN Furniture called us several times and messaged us to say they’d give us a refund if we removed our negative review of them. Ontime Couriers even admitted via text that they had it in their warehouse and it needed to be checked, but they could only correct the tracking information if we withdrew our claim from Amazon. Even when given the evidence of collection, their reply was ‘you can’t prove that’s OnTime’ even though we had a text from them confirming it was OnTime and confirming they had it, asking us to withdraw the claim.

We did get our refund… through Amazon, not the comp itself and now they are backtracking saying sorry, it was all a big mistake on their end, even though the truth is much more sinister.

If you do ever go through the process with them, document everything…. Messages, videos, everything. They’ve been taken to court before because of this and it will probably happen again. The only reason they’re avoiding it this time is because Amazon stepped in to give us our refund.

Please stay well clear of this company - they are nothing more than thieves, cheats and scammers. The products are of low quality and as soon as you request a return or refund, the problems begin. They use all sorts of tactics to complicate and delay the process, even going so far as to claim they never received the item you sent back. If you do decide to purchase from them then please make sure you document everything. The courier they use "On-time Couriers.co.uk are also a part of the group and are in on the scam. They also operate on Amazon and under different names such as The Modern Furniture, MN Furniture, Sliding Doors etc. We have started the process of reporting them to the police and will be taking them through the legal system.

Terrible. I cancelled my order within 12 hours of placing it. I've been chasing every day for a refund. It's been over 2 weeks. It's actually making me ill now as it was a lot of money.

Worst company ive come across sent me a wardrope drawer sides missing and most of the screws and fitting
Said they would replace but only sent some screws through the post

I was a bit nervous about buying after reading reviews here, so here’s my experience . The large wardrobe unit arrived , and after carrying each box upstairs we started to build the unit , it was quite difficult , needing 2 strong people with 2 ladders as the top of the unit is what secures the sides and base together , my husband and I are in our mid 60s and WE did it . When it came to the doors one had a smashed glass so I immediately notified MN furniture via email and and also text . I was told a new door would be ordered and would take 2 weeks to arrive , it did , so I felt customer service was very good . For the price the quality is good , customer service was very good , they did what they said they would do .
Tip for building unit , once it’s built you can’t move it at all its big and heavy so get it in the right place before fixing shelves etc

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

This company’s furniture may look nice and appealing but the quality is absolutely awful. There were 4 boxes that were labelled from 1-4 so we obviously were unpacking these boxes in order (keep in mind these boxes are extremely heavy) we unpacked three and we realised there were still no small parts or any instructions until the fourth box, which is quite weird because you’d expect for their to be all the parts, screws and instructions in the first one. So the two boxes that had the mirrors in were unpacked which was so inefficient as you don’t need the mirrors until the last step of building the wardrobe.

After that, took us about 2 hours no kidding to actually figure out what piece goes in what order because they weren’t even labelled!! I paid £410 for the 180cm wardrobe and never again! Would expect better quality and for the boxes and pieces to be actually numbered.

We were then putting them together and we realised how the bottom pieces are so stupid to put together, has the worst structure for the heaviest and tallest wardrobe. Even after building it I feel like the wardrobe may break because the bottom is not sturdy. At the end, it was so hard to put the side panels on, you basically put this wood inside of this panel and there is a slit down the wardrobe side to put it in so that the front looks nice, most weirdest thing ever! Doesn’t even keep on. Don’t get me started on the led lights too. Paid £10 to not even use them because the quality is terrible. It didn’t have a description of what they looked like. It’s built like one of those lights you see in council estate corridors. And the quality of the wood is so bad, don’t get me wrong the appearance is great but when putting the small wood inside of the holes and get it connected to the bottom of the wardrobe. It was extremely hard. The side of the wardrobe would not go in no matter how hard we tried. Then we eventually got it in just by pushing it in (what you’re supposed to do) the the wooden thing went completely through the side and on the other side there is a hole. So im really not happy with it. Went to go on the live chat support, and they are absolutely USELESS!!! Waited about 20 minutes for them to reply but they didn’t. Then I decided to call the number of the company and some random Indian guy picked up and asked me for my order number and said that they’d call me back tomorrow about a replacement that I have to PAY for!! When the damage was not my fault it’s the quality that is absolutely rubbish. They ended up on contacting me again when they said they would.

