We ordered a 6m x 3m Nova Pergola with 4 shades and led lights, including installation in early July, and were advised that it would be delivered and installed quickly.
The Pergola was delivered (10 large boxes) and sat on our patio for a week with me having to chase Midland Garden Furniture (MGF) for an installation date, which was finally set for 30 July.
The installer (Sam) came and completed the installation (paid separately) but he discovered that one of the shades was damaged with screws marks and the led lights hadn’t been delivered.
I spoke to MGF and was told they’d order the lights and get in touch with the manufacturer about the shade.
I chased multiple times and was asked if we’d accept a £200 refund for the shade (as although it was marked, it still worked). We declined the offer as we had bought a brand new pergola and didn’t want any visible damage.
I chased again regarding the led lights and was told that they were on order with the manufacturer, expected in early September.
I chased in early September and was told the led lights were expected on 17 September and we should get the replacement shade and led lights installed w/c 21 September.
I chased again and was told that the earliest date to get it all finished was 4 October.
Finally, we have a complete Pergola including shades, led lights and heater.
We are really pleased with the quality of the Pergola and Sam the installer was great.
The reason I’ve given 3 stars is due to the lack of communication and organisation from MGF, if I hadn’t chased and chased numerous times, over 3+ months who knows when it would have been finished.

I contacted MGF several times enquiring about the different types of Pergola/Carports.
Each enquiry was handled professionally. Helen answered my questions and concerns, what she was unsure, she found out and came back to me.
My order was placed in Summer 2026, fulfilled and fitted a few weeks later however the LED lights were out of stock till September 2026.
In the meantime the Hanover pergola was fitted professionally to our satisfaction it functions like it should, strong, solid and bolted to ground in anthracite, it provides needed shade to our south facing garden. It has been a few months since fitted and there have been no problems, it comes with a 15 year guarantee for added peace of mind.
In mid September I followed up regarding the LEDs and they were promptly sent by registered post. We fitted the LEDs this weekend ourselves and it took a lot longer than the 20mins although we were taking our time and overall it is a very straightforward install (sync the app to LEDs prior to installing). The app is shared amongst the family and each person can use the LED lights for their colour preference. The LEDs has added a new level of perfection to the 4x3 Hanover Pergola, my daughter uses the app to sync her music to the changing lights, she loves it. If your still thinking about a Pergola/Carport, I strongly recommend MGF as your first and only point of call. Thank you again MGF.

Midland Garden Furniture were brilliant from start to finish, and Helen was particularly helpful throughout. We looked at several pergolas before choosing the Nova Titan, which was perfect for our needs. Although there was a slight delay with installation, the quality is outstanding and the installer was polite, friendly and did an excellent job. We’re very pleased with the end result and the pergola looks fantastic.

I purchased a pergola and paid for it to be assembled.
The price was very reasonable and the fitting was excellent.

Recently had a 5.3 x 3m Pergola fitted from Midlands Garden furniture. The quality really stood out compared to others. Ordering was straight forward and communication from the team was excellent. We purchased a 4 x 3 Titan pergola from MGF the process was flawless after speaking on various occasion’s to Nicola Helen and John in the sales department before it being purchased and installed.
We were so happy with the outcome that we decided to have 2 pull down screens installed at a later date, that unfortunately didn’t go so smoothly due to the fitters having problems with their vehicle on 2 separate occasions.
Despite these minor hiccups which had nothing to do with the installation and quality of the pergola we are very pleased with the outcome.

Midland Garden Furniture were brilliant from start to finish. We had looked at a number of Pergola's, but the Nova Titan from MGF was just so perfect for our needs. The quality was outstanding and the installation was just unbelievable, timely and so neatly done.

I purchased a Nova Titan pergola from Midland Garden Furniture. It was a real pleasure dealing with their staff from the initial point of enquiry, through to completion of installation, including the detailed information provided by John and team, plus the planned installation by Sam and team too. Updates did at times take a bit of time to be provided (due to the busy Summer period) , though they came through and always responded. I couldn’t be happier with my experience purchasing a Nova Titan 3x3 pergola from Midland Garden Furniture.
I was extremely hesitant to buy again after a awful experience trying to purchase and install this exact pergola through other sellers (White Stores and Chimes). Those companies showed poor customer service, even after they managed to crack my porcelain tiles during installation. Naturally, I was nervous and cautious about trusting another seller.
John and Helen were absolute lifesavers. They took the time to listen, walked me through every detail of the installation process step-by-step, and gave me the genuine reassurance I needed to move forward.

Honestly, we couldn’t be happier! The Pergola looks absolutely amazing and the quality is fantastic!

The installation engineer, Sam, was brilliant. He kept checking to make sure I was happy with the placement and advised on which way to have the roof opening for maximum sunshine.

He worked quickly and had the whole thing done in a few hours and tidied up afterwards.

He showed me how everything works and gave some good advice on maintenance.

Brilliant experience dealing with Midland Garden Furniture. We ordered a Pergola first which we are really pleased with and then followed that up with an order for a Pergola Privacy Screen which arrived within a couple of days and has been a great addition. It has been really good to deal with a small company and any queries or questions we had regarding our order were quickly responded to. I contacted Midland Garden Furniture in the hope that they could dispatch a Protex Protective Furniture Cover to N. Ireland. They do - but virtually all other suppliers do not.
Helen and her colleagues provided excellent communication and an elite customer service throughout the transaction and delivery. An extremely fine company to deal with and so friendly with it.
The Protex Cover for my dining set is strongly made, looks good, is well finished and provides a serious amount of tie down options to ensure that it stays in place. So important in our changeable weather conditions in 2026. I believe I can safely say it will provide confidence through the winter storms.

We are absolutely delighted with our new pergola from Midland Garden Furniture.

After many summers of our south-facing garden becoming too hot for the children to comfortably play outside, we had been relying on makeshift canopies to create shade. We finally decided to invest in a proper pergola and, after searching extensively for months, we came across Midland Garden Furniture.

From the very beginning, the service was excellent. John at MGF was extremely helpful and managed to source a 7.2m x 3m wall-mounted frame for us. We had originally planned to have two 3.6m x 3m pergolas, which would have meant two centre posts, but the larger frame meant we only needed one centre post. This has given the whole installation a much cleaner, more open and seamless finish.

The pergola looks fantastic and has completely transformed how we use the garden. Over the past month, we have been able to enjoy the space much more in both rain and sunshine, and it has made a huge difference for our family.
