I am really enjoying and benefiting from MK9 Plus training so far. I am working my way through the many clear, simple and encouraging videos and Max’s philosophy really makes sense to me. My 18 month old lab has various challenges but we are getting there. Looking forward to learning more. Lou

MK9+ has completely changed our understanding of how to truly fulfil the needs of our rescue Kelpie x Staffy, Waia. When Waia first arrived from the pound, she was anxious, barely slept, and was chronically stressed - barking at the smallest sound, pacing and following us around the house, and occasionally nipping at strangers.

Before MK9+, we worked with a “balanced” trainer who relied on dominance techniques and force-driven corrections. This didn’t solve any of our issues and, in hindsight, it damaged our relationship with Waia. Thankfully, we ditched that approach pretty quickly. We then leaned heavily on free content from social media, which was often overwhelming, contradictory, and honestly quite misleading.

Alas! We found Max, and immediately began deep-diving into his content. It was soooooo refreshing to find a trainer with such an up-to-date approach, genuinely backed by science and evidence. We’re so happy to have ditched the slip leashes, martingale collar, and alpha approach (which was never really us anyway).

After rinsing Max’s videos, our girl is now sleeping all day, her arousal levels are far lower, and we’ve introduced herding-style enrichment, flirt pole games, tug and all that good good stuff. As I type this, Waia is passed out like a little shrimp on the couch - builders next door, no barking at all. It's clear she feels she can finally relax. Friends can finally now come over and enjoy her sweet company without fear of her little puppy teeth on their skin.

She’s a happier, more fulfilled dog, and she loves being close to us because we treat her with respect, love, compassion, and positivity (and treats). Her recall is improving thanks to Max’s 2+ hour webinar, which my partner and I listened to on the drive to our "wild enrichment" spot in Melbourne. If you're a doggo lover or need help understanding your rescue pup, this is absolutely the best $ you'll spend. Thanks Max, keep up the amazing work! Inspiring stuff. :)

Absolutely amazing and worth every bit of money spent. I have learned so much, Max is an amazing teacher at breaking down things in bite size and easy ways. Can start to see some small improvements already after a month or so, which is very pleasing and excited to keep learning to continue improving for my dog. Thanks Max you’ve changed my outlook on owning and caring for a dog!!

I have a dog who has been in a shelter for 5 years and I know him and I would have a lot of learning together. I have always had border collies and he is a pittie mix. I felt lost and like I was failing him. But then Max came into my Instagram feed and I thought here is a guy who can actually help us. I am so not though all the video but Lonzo is now sleeping regularly and takes rest days and we will be able to work on his reactive slowly. Also we are signed up for a nose class and I no longer feel like I am failing him.

Just the best. I can’t recommend highly enough. Accurate information paired with a down to earth and caring approach without any ego. Doing the course and being able to talk things through has given me so much confidence in a really confusing world of dog training. So grateful for the support and just wish we had found Max sooner.

I've received helpful insights and 6 weeks in I already understand my dog better. And the approaching dogs, too. We've learned new things to do together and my dog sleeps more.

If I reserve one star for growth, it is for audio regulation and balance, when I listen to it in my car, I need to turn on the volume soo high, and then I get startled by waze or other app notifications or when switching to radio.

Massively helpful re mental stimulation for puppies

I love Max’s approach to dog “training”. It makes so much sense and is a real step forward in compassionate pet ownership. The website is fantastic with videos on every aspect of caring for your dog and resolving unwanted behaviours. It made a massive difference in the relationship I have with my dogs.

Great videos, great trainer and everything is well explained.

App contains all the videos you could wish for, clearly structured. Content is extremely relevant. No big sells or future hidden payments… just honest, incredibly helpful information to help you understand how to have a happier, better behaved dog. I’ve mentioned this app/product to a few other dog owners and their feedback to me has been very positive.

We fostered an older Jack Russel, so had little knowledge about him. I learnt so much through MK9Plus and Max’s delivery and vast choice of informative videos helped me to hone in on what was best to help work with Raffie. We were able to settle him in and work with his needs in a stress free way and I doubt we could have got as far as we did without all the applied information. I think it is essential for everyone that works with or has a dog!

Max is so knowledgeable & passionate about dogs & this comes across in all his online content.
The videos are just about the right length to engage the listener & I'm learning so much about being a modern day dog parent.

Honestly MK9 Plus has helped massively! I am a dog walker and have done various little courses but to have it all together in one place is so helpful and all makes sense now. It is my go to if i experience an issue. It's helped with my rescue Bertie whippet, cocker x the little changes have made a huge difference. He was a very insecure adolenscent who was obsessed with other dogs on the lead, we still have some improvements to make but in the space of a couple of months he has changed dramatically, and more chilled out. So very happy here - thank you Max!