Overall, please just save your money and avoid the company. The furniture may look nice but the customer service and quality is TERRIBLE! NOT WORTH IT!

Sent crap damaged wardrobes i brought from amazon. This scam of a company arranged collection. I have photos to prove they collected it. Then told amazon its not been collected. I mn furniture told them i need a refund as my 9 year old needs wardrobes. Was told to f## off and was called a English white bast##d.then said said he was going to rape her. Police investigation ongoing. If any one would like hes address its listed on companys house

Update to my June 2023 post. Today I went to court for my refund of faulty wardrobe (203 Burg sliding door). This company lied to the courts, made me out to be a liar and were proved wrong! the outcome was they were ordered to pay me not only for the wardrobe but also fees! Don’t ever use them! If you do be sure to document everything!
Awful cheap built wardrobes, disgusting service & was harassed to the point of being intimidated on WhatsApp by their staff. Bought 2 wardrobes Jan 2023, complained within days of warped/bowed door & just got my refund after court claim Feb 2024.

I bought 2 wardrobe 2weeks ago, on one of the wardrobe LED lights keep flickering. I have tried to contact them by phone several times, no answer, send an email no reply...
Also products are very cheap quality

cheaters and thieves! They took the money and did not send the goods. I have been waiting for almost a month to get my money back. My calls are no longer being answered and they are not responding to emails!!!

Ordered an item and the wrong one turned up and the item even had missing items. Contact through onbuy was like talking to a brick wall and when we managed to talk to someone they just shouted and hanged up! They want us to pay £100 to have the item returned even tho it was them that sent the wrong item ABSOLUTELY AVOID THIS COMPANY ON ONBUY OR ANY OTHER SITES

Absolutely DISGUSTING customer service. the worst i have ever experienced in my life. i really dont understand how they are still selling. they need to be reported. Once they get the money, you will not hear from them. i ordered a dining table, they delivered the wrong one, tried ringing them like a million times, but nothing. i got through them once but the lady on the phone was like we will ring u back but nothing. its been well over a month. i am APPALLED people like this exist in this world. if anyone knows where they are based, i would love to know, pay them a visit.

I placed an order for apple sofa bed and got a delivery of Malta sofa bed, all effort to find out when they will pick the wrong item and supply the correct one provided abortive for about 2 months now.

Becareful when you buy ftom this company. I bought via Facebook and was assured that the wardrobes would be assembled on delivery ...That didn't happen as the fitter was in London not in Norfolk..delivery people dumped packages in hallway..asking for more payment to take it upstairs. After care service is non existing..they got the money now they don't care.. no instructions in packages either what a terrible experience..

Scam of a company. The supply broken and bad products. I ordered a wardrobe from them and it arrived with the mirrors broken. They assured me that they will replace the broken mirrors.

I had already paid for the item. But when their delivery driver came to deliver, they made me pay again claiming that they will refund me the first payment.

After that i started calling them to chase it up, and they kept lying that they have refunded me. and when i asked them to send me proof of refund they stopped picking my calls and even blocked me on whatsapp

Stay away from this company as they supply very low quality and broken furniture from China

The quality of the parts of this wardrobe just break in the hands. 4. the mirror is very crooked (it's good that it's not broken) 5. there is no purchase receipt (they just threw a box at you, and you gave them money) it's bad. after assembly, you can not move the cabinet, otherwise it will break. 6. after the sale, the agent who assured that there is a return within 30 days stopped responding to my messages. 7.It takes 4 people and tools to assemble this cabinet.
