Excellent service
Louise Daly was really helpful and supportive. She was a brilliant liaison between both sets of conveyancers and kept the process moving.
If it wasn’t for Louise I’m sure the sale would have fallen through and her patience and persistence to chase both conveyancers on behalf of me and the buyer was instrumental in this completion. She was very professional at all times and always positive, polite and helpful.

I dealt with Miles & Barr Margate as a buyer. Agents were attentive and friendly in booking and carrying out viewings which lead to a flat purchase. My sales progression was handled by Louise who I felt went above and beyond. She emailed/called with updates, and chased the necessary persons before I had a chance to ask. Any time I did have a query she always answered the phone, dealt with it swiftly and always followed up. A stressful buying process (through external factors) made easier by a fantastic employee.

This was the first time I've had a dedicated sales progressor, and I was genuinely impressed by the difference it made. Emily kept in regular contact, chased both solicitors, provided weekly updates and always let me know exactly where the transaction stood.

Having someone proactively managing the communication took a huge amount of stress away and made the whole transaction feel much smoother.

I'd highly recommend Emily to anyone buying or selling a property. She provided an excellent service from start to finish.

Raised the issue of getting a new EPC done with the property manager, setting out our rationale and asking for her thoughts on the matter. She replied promptly and gave her recommendation in clear terms.
She offered to get an EPC assessor lined up if we didn't have anyone we wished to approach ourselves to do the necessary. We happily accepted her offer.

The customer service I received from Miles and Barr, Folkestone, has been flawless.

Debbie has been constantly in contact throughout the purchase of my first property, has chased things up on my behalf and has always been quick to reply to messages/questions that I've sent her.

We interviewed several local estate agents before deciding who to work with, and Judith Simpson from Miles & Barr stood out as by far the most approachable and professional. From our first meeting, we felt confident that we were in good hands.

James Perks did an excellent job negotiating the sale price, while Becky White was our main point of contact throughout the process. Becky always kept us up to date, was incredibly efficient and on the ball, and made sure we knew exactly where things stood. Alice was also extremely helpful, as was Giuseppe. In fact, every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with.

As anyone who has bought or sold a property knows, the conveyancing process can be stressful at times, but throughout it all we felt reassured by the team's experience and capable hands.

We won't be moving again for a very long time, but we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Miles & Barr to our friends and family. Thank you to everyone involved for helping us through the process.

After a turbulent time with personal issues I can say that Charlotte Thomas at the ramsgate branch has been impeccable with her service and kindness towards me. I couldn’t recommend her as an agent more.

Miles and Barr were helpful all the way from the initial viewing to eventually selling the property later on.

In the sales side thanks to both Lukes, Aimee, and Steve for all their help, and in after sales Jade was really helpful, patient and knowledgable when it came to coming to a deal with the new buyer.

Me and my partner dealt with Abigail Burch, she gave us excellent communication and helped us through needing maintenance and moving out of our flat! The process went nice and smooth and couldnt be more grateful for the help !!🥳

The sale of my property came with a few stepbacks that couldn't have been helped.
Louise Daly made the whole process a lot less stressful and was the glue for the sale not falling apart.

From the very first meeting with Sam, I knew that I had made the right choice in estate agent. Viewings on day one before the house had even been put online.
I would have given 5 stars if there was room for negotiation on the fees but I was told no. I know other estate agents are happy to negotiate fees.
It wasn’t long at all before an offer was made and Emily guided me through the whole process. Emily kept me informed throughout and made check ins to ensure everything was going smoothly on my end and the buyers end. Emily went above and beyond with any requests I made such as getting the front photo shot of the house changed.

Our initial viewing of the property by the Sales Advisor who conducted our initial viewing of the property, was unprepared & ill advised before showing us around. However this was compensated by the professionalism of Denise Lumpkin, Sales Progressor, who couldn't have been more helpful.

Well, we had a long old journey to get to where we are now - moving this Mon 3rd August - and Emily Stickler has been with us all of the way for working through all the small steps needed, and keeping us informed of what's going on. Any question and request was no bother for her. She's a star!
In fact all of the people in the Folkestone have been so nice and a pleasure to get to know. They are all a great asset to the company. Thank you all for what you've done for us.

My Excellent Maintenance Manager.
Its been great having Madison Rowe as my Maintenance Manager over the last 3 years. She has been very business like and efficient, and quick to reply to any problems l have. She has a cheerful, friendly manner and its been a pleasure having her as my Maintenance Manager. She is definatly the best one l have had after a long association with Miles and Barr.

Michelle (Ramsgate Office) has been my Property Manager for several years now. She has always dealt quickly with any late payments from tenants & any of my other enquiries efficiently & is also very knowledgeable about all of the recent legislation changes. I have needed a variety of works undertaken on my properties over the years & she always quickly arranges quotes for me. Sarah

First of all I would like to say that during the period from when I started looking for a house I found Miles and Barr to be very helpful and easy to deal with when viewing a rather large amount of houses on a regular basis. But most of all I'd like to mention that since starting the purchase process I had the privilege of being assisted throughout by Emily at the Folkestone Branch. Emily kept in contact with me on a regular basis, assisting me with my queries and needs to get the deal done. She was very friendly and and easy to talk to.
