I attended the Haverhill store to collect a new stop tap. I do not know who I spoke to regarding installing the new valve but got great support on what I would need regarding pipe reducing components. Really great advice and very impressed with the friendliness and support with the staff at Haverhill. Thank you!

Just dealt with the Retford branch and I have to say it was a genuine pleasure from start to finish to speak with a great salesperson and a superb delivery guy (sorry I didn't get your name) - 5* and PERSONAL service too. Being called by your name doesn't sound like a big thing, but with the internet being so impersonal, when it happens it feels like a big deal. Would I buy again...in a heartbeat. Their prices are good too and a free delivery for a single bag of top soil?! Hard to find anyone as reliable (delivered the day they said) and gone within 5 minutes. It was even a pleasure to watch the expert delivery guy at work. He went above and beyond to make sure it was positioned exactly where I wanted.

Went into branch to order some blocks, explained delivery would need to be next to a banking over a hedge ,I said can u use your biggest vehicle with arm. He replied we only have one size vehicle it will easily do the job. Following week delivery arrived, driver then informed me the arm won't reach, you should have asked for the bigger truck he said. Obviously annoyed i was informed that they couldn't rearrange there an then an just wait for a phone call. 30 mins later while out i get a text saying my delivery on the way, rush home no delivery so I ring only to be told by the worst customer service lady ever, we didn't send u a text. Lol. And also told me how are we supposed to know what size truck to send! Bottom line. There delivery set up is a joke. They don't listen to customers. They don't care one bit if something goes wrong. Still no apology. Still waiting for my blocks.and now they've cancelled delivery after waiting in all day they ring me at 345pm to say we're sorry we can't come today. Wait to see if it comes tomorrow .Absolute joke of a company.

I was thoroughly impressed with the Service. Claire was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She made everything so easy and nothing was too much bother for her. She made MKM a real pleasure to deal with.
All the items that we ordered arrived as expected and fitted perfectly, which made the installation smooth and stress free. It's clear that attention to detail and customer satisfaction are business priorities.
I'd definitely recommend MKM and Claire particularly to anyone planning a kitchen redesign.

I’m right on the edge of my local MKM’s delivery area. Unfortunately whilst where I live is well covered by several ‘big’ merchants no one seems interested in smaller orders.
I’m only going 4 star due to communication and lead time of the order - but I feel that calling my local branch would have been significantly better than online.
I ordered online and had the standard ‘thanks for your order we’ve taken your money and your local branch will contact you’ reply which is fine, but I ordered on Monday (10am) and hadn’t heard anything so called them on Friday.
Quick and pleasant call and was told I was penciled in for Tuesday. Confirmed that was fine as I’d ordered a fortnight ahead.
Still no contact and online account showing “in progress”
Tuesday arrived and no change in order status, goods did arrive so I can’t complain but no email or call to confirm.
So essentially if you’re ok with an 8 day delivery and a hope and a prayer that it’ll arrive on time then all is good 👌🏼😂

The wrong item was ordered. The driver offered to take it away and replace with the correct product. Customer service was excellent throughout.

Real good people to deal with .Ellis Jones the lad I dealt with couldn’t do enough to accommodate my delivery slot. The driver was very good negotiating the rear lane which can be difficult. Defiantly recommend MKM above any other builders merchants

Absolutely rubbish I ordered stuff last week 15th May it never arrived rang up they say my goods are not on the system which is a dam right lie the £168 has come out of my bank but they refuse the refund so now going through my bank to get it back apparently they have done this to a lot of people.

I ordered a bathroom from MKM Newcastle last year and Jade and Ross were extremely helpful from the moment I was in contact with them. With a great eye to detail. I had a moodboard of everything I needed and nothing was too much trouble to turn my vision into reality. Quick and easy delivery. We will absolutely be back for future projects!

Ordered 1 limestone - received dove grey stones - kept these - wanted one more of the same stone then received limestone not dove grey- again I kept these! ordered 1 dove grey and 2 limestone - had delivery today and it was 3 dove grey! It’s costing me a fortune I even went and bought more from a different store - not sure why every delivery I have is wrong - went to store to to show them the stones - will never order again - now got to wait till someone picks up these and delivery the correct ones! These are the bulk bags not just small bags - this is Sheffield branch

Let down by product quality and delivery delays. For the price paid I wouldn't have expected to be waiting 6 weeks for a replacement parts. The staff were lovely, designs were good, but ultimately the length of the fitting process has been dragged, could have been finished in 3 weeks but instead took 9; replacement parts sent were the wrong ones which extended the wait. I went for MKM over howdens, but in future I might do otherwise to get projects finished within set timelines.

A very helpful local company who arranged the quickest and free delivery at competitive prices.

I needed to replace a shower at my tenants flat. MKM provided my plumber fantastic prices and they acted very promptly on this matter.

I personally very impressed about this high quality service Ed from the sales team and my plumber Jack provided me.

I will highly recommend to use MKM Lincoln services!

Just had a new bathroom designed and fitted, Designer Sarah Mckane,
And fitted by RJM plumbing, gas and bathroom. ( Rich and Tom) Can't speak highly enough of the workmanship the products and also Sarah's knowledge the finished result is fantastic. Would definitely recomend they are faultless and lovely people.

3 bulk limestone chippings and
1 bulk sharp sand. Driver placed
bags with crane truck into back garden where I wanted them.
The price was a bit lower than competitors and also free delivery. Limestone was in good condition and bulk bags were full. Very happy and will use again.

MKM NORWICH - faultless customer service from purchase to delivery. Kevin was very friendly and helpful, excellent when we had to postpone our delivery due to our dates being changed for the work to start. Laura was an absolute star when we rang to confirm the delivery the day before as it was a different time to what we had arranged and we were not expecting them to be able to change anything at that late stage although we had made other arrangements throughout the day, but again absolutely faultless and she got everything sorted for us which we weren’t expecting. We live on a steep hill round the corner on a cul-de-sac and have been here for decades so we know the problems that we get with any deliveries. However, Ivan was absolutely faultless. He was the equivalent of an Olympic gold star as well. I cannot fault MKM Norwich excellent customer care excellent service good prices on products-a rare thing to find in this day and age. My husband was in the building trade for over 30 years locally and even he was impressed. What a team congratulations.

Do not buy decking boards from MKM, the quality is total junk.
3 attempts at delivery and I still cant use all the boards and I am sure they have sent back boards that I have rejected in the past. If the boards aren't like a banana, snap when you pick them up from the delivery pile or they splinter and shatter once they have dried out.
Only good use is for fire wood.

One month of waiting. One order. Plenty of conclusions.

In early March, I placed an order for doors through the official MKM Oban website — Order No. 176772. Everything seemed standard: an online form, confirmation, and then waiting. A few days later, I stopped by the branch to check on delivery times. The answer: “Expected tomorrow, or the day after at the latest.”

From that moment on, it turned into a game. Every 2–3 days I visited the branch. Every time, the same story: “The doors will arrive any day now.” This went on for over a month. Only after I insisted they call the supplier did the truth come out — the doors hadn’t even been produced yet.

And here’s the part that really stood out: one of the staff calmly told me “you probably shouldn’t use the website — no one really deals with online orders.”
So the website exists. It takes your money. But what happens next? Completely unreliable.

I’m a joiner. I work with clients, deadlines, and schedules. This kind of “service” caused major disruption, missed timelines, and direct financial loss. A full month wasted. Time and fuel burned. Nothing received.

I won’t draw conclusions for anyone. Just sharing my experience. Maybe it’ll be useful to someone.

Search online found this company order some gravel online the price was so much cheaper than other company I looked at and free delivery made it with in my budget I had a call which I missed to arrange delivery next day I had a text to say was out for delivery and was delivered exactly as I asked really pleased with the service will use again

In total £3500 of goods. First delivery was 24 hours late second was on time third and last delivery I booked a week in advance for a morning drop. I phoned at 11 because it hadn’t arrived. They said it would be afternoon. Drop then phoned an hour later to say the stuff was not in stock.
